After the job was done everything was great and fine until months later a tire is losing air where then I realize that the rims were never put back from where they were taken off, so my sensor shows ALL my tires are in different positions.. (I had to guess which of my four tires actually needed air).. so I call back for them to fix that and the guy Ricardo, supposed Manager, wants to charge me because it was too long ago, he tried telling me someone else did that when literally my car hasn't been touched since them. He plain didn't care. They don't take accountability for their mistakes, Ricardo was rude on the phone, kept saying OMG and putting the phone down instead of hearing me out.. I will Never go there again and highly recommend you go elsewhere because if they mess up it's on you! They will steal your money. Caution! I was quoted $375 to install air lift bags in my Toyota SUV. I supplied the Firestone Air Lift kit with instructions. Instead of following the installation instructions that accompanied the product, First Choice Tire decided to remove my control arm. After torching and destroying the control arm and bushing, they thought to call me to let me know the job will be triple the cost originally quoted. Understandably, I was not interested in paying triple the amount of the quote. Unfortunately, even if the job wasn't completed, I was told I was responsible for the cost of the control arm they destroyed and corresponding labor costs. Beware! read more

I went in to get an alignment and 4 new tires today 12/21/24. I sat there from 8 am until 10 am. When they were done he told me they couldn't do an alignment because I needed some front end work done, no big deal I would've done that. They ended up putting 4 brand new tires on my Tahoe without doing an alignment! I said to the bozo behind the counter why would you put new tires on a vehicle that needs front end work and he responded that that's what you do, you get the tires and then fix the front and get it aligned. I have NEVER heard that in my life! I have been working on cars my whole life and never came someone that's said that to me before. I had to walk out because I was getting really mad! When I went outside there was someone in my car trying to figure out how to read the mileage, these people work on cars all day and he couldn't figure out how to find the mileage? The car is a 2004 so it's not very complicated. I told him to get out of my car and I left! They only want to make a sale and don't care about the customer!! We discovered FCT on Craigslist. They advertise wholesale tires for fantastic prices. The shop is hidden on a non discript lot off Bridge st. Its a small shop with no sign or large staff. Waiting room is run down with only a dirty old couch. Once iinside, you choose your tires that they have currently available, and then they mound and balance them onsite. The owner seems legit and we got a hell of a deal, and I would return here again. They also have a Facebook Page. read more

Too many bad experiences but I give them a, A for the effort. I traded up my WRX to an STI. I bought winter tires and they installed them on my stock wheel. during the winter when it was not so snowy out I noticed two tires both on the right side were facing the wrong direction. Brought it back. Tech fixed the problem. Same time I bout winter tires. I decided to buy a set of wheels for the summer and requested my stock tire be installed on my new rims. So when they came in from being delivered. I went to pick them up and I loaded them up and got home with them. They were scratched up and dinged up. I also noticed that two tires were placed in the wrong direction. How do I know? The inside tire was outside and the outside tire was facing in. I wouldn't have known there was a correct way to install a tire without have reading the outside of the tire Hmm. So they rectified that issue. When April came the last month. I swapped out my winter set for the summer set. Hours after the swap out I cleaned my car and dried it. I noticed one wheel and tire bubbling on the side. It's where the tire and wheel meet. That indicated I had a slow leak and it was not installed correctly. I took it back and they rectified the situation. The current Tech that fixed it noticed that my summer set was not balanced correctly. He then checked all tires and wheels. Come to find out. All four tires were not balanced so he rectified that. Here I am a month later and have an issue with the same tire and wheel just fixed the last month. The tire had a slow leak this morning and then came off the wheel. I called a tow truck and the tow guy asked me what was the problem I was very specific with him and what had happened. He said he was going to attempt to fill it up with air and said, that may do the job for today but I will have to fix it eventually. So he did, and it worked. He suggested that I take it to get it looked at. I was approximately 1.7 miles away from home when I had to pull over and asked for help. A couple of hours after being home. I checked the tire and it's definitely going flat. Sad to say I will not be going back to the first choice tire in Manchester. Too many bad experiences and a wicked inconvenience on my day and time. so let me sum it up for you. 1- two snow tires installed on the rim in the wrong direction 2 -two stock tires installed on new summer rims in the wrong direction. 3- all four stock summer tires on new rims were not balanced. 4- two new rims scuffed up and dinged. 5- one tire and rim were incorrectly installed which caused a slow leak 6- the same tire is still incorrectly installed and having issues today. I will not be going back here. Like I said too many bad experiences and a whole lot of inconveniences. I lost money today on a job that I was supposed to finish. I have to take more time off tomorrow to get my wheel fixed. This place has cost me a lot more money than just the tires. People are nice and customer service is great but I am not impressed with the actual labor work and detail they put into it. Tire work is important and highly underappreciated and underpaid. I slid on the ice and slammed into a high curb. As a result, I had a slit and a bubble in my tire. I am new to Nashua so I was searching for someone to replace it. First Choice Tire was near my home and had good reviews. I am extremely happy I went there. The service is excellent and the price was nearly $50 less than I had originally paid. They had to order the tire but got in just a few hours. They called me to let me know and replaced the tire in less than half an hour. I highly recommend First Choice. Beware of working with this place. As you can see by the estimate, they are price gouging. They are overcharging for the rims they recommended by $500. They are overcharging for the tires I wanted installed by $39 per. They are charging $70 for the "aftermarket" lug nuts which I can get for free. Not too sure what the TPMS sensors are but I'm guessing that's an overcharge too, but that wasn't my biggest concern. When I brought this information to their attention, they offered me a 5% discount, which brought it down to $3,243. If I were to get the tires and rims myself, that's $2,200 MAX. They charge $300 for the labor, which isn't a concern to me, so that's an extra $700 in their pocket. I'm not very good at math anymore, but in this case...it seems to me...that 1+1=GREED. read more

