Yanira is absolutely AMAZING! I contacted her in regards to my wedding. She got back to me within a few hours and we got to discussing hair and makeup for my wedding. She was able to get me in within the week to do a trial run. First time I met her I knew I was going to like her. I sent her multiple images as to what I was looking for and she also gave me her opinion as well. Once we started, I couldn't stop talking to her. She is very easy going and she was nice enough to listen to my problems. Leading up to the wedding she would text me and check in with me just to make sure things were going okay. Now, the day of the wedding: I couldn't be happier with her work for the day of my wedding. She also worked on 4 bridesmaids, my stepdaughter (junior bridesmaid) and my mother in law. Last minute, I decided that I wanted to do my makeup as well because I was afraid of doing it myself. I felt beautiful and looked incredible! She even stayed to help touchup my makeup after I cried from reading my husbands letter to me. I have also become her client for haircuts as well. She is amazing in everything she does! I'm bummed to write this because looking at the pictures of hairdos on women's wedding days they looked great and were exactly what I was looking for. She was quick to respond the first day, told me a price I was more than happy with, and then stopped communicating. I sent several more messages and they would be marked as "read" and I'd have no more replies. Not the way business should be handled when you have an eager customer trying to close on an agreement for her WEDDING! Communication and making the customer feel good about her choice is key in the beginning of a deal, and it just wasn't there. read more

Yanira came to a hotel near the church I got married at and came prepared with all her different makeup colors. She is so sweet, attentive to detail and makes sure your makeup is exactly how you want it! I was in a wedding in Corona at the end of March, and since the bride (my cousin) was getting ready in Redlands, I decided to find my own hair and makeup artist closer to the wedding venue where my family was staying. First of all, I researched hair and makeup people online and made a flurry of phone calls on a Sunday afternoon a few weeks before the wedding. Yanira was the first person to return my call that afternoon. She is very sweet and personable, and even though the day of the wedding was actually a holiday for her children, she still agreed to take the job. I met her at the salon where she worked, which she opened just for me on that day. I had sent her some pictures of makeup and hair that I wanted to give her an idea. She curled my hair quickly and expertly and then did my makeup. She applied foundation and even blended it into my neck and chest area thoroughly since I was wearing a strapless bridesmaid dress. She also applied fake eyelashes and walked me through the process since this was the first time I had ever worn them. When she showed me the finished product, I felt that the makeup was too dark in some parts. I wasn't really used to it since I usually sport a natural look. No problem! She muted the smokiness a bit and wasn't a bit offended. I wish that I could fly her down every time I need my makeup done! If I was closer, I would definitely go to her for makeup and hair. I do not agree with Shellown P's review. I was the person Yanira sat before her. Yanira and I didn't think it was a problem since Shellown and I were part of the same wedding and are related. Yanira even commented "I hope Shellown doesn't get upset that I sat you first". I answered with, "oh no. She's not like that." Yanira was very accomodating to all our party and willing to change anything we had a problem with. I loved my makeup. And i also loved how she didn't take shortcuts. She made sure i was happy with the final result. Perhaps if Shellown wasn't happy, she should of spoken up instead of taking it out on Yanira on yelp... Or simply stop taking it out on the wrong people, like Yanira, and taken it out on me for taking her spot. In my opinion, Shellown has never looked better. read more

Yanira is amazing! Se did the keratin hair treatment for me and a hair cut. The keratin didn't pick up in my hair but Yanira fixed it right up for me and it's perfect. It's frizz free and my hair is a lot more manageable. She's good at what she does and is very professional but at the same time makes you feel comfortable talking to her. Once i walked in for the first time i noticed the enviorment was awesome! Yanira made me feel comfortable, i was going to leave this place happy! Yanira did exactly what i wanted for my hair. I wanted highlights but my hair was damaged, she made it work, she deep conditioned my hair after she did my highlights and i had the softest hair i had ever felt lol.
