After the service I mentioned the color was too light and she insisted it wasn't. Even solicited a colleague's opinion (something I learned was common practice in salons with unhappy customers). She stated it looked lighter due to "the lighting " and sent me on my way up charging me an additional $30. Being uncomfortable and conflict avoidant, I paid and tipped 15%. When I got home I took pics of the color in various lighting. Instead of a gray streak, I had a light brown one. She offered to do a repeat however, I did not trust her judgement and gaslighting tendencies. Said I was willing to have a redo by the owner of the shop which she was non-responsive to. She offered a $90 refund less her "product fee". She never replied to my question regarding the price increase. Carol was delightful to converse with during the service rendered. She probably does a fine job with her normal clients. For me and this root job, she missed the mark. Her attempts to convince me it was the right color, just angers me. I communicated with the owner via text after leaving a few VM's. She apologized for the experience and had no comment regarding the increased price. I'm hitting the box and doing it myself if I'm ever in this situation again!

I walked in and the aesthetic of the salon was so cute and was greeted by my stylist, Lauren, who I soon found out was actually the owner - how lucky! She was so sweet, very communicative, gave advice on what she recommended for my hair and got straight to it. I did a really good deep treatment with steam which I've never done and is supposed to be really great to open up the hair follicles and I will say my hair was so silky smooth after! And most notable, she is the only stylist that has ever blow dried my hair and didn't burn my neck or ears with the heat. 10/10 experience overall and will be back. Thanks so much, Lauren!!

After this I won't ever come back if I could give her zero stars I would. my hair was blonde I loved the color I had I olny asked for Katie to blend my roots in since they were growing in I specifically told her I want the roots blended in but keep my golden blonde hair. I came in at 3pm. She put the dark color over my roots and blonde hair then preceded to put the lightener I told her my hair lightens fast giving her the hint that she doesn't need to use a strong develop her. She should know I came to her for a Brazilian and told her my hair was highly porous so why would you put a 30 developer on already golden honey blonde hair .. anyways her next client came in at 6 I was still there. This time after lightening my hair she put the toner she asked me do u what ash ? I said no I don't I want it honey golden NO ASH .. what do I get ?? ASH she said she olny left it on 5 min but while she left it on my hair to tone she started her next clients hair roots !!! What !! Ofcourse my hair will come out grey green ! She tried fixing it after I told her I did not like it she tried another toner and honestly at this point I just wanted to break down. I used to loose hair like crazy due to my health condition so yes I've been soo happy to finally grow it out and the color I've always wanted and now I left the salon with fried hair and and ugly color not sure what I did to deserve this I tipped about 80 to her great last time and this time I didn't want to make a scene with her client sitting In the next chair I left her a 20 olny because I know she is a working mom. But from 3pm till 9?? Seriously .. now it will take about another year untill I get the color I want again without over processing my hair i honestly had an event to go to and now I feel like hiding away.. any ladies that have struggled with hair can be sure to relate..
