When I told Pete I would not be coming back, he raised my price on my way out the door on my last visit. Feeling confident I went back to have her dye my hair. I had texted her the exact color and toner my hairdresser used. I explained that the highlights were always toned down to give it dimension but she insisted it would be all one color. She fried my highlights by putting me under a hairdryer in foils and whatever toner she supposedly used left me with ugly brassy damaged highlights. I used XMONDO color at home (along with a strong healing conditioner) until I could make it back to Sacramento.

I just moved to the area and was excited to have my first haircut in a while. Jay is an experienced hairdresser and gave me a great haircut. That being said, she was complaining that she didn't know my hair was long prior to the appointment and ended up charging me $155 for a simple layered haircut, no color. I even came to the appointment with my hair washed and still wet, and she insisted on washing it before cutting it. I was happy with my cut and asked the total, and she wouldn't say it while other clients were present. She handed me a calculator with the total on it (155) and wouldn't look me in the eye as I paid her. Again, it was a good haircut but very sad to leave the salon feeling like I was taken advantage of. I wanted this to be a place I could return but sadly I won't. I hope others can have a better experience.
