I had so many dead split ends, and just needed a little tidying up with my length by going with a light trim, and bringing back some bangs after letting my hair go this past year. The folks at Hair Studio were so kind to accommodate and set me up with stylist, Yuki. She was so amazing and sweet! Very kind, warm, and used very pleasant smelling products to get my hair back into tip-top shape again. She also adds in a little extra treatment with a very relaxing scalp massage, something I totally didn't expect, but truly appreciated. Thank you, Yuki! She gave me some great advice to start working with my hair as my wonderful grays are starting to come in, and I look forward to coming back just to keep some maintenance going on my hair from this point on. I got a hair cut yesterday with Yuki and was able to book an appointment within 24 hours. When I arrived, she was finishing up another customer and did a very thorough cleaning of her tools, the chair, cape, etc. prior to me going on the chair. I had very long hair, brittle and damaged from just poor maintenance- and I wanted it all off without having to cut my hair too short. She was an excellent stylist, she was very nice and sweet. I had a great time, the head massages made me so sleepy- I loved it. I had very long V layer hair and wanted to go for a feathered medium cut with a U shape, showed her the pictures and after deciding on a length, she got to work. She really took her time, listened to what I wanted and executed it pretty well. I feel lighter and better. It was $55 for my haircut and I will absolutely come back again. The salon is beside Panera bread on Bristol street & it is near by the south coast plaza! The salon itself it's not huge but the interior is very clean and modern. Jerry is the owner of this lovely store and also the hair magician! My hair was very damaged and had way too many split ends. A couple of years ago I had a very similar haircut and I was so upset with the results that I found myself crying a few days later: 3/4 of my hair was gone, we paid 80 dlls for that and I wasn't even content. This time with Yuki (the stylist who did this amazing work you can see in the pics), I couldn't stop smiling seeing the results (almost a week later I still smile of satisfaction when I look at my hair in the mirror). Jerry came highly recommended by a friend who always has fabulous hair. I booked an appointment and was very pleased with my hair cut. Not only is the studio clean and spacious, but it is so easy to book an appointment! Jerry is an artist and perfectionist, do not come for a quick in and out haircut. He spent over an hour carefully sculpting my hair into the perfect style. He is great with Asian hair which can be difficult, especially because I have a lot of hair and it is very thick and a little unruly! Jerry tamed my hair and gave me light layers that give me volume when I style it and texture for lazy days when I walk out of the shower with no motivation to do anything but blowdry. Prices are exceptional at around $30 for a basic cut for adults and $20 for children. I sent my husband here and he had the best haircut of his life and swears that he will now only go to Jerry. Jerry explained things to him about his hair that he has never even noticed himself and helped him tame his cowlicks and now his hair sits flat. I had such a great experience! I was able to make a same-day appointment on a Saturday, which was a plus. Luba was so friendly and helpful through it all. My hair is super thick and heavy, and Luba knew exactly what to do with my hair. She was able to work her magic on thinning it out while keeping the length (I had asked her to keep the length).
