I don't recommend this salon simply because of its service. I called at around 4 to ask if she had any last minute spots for the day for a quick trim. She said yes, and to arrive at 5. I arrived at 4:55ish. I knocked on the door as it was locked and she walked over and simply unlocked it. She walked back to her other client and did not say a word. I was not greeted nor did she tell me how long it was going to be before she could take me. I waited 5 minutes and she had still not came over to tell me anything. I am a paying customer, and I expected a hello and some information on my service. I like to support businesses in the area, but sounds like Tuti didn't care for this business. Tuti gave me a blowout and style for an event. She also waxed my eyebrows. I was very happy with the with both services and receive several compliments at the event, I attended on my hair. While I was there, she had several clients who have been using her for years. I would not hesitate to recommend her. read more

I will never go anywhere else to have my haircut. Tuti Is the only one allowed to touch my hair. I had waist length dry hair when I walked in and waist length healthy vibrant hair when I walked out. Usually when you go to a beautician and ask them for a trim they cut off far too much. Tuti listens to exactly What you are looking for in a haircut and exceeds every expectation. The cut came out very even and easy to manage. I had no more dry ends but still maintained my length. She is personable, friendly, professional, and takes her work seriously. She is also taking the proper precautions to maintain a sanitary and safe environment in her beautiful new salon. The salon is bright, welcoming, and new. I love Tuti and Maria ! I had a deep conditioning treatment, shampoo, long hair cut, and blow dry this week. It was an amazing experience. I only get my hair cut once or twice a year because I like it to be long and I've had some bad experiences at other places. But I'm glad I found Hair by Tuti! Now I know where I can get my hair cut and in the future, trimmed, without being butchered. Lol! The staff was very attentive and polite to me even when they were busy. Everyone had a mask on and staff constantly cleaned the area. Make an appointment and be patient if you have to wait. They may have to take care of other clients while helping you, since it's a smaller local salon, but they are 100% worth the wait. I have two before pictures of my hair (you can see in the photo with sunlight how damaged and light my ends were) and a couple after pictures. I needed a few inches cut off as it had been a year since I had gotten even a professional trim. I was so nervous but I left with great hair, exactly what I asked for, and an awesome new salon to visit in a couple months. :) read more

I never knew I had such beautiful hair until I got my haircut. Tuti greets you & typical greeting. She had clients already when I got there, so that was a good start right. I had my haircut done at another salon over a month ago and I was really unhappy with it. I decided to wait a few weeks to let it grow out. I found Tuti on Yelp and decided to let her work magic in my hair. She did wonders. I love my haircut and highlights. Amazing, amazing, amazing! I previously had my hair bleached and then a month later permed at some other salon. My hair was fried, disgusting, and completely unmanageable. It didn't matter how many masks I put in my hair, how much I tried to take care of it, it was ruined beyond repair. I found out about Tuti's place and saw the before and after pics and HAD to come! (And I live an hour away!) It was soooooooo worth it though! I got a Keratin Treatment (that was amazingly priced if I might add). My hair is silky smooth! Shiny, and NO MORE CURLS! After not cutting my hair for a year I found Tuti on Yelp and decided to try her out. I love the cut and color she did to my hair. She gives you exactly what you ask for unlike other stylist I've been to. My only downside was how long everything took. I went on a busy Friday and my appointment was at 11 but I didn't sit in a chair till almost 1. I left the salon at 4! The salon was rather dingy on our visit. Not sure if the person who typically keeps the place tidy was gone that day, but the place was unkempt. It took about 3+ minutes of standing by the entry before I was greeted after walking in, which I found unprofessional. It takes a few seconds to acknowledge your awareness of a client by warmly greeting them and asking them to take seat. A greeting by the stylist lets you know she knows you're there, so you can take a seat, assured of not waiting longer due to her being unaware of your presence. I think another stylist was going to do the cut, but she whispered in Spanish to Tuti about not wanting to do it, which I also found very rude and unprofessional, and Tuti ended up doing the cut. The cut itself was ok. No different than any other cut. Though there are definitely varying qualities to cuts per skill of the stylist, I did not find her cut to be above the average of what one would expect at a chain such as Hair Cuttery or Great Clips. Given the salon environment, skill level and lack of professionalism, I would expect lower rates. read more

She walks in, apologizes and continues to have a conversation on her phone. I felt like leaving but figured I already waited so might as well stay.
