After the cut and blow dry I'm just so sad she butcher my hair. At this point there is no fixing I would have to just shave it all off! I don't even care about the money and I definitely don't need them to try and correct it because if I did this I would have no hair left. Please don't go here they are not knowledgeable at all. I went in for a haircut and highlights, asking for warm caramel tones to go with my dark brown hair and to cover my gray. When the stylist Hayleesuggested blonde, I told her I didn't want my hair too light. But she didn't really listen and did her own thing, saying things like I needed "chunky" highlights because they were better for curly hair. What I ended up with were super chunky - almost white - highlights that look more like zebra stripes; definitely not what I wanted. The whole experience felt cold and uninviting. For a 3-hour appointment that cost $300, I wasn't even offered water, and when I asked if I could use WiFi they said they didn't allow customers to use their password. It seemed like every single person working there was new and didn't know how to use the register, or schedule appointments, judging from other reviews there is a LOT of turnover. When I got home I was very upset with how my hair turned out and the fact that it was SOOO expensive and when I called to ask if they'd be able to fix the color and have it not be so light the stylist flat out refused and said she gave me "exactly what I asked for". She spent maybe 10 min cutting and styling my hair and didn't ask me once how I wanted it styled, she rushed thru a quick flat iron, when I wanted a blow out after she flat ironed it I asked if she was going to cut it she said "yes I need to straighten it first, she then proceeded to cut it dry. That haircut and style cost $100 and she took no time at all and I did not like it. At the end I asked if she could add curls after she was done and she was very rude about it and they looked terrible. My sister came with me and asked for a blow out and they charged her $80 just for a blow out. We were shocked, felt ripped off, and really shocked by the poor customer service. I left really unhappy with both my hair and the service. I wouldn't recommend this salon if you're looking for someone who listens or cares about the customer experience. I have my self confidence back. Not to mention her and all the staff members listened to the details of horrendous relationship and gave me tips and motivation on how to move on. Because it operates on a walk in basis, appointment times can be flexible if a stylist is finishing up with a walk in client, so keep in mind that there could sometimes be a wait. This has always been worth it. It is part of the lower cost, high value structure of the business. Often times we've arrived early or on time and gotten in right at appointment time or a bit early. Windsor - Two haircuts, cut them some slack the first one. Second one I booked online with the barber from my first time figuring I could point out how she messed upped. When I got there for my appointment, she was in the middle of a long perm so the booking is not reliable. So I took a seasoned stylist who was open. I told her SPECIFICALLY NOT to touch the length in the back and how much off the rest. She was fast, I'll give her that. But she missed many hairs that my wife and I had to recut later. Sticking up all over. And guess what, she couldn't resist and cut the back. Am adding that my neck gets rubbed by shirt collars, so this isn't a request for style but because my neck ends up raw. I gave them 2 tries which was probably too much. I think there is a reason this place is cheap. They only know one way to cut hair. read more

Ask why not filter in between others. No response. Asked about the 3 customers without masks. She says my mask is not pulled up all the way. Little bit of nose showing. That was the final straw. I had a very unpleasant experience. I've gone in several times & it was good but the stylist that I always went to is gone so was told I couldn't make an appt with anyone else & had to do walk-in. Advertise as shampoo & rinse included with cut, had to ask for that. Almost no communication from new stylist, had to tell her twice that left side was longer than right & she seemed frustrated & said she has bad eyesight & can't see the mirror when standing behind me (maybe turn me around?). She didn't offer a blowout/style, seemed like she just wanted me gone. I forgot to ask for hand mirror to see the back, wasn't offered so when I got to my sister's house she told me that the back was not even. Then came the sticker shock! I had less cut off than prior visits & same service as before and it was $20 more than I've ever paid, she said sorry it is what it is. I was not going to argue so I left & won't be back & definitely will discourage family/friends to find a new place to go. read more

