Woah I was so impressed and grateful to have so much help before and during my wedding. We worked with Morgan virtually and she was very knowledgeable and had great ideas. Rehearsal and day of wedding I had Kat helping me. She was a breath of fresh air, intuitive and kept people on a schedule. She helped me feel calm and that everything was in order. Day of the wedding we also had Kim helping and she brought a great energy and made sure I had a drink in my hand at all times. Also the male servers were very kind and proactive. (I wish I knew their names.) I appreciate how nice and accommodating the staff was to my dog Chili. He loved being apart of our special day I'm very happy he was able to be there. The food was insane, the drinks were tasty, and the atmosphere was incredible. It smelled so amazing and we had great weather. There's not a bad spot on the property to take photographs. The staff did us a solid and boxed up some food for my husband and I and we ate it right after we left. That was really cool of them. We feel blessed having chosen Haiku Garden as our venue of choice. Morgan & team did a fantastic job. Special mentions to the DJ, florist, officiant, and all kitchen staff. DJ played each of our favorite songs at the exact precise moment. Officiant performed better than expected and truly left us unforgettable memories. Florist gave us beautiful flowers (and even more flowers than what we ordered). The catered food on the wedding day was better than the food we had at the restaurant when we tried out the place before the wedding. Multiple guests praised how delicious the food was, and I tried them myself on the day of, and I can confirm they are delicious. Morgan and team on the day of orchestrated the timeline very well. We had our wedding ceremony and reception here with 140 people. We could not have chosen a better venue. You cannot beat these views. They are full service venue, they offer a lot of services booked by them which makes planning easier. I booked the solo guitarist thru the venue for the ceremony I don't know his name but he did an amazing job! I got the bride suite to get ready and definitely recommend, it's comfy and has AC. I booked my hair and makeup with the venue her name was Emily, she was EXCELLENT. My hair and makeup stayed put all day! The staff there was great, Kat and Kim were our coordinators that day. I booked the DJ thru the venue it was Bliss DJs, the DJ was Kembo and he was so friggging amazing. I did my cakes thru Sam's Club and my mom just put flowers on them. I recommend doing this if you're on a budget, the wedding cake and sheet cake were like $45 each. My mom did the wedding arch and ceremony chair flowers. We ordered pupus, buffet lunch and added the roast pig. The food was good, the pig was delicious. The best entreee on our menu was the sweet sour chicken. read more

Sorry for the late post. I was waiting for pictures so I can provide you all with visuals hehe. Anyways. We got married at Haiku Gardens on 9/3/2025. Amazing individuals involved: We worked with Tamara, Morgan, and Kat. Tamara ended up being on maternity leave (CONGRATS TO HER!!) and we worked mostly with Morgan as she helped continued getting us ready and settled for the big day. We met Kat on rehearsal day and she helped us and the wedding crew know what to do and what will happen on the big day. And Kat was there with Morgan the day of to help run the show. Most of our communication was from emails. No texting. And phone appointments. Heads up: a wedding happens almost everyday here at Haiku Gardens so getting an immediate reply via emails and phone calls are not always guaranteed. So ADVICE - set those phone appointments! VERY HELPFUL to do! Haiku Gardens have many different wedding packages to choose from. They will layout the pricing for you of each package. My husband and I did an "a la carte" instead. Tamara and Morgan were on task and organized with the pricing of everything and anything added or subtracted. As far as vendors go, we definitely let them choose which ones to use (I believe the vendors they use are ones they mostly use in their wedding ceremonies) and all vendors were GREAT! We had no issues with them at all. I had to ask Morgan a few times who were the vendors so I can look them up online on my free time and follow them on IG and FB. Our reception was at Haleiwa Jose's which is up the little hill and very close by. They provide a golf cart to pick up and drop off guests and wedding crew from the ceremony site to the reception site. Tamara and Morgan showed pricing of menu choices. We chose the buffet option and added a roasted pig station. Per our guests, they loved everything and said all food choices were delicious! Nothing was dry or too salty. PERFECT! They even enjoyed the bar. Reception Space used was great. Just seeing the amazing trees, mountains, sky...was a perfect view. We had a small group - 53 guests - but Haiku Gardens can definitely have more than 100. Haiku Gardens....sigh...the scenery...BEAUTIFUL and PEACEFUL. With of course a couple sounds from the roosters, which we didn't mind. We're Filipino and we get that in the Philippines so we're used to it hehe. It was hot that day. LOL. During the ceremony, all of us were sweating. Good thing, our wedding favors were fans for the guests to use. But even though it was hot, everyone enjoyed and the Aloha spirit was definitely present. The floral decor was just how I wanted it. They turned out so