The cashier (ERICA) greeted me cheerfully , but because I am hearing impaired ,and she was wearing a mask.. I didn't hear her properly. I assumed (wrongly) that she was telling me I needed a mask and I quite ungraciously went back out to get one .Upon my return, Erica said she had greeted me when I came in , she was not requesting I get a mask. I apologized for thinking that was what she said ,explained my hearing issue and proceeded to ask for gas .. on the WRONG pump!! I had to go back in ,explain MY error ,and she easily fixed it ,said everyone makes mistakes. It's small thing from gas station owner's perspective but I had to scramble to find other location in hurry. It's just not well maintained.