She just right at me with a Buz Cutter. Before I could say anything 3/4 of my Hair was gone. and to late to recover. Based even on this experience they are not concerned with the customers desires just how fast they can collect their fee and get you out the door. Then when you try to reach a manager or owner to speak to, to express your concerns you are told there is not a manager on site and the owners are not around either or how to get in touch with them. If I could leave negative stars I would. On Monday I went in for a trim and balayage. From the moment I tried setting up my hair appointment to talking with the manager about getting a refund..my experience was far less then desirable. First off, every time I tried to make an app they kept telling me to call back on Sunday for a Monday app. Which I did..but then told me to call back at 5pm to schedule the app. Come Monday morning I was the only one in the salon and the first two times I had been here were both different stylist...they go through stylist like pay day every two weeks. The vibe from when I first stepped in the door to me leaving, was cold and unwelcoming. My stylist did her best to "try" and have a conversation with me, but I left feeling almost bad that I had long thick hair because my appointment took so long...did I mention I was in there from 10 am to 1pm and she didn't even fully blow dry my hair. Therefore I couldn't actually see what the color was going to look like. I also asked for it to be thinned out...she did a couple of snips but didn't even bother to touchup my layers. I also found out from the second salon stylist that she had used dull shears...my ends were now frayed and you literally couldn't tell that it had even been trimmed. After all this I was just happy to get out of there and went to another salon the next day to see if they could fix the disaster. Which they did thankfully! For $170 more since we had to start from scratch, even putting in low lights to fix the bleeding from the first dye. Then there was my experience trying to get a refund. I called to talk to a manager or "key holder" as I was told and they said they'd call me back when one was available...two hours later I called THEM back and finally got someone. They told me that since I had not come into the salon before getting it fixed, that it voided any kind of refund. I understand that they wanted to try and fix it themselves, but after this experience the last place I wanted touching my hair was here! The first two photos are what I got and the last are what I got when I went to another salon to have it fixed. You can clearly see that the first photos are NOT a balayage. Don't say you haven't been warned. If your just going for a simple cut and you don't care who your stylist is...you might be fine. But if you put any effort into your hair then don't go here. read more

If I could i'd give it 0 stars. I've been trying to grow my hair out for the past YEAR since the last time I trusted someone else to cut my hair and this place was exactly like my last hair cutting experience. I showed multiple reference pics of how I wanted my hair done and the stylist simply glanced at them. I ultimately was wanting a trim with a few layers and next thing I know my "bangs" that were originally 1 1/2 ft+ long is now 7inches. How does cutting off 1/2+ foot of hair equivalent to ONE inch?!? The stylist also kept RIPPING my hair out with their rings. Who washes hair while wearing jewelry?! Not to mention their website pricing is bs. Their website says $24.99 for a haircut & wash, only I got charged $37.99 and didn't even get my hair dried. Who sends a client out in the snow with drenched hair??? Whole experience felt rushed and I will unfortunately NOT be returning to this establishment ever again. read more

Maybe one customer doesn't mean much to you but you just lost one. My wife tried yesterday(12/17/18) to make an appointment for a perm for today{12/18/17) and was told they don't do appointments, just come on in and they would take care of her. She arrived at 9:00 AM this morning and was told they were all booked up and could not take care of her today. If they were booked up they must have made appointments for somebody. When I showed up I was told that they couldn't do my coloring because it was too late at night when they didn't close for 3 hours and there was plenty of stylist working. Absolute joke. The person who greeted me talked over me constantly and when I asked to speak to a manager I was refused any contact information whatsoever. A few weeks ago. I got my haircut at Hair and Company. I'm very picky on who touches my hair... I figured why not try someone new and cheaper? That was a HUGE MISTAKE. As you can see from the photo that I attached. The lady who cut my hair completely screwed it up. I do not go to Windsor very often only for work. Anyways, I go in today to see if they can fix it because I of course wasn't happy with it. And it looked like a child cut it!! I'm pretty sure the lady didn't know what she was doing. Anyways, the lady who "helped" me was very rude to me. She told me with the attitude she was giving me "Well we have a 9 day period that you can come back and get your hair fixed for free but since it's passed the 9 days you'll have to pay $17.00 to get it fixed plus we don't know if you cut your hair after you left this place. By this point I was furious. My boyfriend comes in to see what's going on and the lady said the same thing to him. She tried to convince me to let them fix it but only if I paid $17.00. Have been here twice now for my two young boys haircuts, they did a GREAT job on their hair and the stylists both times were very nice. However, the reason for the low rating stems from management. While they advertise through online services (ValPak) where you access the coupon online - but when I showed my coupon to them on the phone i was told I had to have a printed copy. Why advertise through a mobile app if you require a printed copy??! The manager on duty was extremely rude about the situation, I offered to go home and bring back the printed coupon since I live close by and this wasn't even acceptable for her. We live in a digital age, it is extremely old school and high effort on the customer to have to figure out how to print a mobile coupon. Hoping the owner will change the policy to make it easier on all, or stop advertising through mobile coupon sites. read more