beautifully. Wedding decor, which were from me, were arranged as asked. Morgan even let me borrow a couple of easels for the reception :) Haiku Garden's ceremonies are "DAY weddings," so just know you have the venue with reception (at Haleiwa Joe's) from 10am-2:30pm. Which was fine. My husband and I were looking for something not too long or during most of the day (we already got married at a city hall in San Francisco a year ago). It was definitely convenient for us. DJ and Emcee were perfect. We really loved our Emcee. She definitely helped reception activities go by within time range without the rush or push of getting things done. The only thing that did not happen (which we assumed because of time) is our money dance. L'Amour Photography & Video - They are amazing! Just having them on our special day was fun and they helped eased any nerves. Still waiting for the rest of the photos, but the videos they captured - wonderful! All in all, we are glad we found Haiku Gardens and Tamara and Morgan. Everything went smoothly before and during the big day. I did not feel stressed as I expected to be hehe. Views were amazing especially if you are not wanting a beach wedding. Our guests cannot stop talking about the ceremony and the food! Best place for a destination wedding! Our hosts Morgan and Kat were amazing and absolutely a joy to work with through all our planning and especially the day of the wedding! They were so attentive and handled all our needs so efficiently. We had booked another venue that was unresponsive and too nonchalant that made us lose confidence in their ability to provide the service, so we canceled and found Haiku Gardens only 2 months before the wedding!!! Miraculously, they had the one day available for us and pulled it all together as if they had all year to plan for it. They helped my daughter so much by communicating all the details and what was next on the agenda so we didn't have to worry about what comes next. They put the bride at ease and gave her a comfort level that made it a wonderful experience overall. We had the most amazing wedding at Haiku Gardens venue in Oahu HI. The venue is at Haleiwa Joes Seafood Grill. Everything was perfect. We planned a destination wedding for our daughter. We went online and found Haiku Gardens venue. We had been working with another venue and the. Felt that we needed something different. We had 2 months before the wedding. Once we found Haiku Gardens venue we got straight to work with emails and phone calls. Morgan knee EXACLY what to do. She had everything completely organized and all the right questions. We had everything ready in time and when we actually showed up to the venue on the wedding day - it was more beautiful than the pictures can express. Morgan was incredibly efficient, proactive and helpful in ensuring every step was ready. The lunch was amazing! The guests raved about the food. Haleiwa Joe's Seafood Grill is part of the venue and prepared the lunch. The view was beautiful and lunch was magnificent. The entire day was smooth and perfect, really. I was very nervous as this was our first destination wedding but we could not have been more blessed to find this venue. Everything was prepared and ready. They had everything in one place to choose all our wedding options. Once we were at the venue, Morgan and Kat went straight to work helping make sure everything was in place and ready. The whole wedding experience was made easy and stress free thanks to Tamara and the team at Haiku Gardens/Haleiwa Joe's. Tamara is a dream to work with, communicating with us via text or email at any time when we bothered her with questions. She really made planning our big day easy and unique to us as a couple. From being able to pick what we did and did not want at our wedding, to her contacting the photographers, hair/makeup, DJ and musician, our wedding experience was a breeze. My biggest thing was I do not know flowers and didn't know what I wanted for a bouquet. I really only had 2 very different pictures and vague instructions of "mesh those together" and Tamara really made that come to life and I loved how beautiful everything looked. The venue itself is gorgeous, the gardens calm and isolated enough that it feels intimate with your guests. I wanted the perfect wedding luncheon and Haiku Gardens truly was the best choice for it. What appealed me to booking with them was having exclusivity of the restaurant (Haleiwa Joes), the ability to pick ala cart, and bringing in our own vendors. Not only that, but the views are amazing, so I booked the date and started the planning process. I was planning off island and it was very easy working with Tamara via phone and email. A few days before the wedding, I booked a time to stop by to look at the restaurant layout and drop off things to set up for the luncheon. Our ceremony was held at Haiku Gardens with our reception held at the restaurant upstairs at Haleiwa Joes. It was a 2023 summer wedding held in the daytime from 10 am to 2:30 pm. We'd decided on Haiku Gardens because my partner and I are simple people who wanted the whole package and that's exactly what we got. The wedding planner, Tamara kept things simple for us and we mainly communicated via email. What was nice about holding our wedding there is that we were able to customize our package and pay for what we mostly cared about via a la carte. I am for one a person who only likes to pay for what's necessary. Another perk was that they were