Stopped by for some raw meats to make khorovatz (kebab) at home. We picked up some shish or lule, chicken, filet, and lamb chops, about a pound each which totaled $50. It may seem a bit expensive but all the meat is marinated and cooks so beautifully. The lamb chops were a bit salty and the lule may be a bit much for those who are not used to it, but regardless, all the meats are packed with flavor. Everything was grilled to juicy, tender perfection and we will definitely be back. read more

Street parking only but there's usually spaces right in the front. We always go here to get prepared kebab & Lule meats. They also have good high quality meats like wagyu. They have affordable to more expensive pieces and they also offer sides to take home as well like hummus and garlic sauce. Their meats are always fresh and their service is always quick even if they are busy, they will bring extra workers from the back to help out. Had to try Haigs tomahawk Wagyu Ribeye bought 3 pieces and 1 wagyu ribeye. They asked if they should marinate or will I and I had them do it. Amazing steaks cooked it on charcoal grill instead of gas or pan. The marination was perfect, juicy, and tender. I didn't feel like dealing with the Friday crowd and traffic to get to my local Gelson's. So, I ended up here. The selection of marinated meats and non-marinated meats here is impressive - fresh and very clean. They have a very small market area that carries all sorts of Bbq supplies, condiments, seasoning, sauces, and ready made Armenian/Russian styles sides (hummus, eggplant salad, marinated red peppers, caviar etc). I am very picky when it comes to beef quality. Very. I love it here. Customer service is outstanding. The father and son duo here go all out to assist you and are very nice. I love friendly places. My brother bought bbq meat from here Saturday night and it went straight into the trash after it was cooked. The meat was marinated with so much spices that it tasted nasty and had weird smell. It definitely wasn't fresh meat. All the guests literally had one piece and didn't want to touch another piece. We were going to take it back to show them how horrible taste was but they're closed on Sunday and Monday. When the owner was contacted and informed of our experience, there was no apology at all and did not try to compensate us. Just be careful when buying meat from here. Open the bag after they give it to you and make sure the meat doesn't smell. read more

I had high hopes for this place. When i went into the store, the employee was super friendly and helpful. It was when we got home that the disaster started. I got 3 pound of beef luleh along with a bunch of other things out of the 3 pound of beef luleh which should've made 12 skewers, we were left with ONE only because the meat was mixed with so much stuff and/or probably old that it kept falling off the skewer into the charcoal. My father in law and husband have been doing bbq for 20 years so it wasn't the way they were doing it because the chicken luleh held up fine. I had guests over and we were so disappointed. I had to run to another meat market nearby and get more meat from there cause all the beef luleh we bought from Haig's was ruined. My mom called the store and the owner said "don't tell me about my meat. I know the quality of my meat. It's you guys fault you guys probably put it somewhere warm." Basically he disregarded what my mom had to say and blamed it on us mind you she was very nice about it. Will not be back here. read more

This place is a hidden gem! the quality of meat and seasoning they put on everything is out of this world. The cuts of meat are excellent and the staff really knows their stuff. I live in the area and swing by often and they always have the some new top shelf stuff on hand. The popcorn pork is to die for. Wagyu flaps are incredible. Chicken is always amazing. They have all the sides and knick knacks you need to put on a proper home BBQ. Overall the meat quality, flavor, inventory and staffing is 10/10. Always look forward to going back for more. Absolutely disgusting! They sold us old bbq meat that they put so much spices on to it cover up. We usually shop from here and never had a issue, but this last time was horrible. My husband bought filet mignon and chicken thigh when we opened the bags to put it on skewers it had a smell. But it was dinner time and everyone was hungry so we went ahead and did the bbq. It tasted HORRIBLE! I had a couple of pieces and my guests tried to eat it to, but it tasted so bad they couldn't. I literally threw all of it away. I was so embarrassed in front of my guests. I got sick next day and so did a couple of my guests. I tried to call them Saturday night, but they were already closed. Went in the next Tuesday when opened told the owner how horrible the quality meat he sold us. All he did was argue with me. read more

I love this family owned business. They have prime cut meats of wagyu with marble scores up to 12. They have prime Japanese and Australian wagyu and tomahawk steaks. They also have Kobe beefs that will melt in your mouth. If you are going to have a bbq, this is the number one place to go to. They have pre marinated cuts of meats including marinated wagyu flaps, filet mignon and more. They also have pre marinated chicken wings and chicken breasts that are really tasty. My personal favorite is the Australian wagyu with a marble score of 7+. Once you have their meats, you just can't eat any other kinds of meats. We ordered kebob and salads, the salads were old and smelled distasteful. The kebob meat was sour tasting, dry, and was definitely old! This has been the case on multiple occasions. It's sad because this place was our go to for meat for so long and after multiple chances, they have lost our business. I ordered kebabs to take out. The Chicken lule was very tasty and a winner! The beef Lule just ok. The shirazi salad was great: it had pieces of feta in it. Also I ordered their Ikra, and it was just perfectly done. I also took out a container of their chicken salad with corn and nut in it: super tasty. The portions of these containers to go are very big and only $10! They also have daily breakfasts for $8.99 to &9.99! Their food is fresh and reasonably priced! It's a nice sized market with a good selection of quality meats and a large selection of marinated meats. She ordered the beef lula kabab, lamb chops, and hummus. They will cook the meats for you there as well (with a nominal price difference) and she got the lula cooked and it was delicious! Clean market with very friendly service.