Got some used but good tires put on my car, great to deal with and everything was fine. Decided to use them for breaks as they are now doing work on cars. I had breaks, rotors and sway bar, pretty pricey job. Upon leaving after the work was done, breaks were squeaking. Brought it back a week later, "mechanic" drive it said he didn't hear anything. I though ok maybe it's the new breaks. A few days later my car has a rear leak, and still squeaking. I have tried to reach out several times and have gotten no response. They were fantastic with having wheels installed But that was all shot down with the next planned scheduled work to be done on my Van. My scheduled appointment was on a Monday for 8 AM and I had dropped off my Van on said Monday at 8 AM and nobody was there. A girl finally did show up at 9 AM and said she didn't know someone was scheduled at 8 AM. I said it's in your system because it was scheduled on this past Thursday and I received 2 automated text reminders for the upcoming Monday at 8 AM. So I gave her my keys and left. Around 11:45AM I get a call to pick up my van because they can't do the work because they don't have an installer to do the window tinting and install new radio and speakers. I must report an act of generosity on the part of management at this tire shop. I bought 2 used tires from them mid April and 2 news tires at the beginning of July. On each of these purchases I had one each that leaked. Like most places there policy is to only warranty for 1 month. Myself being very busy it took me until mid September to ask them to fix my problems. Acknowledging that I buy all my tires from them for all my cars. They fixed my problems free of charge. Up until recently, I have had nothing but great results here. Last week I ordered tires and had them installed. I even threw them a little extra for putting on some new wheel caps (to replace the ones they had to destroy the last time I was there) in order to balance the tires. Since my last visit, they have become a full service repair shop. They mentioned I had a leak in my front axle... I know I don't. After the install of the new tires, I knew at least one tire was out of balance. I returned to see if I could get this corrected. They took me right in. I spent a little over an hour waiting (it happens). They said it might have been my rotors (that are not more than a year old). After balancing the tires, they handed me my keys and sent me on my way. When I got home (10 minutes / 5 miles), I noticed one of my wheel lugs was snapped off. I called them asking for the owner who apparently wasn't available. Speaking with the manager, he said bring the car back and they'd fix it. After all the obvious upselling they are attempting, I declined and stated I would send them a bill. This gentleman said they don't work that way. I'm never going back here. I decided to order my first wheels for my new car through them, they barely have any tires that match 18", which is the wheel size I wanted to go for, I had to pick one out that was online. Ordered it through them, first time I went to check when they said they were there, they forgot to mention over the phone that the wrong ones came in. Different size AND color. They told me they were sending them back to get the right ones, failed a second time. I decided to give them one more shot, third times a charm right? Wrong. The wheels and tires never came in, AGAIN. Ended up getting my refund, going to another place and getting them within a week and a half. Nice employees, but lazy workers. Was quoted $590, then upon confirming price in person, it was $640. After squawking, the guy called boss and the guy found a print out quote with my name on it. Cant beat the prices, better than Sullivan tire or other chains that nickle & dime you, not to mention saving about $35 in sales tax (F-you Massachusetts!) Tires prices are about the same as most places, but your not paying extra for the mounting, balancing, valves, disposal,sales tax (Mass 6.25%) shop fee, screw ya fee.