cool with us using our own vendors. We did our own cake, flowers, and decoration and paid for their photographers and musicians. Tamara was so kind to lend us their cake-cutting kit, and extra vases when we didn't have enough. At the end of the day, our guests were at awes by the beauty of the Koolau and the pond. The natural beauty of the place spoke for it self and we paid little for decoration. The gardens are closed to the public for your wedding and then you get the restaurant to yourself until 2:30! I wanted privacy over all else. I didn't want people walking around in the back of a wedding photo, but I knew privacy came at a cost and with a budget I knew it would be hard but with Tamara, everything was a million times more easy. I came to her 7 months before we wanted to get married and she didn't bat an eye. I really just had to give her photos of what I wanted or something close to it and she did it. I wanted minimalist hippie theme and I got it. She helped me narrow down what I thought I wanted to what I actually wanted. I really can't thank her enough. Just married a couple weeks ago. Our reception here was amazing! Casual, yet fancy. We loved the open air feel. The atmosphere was relaxing and beautiful. We loved that we had the whole restaurant to ourselves! Food- there are so many different options. We went with a three entree buffet and it was delicious! Food never disappoints. Tamara was great to work with. You have the option to book vendors through her/the restaurant or you can find your own. We had the best of both worlds. I actually couldn't find the review I wrote back in 2016 so I am reposting it because it was such a magical day. People still talk about it when we meet our friends. The setting is the most beautiful on the island-not just because I grew up down the road but everyone there worked to help make it flow. Ukulele music with our fave songs-friends singing at the kuncheon-plenty of cold water before during and after to keep everyone hydrated. Great food. The chapel is intimate and open at the same time. They have a golf cart used to whisk me down but also to ferry our guests who had trouble walking so everyone felt welcome. You have to book a minimum amount of guests to have a private party but we also have celebrated other occasions such as birthdays and you can ask for a section but it won't be private. And we have gone back many times since for dinners. We had guests from Sweden, France, Japan and the mainland as well as the outer islands. Everyone enjoyed the setting. I recommend this venue for any special occasion not just weddings. My only hitch and there is always a hitch--was the photographer took over 3 months to get us our proofs so we never got the photos out. I ended up making my own album. But this was not the fault of Haiku Gardens thus they get 5 stars for everything turning out as planned! read more

So, I went to Haiku Gardens because my wife read something that said it was a botanical garden. When we got there it looked like it was just a wedding venue, but a lady in a golf cart at the entrance told us it was also a botanical garden, so off we went... The wedding venue part looks good, and probably is wonderful, though interlopers like us can slip in far to easily. We walked down and watched what we believed to be members of the wedding party getting their pictures taken as another area was being prepared for the wedding. After a quick look around, we found a path to the side of one of the venue buildings and decided to explore. There were some interesting plants,including some bamboo, but the pond was disgusting. The range free chickens we encountered on the path were fun to watch, but were quite rambunctious and obviously not prepared for us to be walking down their path. They got over it once we got past them. Parking is not a problem, though people miss the entrance and enter through the exit more often than not. Everyone we encountered was very nice, though people showing up for the wedding were a little perplexed by our appearance (we completed an early morning hike and looked a little worse for wear. Check it out if you're looking for a wedding venue, avoid it if you are looking for botanical gardens. read more

My wife and I got married here on 5.29.2021. It was a little touch and go leading up to month of the wedding because of the pandemic. Tamara helped us out a lot. The venue has so many different packages; they have just about everything you would need for your wedding. Need music at your ceremony? Kelly boy De Lima played ours. Photography and videography? They provide. Don't know about cake. They can provide. Prices were reasonable. There were a lot of services we didn't use but it felt good knowing they were available if we needed. Lunch was excellent. Service was the best hands down. Colin, if you're reading this, you really made the whole lunch service the best. Overall, they made the whole affair simple to plan and execute. Tamara graciously accommodated most of our last minute add-ons and changes. The venue is beautiful. If you want everyone to see you while your sit, it may be an issue. Dance floor was in the smaller side so if you've got a lot of peoole, it might be something to consider. They can close the restaurant for lunch for the reception; dinner maybe not. Another thing to think about. Haiku Garden's is beautiful. Haleiwa Joe's is a great spot to have the reception. read more

