I've been to the salon three times. Last week was the third. I had scheduled a highlight/lowlight and a small trim. We discussed what I was looking for before she started. The highlights worked well. Lowlights were not noticeable. When I pointed that out, Wendy told me it looked great and she wouldn't have time to correct that day. She proceeded to wash my hair very roughly, like she was punishing me. The cut took 5 minutes, the blow dry another 5. Then she told me "you know I charge a la carte now right?" Total $345. Shocked. I gave her 15% tip, told her I'd text soon about better color and left. Her attitude was poor, price outrageous for what I got and I'm not going to revisit that opportunity. I was so afraid to try a new stylist since my hair was already pretty short after the other salon cut it, but I was embarrassed to even leave the house the way my hair was so I had to do something! Her prices are also super reasonable for a women's haircut. For long hair, it was $85 (including tip). First, I have to say I have difficult half wavy and partially straight hair so it gets difficult to work with when I don't go to the salon for awhile to take some of the weight out. Wendy had no problem working with it. She was amazingly patient. We looked at pictures I had(always a good idea to bring pictures to show what you don't like and what you specifically like). She was also able to fix my hair color( months of at home product dye because I haven't been able to get book my colorist). She also told me to come back in if I had any issues and not to be shy. She wants you to be happy with your hair and return. I love that. I don't know what she did to my hair but my hair grew back healthier and faster than it ever did before. I didn't have time to color the 2nd time around and I had to color it again at home but she gave no judgement. She wasn't a one time great hair cut either. I decided since my hair is so unruly with frizz because of very naturally curly hair, that I would try Magic Sleek Keratin treatment. The process wasn't that lengthy and painless for sure. After Wendy blow dried my hair I couldn't believe how straight and soft my hair turned out.
