The bride was treated horribly there from the moment she walked in the door. She was sobbing getting her pedicure because the staff was being so rude and snapping at her. She ended up walking out of the first salon and came to Pearl Nail and Spa where she was treated like a queen. They squeezed her in and gave her the bridal manicure that she was dreaming of and in record time. Every single person in this salon has a heart of gold and were nothing short of amazing and kind. I'm STILL in pain and it's been a few days since my appointment. I understand mistakes happen, but the roughness, lack of care, and poor handling of the situation were unacceptable. I will not be returning and would not recommend this salon based on my experience. No customer should leave a manicure appointment bleeding and in pain.

You have to "look great" to be "treated great."' Many, many neighborhood salons are snobby and only treat you well if you come in looking spectacular. At Artistic Designs I come in "just the way I am" (not in my NYC best,) but I leave there feeling beautiful! I have recommended Artistic Designs to my staff, my friends & neighbors. I am happy to say that Scott, the owner of KS Nails, has been very proactive in assuring that his salon is safe. Scott and his staff have all taken a Barbisol online training class and their certificates of completion are hanging proudly in the salon. Upon entering the salon, my temperature was taken, I was instructed to wash my hands, and I signed a waiver indicating I would comply with the restrictions placed on me - specifically wearing a mask in the salon. There were only two other customers in the shop and we were positioned far away from each other. We all purchased individual manicure tools, including emery board, toe separators and pumice stones. We store these at our own homes. Scott has installed plexiglass dividers that separate the nail technician and customer for both manicures and pedicures. Additionally, the chairs for waiting have been removed and the area where patrons were sat close to each other waiting for polish to dry have been removed. I felt very comfortable at KS and I am grateful Scott has gone to such lengths to protect me and his staff. I will return and encourage my friends to come back.