Came here for my cousins wedding. The fact that people pay a lot of money to have their wedding receptions here, the most that this place can do is keep it top notch. This is an outdoor wedding venue and they're landscaping could use a lot of work. I come from a landscape background so I have an eye to greenery. It looked like they do not keep up with the garden. My husband and I had our wedding at Haiku Gardens back in August. We had taken a look at several locations around the island and we both automatically knew we wanted to have our wedding there! Keeping our guests in mind - we wanted to give them a beautiful experience outside of Waikiki, where most of them who were flying in would be staying. During the wedding planning process, we kept in contact with Tamara through email during the months preceding our date. We were wondering difficult it would be planning a wedding from California, but Tamara made it so seamless and easy! It was easy to reach her and she was very responsive. Every email was so detail oriented which eased off a lot of stress. We already had found a few vendors on our end and she helped us find the rest. Seeing everything come together during the big day was absolutely breathtaking! Since Haiku Gardens is on the windward side of the island, it does have a tendency to rain there more often. My husband and I are were utterly BLESSED to have married at Haiku Gardens in December 2017! The gardens are lush with green, crisp air, the Ko'olau mountain was a natural backdrop, and a level-below-heaven. My walk down the aisle from the gazebo to the stone stairs really made the waterworks lol. Our guests really enjoyed the gardens as well as the reception food. Hale'iwa Joe's was so delicious and you are guaranteed for a kanack attack (aka food coma). Ms. Tamara and her team gave shape to the wedding my brother and new sister-in-law designed, and from the rehearsal to the end of the reception, they were early, worked carrying the big boxes, carting us place to place, adding chairs to the ceremony when we requested, hitting out of the park the curve balls we threw at them on the wedding day (more equipment needed unexpectedly; extra trips to and fro, etc.), checking with all of us how we're doing and is there anything else we need, and my favorite part which makes them special, they simply cherished us when all the good, hard work was done and they had a moment to see all of us happy together. Ms. Tamara and her ladies got to know not only the married couple but us, the family and friends, whom they had helped in more stressful times just hours before, before they blessed us and went on to their continued work the next day. That was memorable and sweet. The flowers of all arrangements and purposes, and mini bubble-blowing "super-soakers", and white, sturdy chairs in the green grass, the areas of shade, recluse, sanctuary, gathering, photo-taking, wedding picture-taking, and procession points and paths were wonderful and well-planned and so needed, as we prayed, waited, worried, recited, ruminated, talked story, enjoyed, and savored each other and everything about this blessed time. When the wedding was postponed from its date a year ago in hope that more people could gather and travel, and that the wedding would be closer to what they dreamed up and had lovingly planned than it would be in 2020, this wedding coordinating team stayed with us, made up for lost time, and facilitated the big and little moments that made for my favorite days of my life. 5 stars does not justify how awesome this place is!! My husband and I looked around for places to have a small intimate ceremony that was affordable. Not only did Haiku Gardens exceed our expectations, they made it memorable and easy. You have to go see Tamara! She listens to what you want and makes sure you get everything you want and need. She had a back up plan in case it rained that day. She helped us get a musician, officiant, and photographer that best fit us. Tamara also is great with communicating with you right away. Easy to work with and such a pleasure to work with. The whole atmosphere was amazing! Thank you again for everything you have done for us. We truly appreciated all that was done before and after. I feel awful, this review is so long over due. Wedding/Reception: 10/4/18 We knew right away that Haiku Gardens would be both our ceremony and reception site for our October wedding. Everything about the venue felt like a perfect fit for us. The gardens are so lush, green, vibrant, and fresh. The vegetation has been growing for years, meticulously cared for, and provided the most absolutely beautiful backdrop. The plant life is towering but yet is so peaceful and calming. It truly is your own little slice of green heaven for the day. We loved that when booking the venue, the entire restaurant of Haleiwa Joe's was ours for the duration of our reception-no matter how big or small your guest list is, the restaurant is all yours! The down to earth vibe of the restaurant really got us- it's not overly done and is decorated a natural color palette and natural elements. The best part is the back of the restaurant that opens to overlook the beautiful garden. Moving onto the food- all of our guests and ourselves included, loved our wedding buffet. Every food item was quality, never overcooked or over seasoned. And they kept the buffet tended to the whole duration of our reception. I'm not sure if they were allowed to, but many of our guests happily went home with heaping take away