But to be fair, my hair is very short and I'm trying to grow it out so there's only so much difference that can happen. The bad? Double bait and switch. I signed up to try out one stylist and was randomly traded to another. Then after the whole cut was done, she said it took more time (mind you I was there on time and waited) so instead of the quoted price of $95 it would $115! That's not okay! I don't get hair people who balk at people who actually have hair?! Since when do people with thick hair (and mine is short!) have to pay more? I've seen her 7 times now and have never left an appointment feeling anything but confident and stoked about my hair. No joke, last month I got a full balayage and some face framing layers, and within an hour of leaving my appointment, running errands, three strangers stopped me and asked me where I went for my hair/commented on how amazing it looked. Finally, you will not find someone with more flexibility on timing - she is beyond accommodating with her hours which is amazing for people with crazy work schedules. Do you have a stylist that will meet you at the crack of dawn for a quick, 5:30AM partial balayage before you go to work? I doubt it. Could not recommend Balayage by Linet (and Chelsi) more!

Their instagram and website are user friendly and highly informative so that clients know exactly what they'll be getting. Appointments are needed and can be booked on the main website. My appointment was with Carina, and she is my new hair stylist angel. I initially booked for a foilyage, but turned it into a bold-color-yage (my new term, hehe). The base is essentially a foilyage, but with Carina's magic made it lilac/violet. It was a long process that took about 6 hours, as expected, due to my dark hair going light. During this time, Carina made sure I was comfortable, hydrated, and somehow I also felt like a new bestie with the great talks we had.