boxes of food. The icing on the cake was our wedding coordinator, Tamara. She was so very patient with me when it came to our planning process. I couldn't really decide on things until a few months before our wedding date, never once pressured me to make a decision. We planned our wedding from Colorado, and she made everything I wanted come to life with the help of her amazing team of vendors. Her responses were prompt and thorough, even if it took me weeks to reply. Aside from her professionalism, she was so kind and easy to chat with come our wedding day. She even ordered some special cloud cover for our ceremony ;) Wedding magic! haha This might not apply to other people, but we and our friends/family enjoy taking shots over mixed drinks. Our friends and family flew so far to celebrate with us, we wanted to make sure they had the best time possible. Haiku Gardens was the only venue we visited that allowed shots...annddddd we loved that. To Tamara and all the staff that contributed to our amazing day, we are so grateful for your kindness and exceptional service. It truly made an impact on us and we can't wait to visit again. I'd first like to thank my coordinator - Tamara! Having come in with no experience on how a marriage should be, she definitely went in with the details and did not miss a thing. Now, I had a month to plan my wedding so it was no easy task & the wedding was approaching quickly. But Tamara was there every step of the way, reassuring me that everything was taken care off. Paper work was an easy fill. I'd also like to thank her for her patience because I did have people switch on me last minute so that meant having to take people off or put them on a table. Wedding day: As nervous as I was, again Tamara reminded me that everything was okay. The weather wasn't on our side as well as humidity, sad to say. However, I believe everything went amazing. I say original because about a few weeks up to our wedding, a new coordinator and assistant were hired to give an additional hand with the wedding planning. Jennifer was/is awesome. She had 95% of our wedding details sorted out and was professional about contacting me back and answering all my questions. If you are able to work with her, thank your lucky stars... The ceremony site is beautiful, it matters not if you decide to marry outdoors or inside their open air chapel. It's non-denominational and you can have it decorated according to your wedding colors. It doesn't need much decor, the natural beauty of the gardens adds to the overall ambiance. The food at the reception was excellent. I was surprised how delicious everything was till my HUSBAND pointed out that it was an actual restaurant. Major plus for those of you thinking about a hotel, this place actually KNOWS how to cook. The waitstaff is also extremely friendly. I had many comments on their wonderful service. The management was kind enough to set up a power cord running through the rafters to supply electricity to our microphone/music area. Now comes the reason for the -1 star. The "new" coordinator they hired did not seem to be very, how should I put this? Experienced or professional. She made mistakes on our account summary, made incorrect changes to our seating chart, did not answer or return some emails promptly, and was overall ineffective during the wedding. We had MORE THAN ONE complaint from our friends and family about her "snootiness" on the wedding day. She introduced herself to many guests as "the wedding coordinator", but didn't really help with anything. After the ceremony, she pretty much disappeared and we didn't see her again till we were leaving the reception. The photographers were sweet enough to tell us how to cut the cake and helped coordinate the bouquet and garter toss. Where was she? I don't know!?!?! Honestly, that was the one flaw in a day of overall wedded bliss. I still TOTALLY recommend this as a wedding site to anyone who wants something simple, yet elegant. We had the most PERFECT wedding at Haiku Gardens! The process was very smooth from choosing the venue, to choosing the food, flowers, decor, music, officiant, photographer, and so much more! Tamara, the wedding planner/coordinator was amazing to work with and kept me updated every step of the way. She is seriously the best!! We planned the wedding from Colorado, and I never felt stressed or worried that we would not have the wedding we were envisioning. She worked easily with our budget and gave us important suggestions that we would not have considered otherwise. I could not have imagined going through the wedding day without Tamara keeping everything on track and making sure everything went smoothly. There was hurricane predicted on our wedding day, but luckily we had a brief "good luck" rain shower, and there was no hurricane in sight! If there was, they had a covered chapel available as well. The food and atmosphere of Haiku Gardens and Haleiwa Joe's were amazing, and guests have not stopped commenting how beautiful it was! They also help to set up the tables, chairs, and decorations so you don't have to worry about a thing! Tamara even documented our wedding set-up from start to finish on Instragram, which was also really cool, as we got to see all the behind the scenes hard work they put in to make sure every wedding is perfect. We loved every aspect of our wedding, and could not have been happier. I would HIGHLY recommend Haiku Gardens and Tamara for your wedding, you will not regret it!
