Didn't have an appointment but was serviced right away-- got a simple gel polish acrylic fill in. Overall she did a good job, especially with the shape and length, but she did cut my pinky cuticle a little with the drill bit and then proceeded to put acetone on the open cut to clean up the polish. Totally understandable why she did that and not really mad about it, however, I'm giving 4 stars because $45 is a little pricey in my opinion for a fill in. In sum, would recommend if looking for something simple (ie no designs) & make sure you bring cash ($1 surcharge for card)!! read more

I've never had an experience like this in my life! I made an appointment for myself, my daughter in law and my 4 year old granddaughter for manicures, presumably all at the same time. When we arrived the a man told us to pick polish colors, but he would not let us near the bottles, we had to select from nail samples, and it was hard to see which colors were sheer and which ones were opaque. Also, the samples were filthy, as was the rest of place, and I should have trusted my instincts and left right then. I asked if we could sit together and he said no, and that they couldn't do us all at the same time, we'd have to wait. I asked him why he didn't tell me that over the phone, and that's when he told me they didn't do kids manicures. When I picked a color he told me they didn't have it, and brought another one which was quite different so I asked him to test on my nail. He would only do it over my existing polish, and when I told him that it would make it impossible to see the actual color that way he got very angry. Most of the polishes were brands I had never seen, and there were some Opi bottles that looked like they had been refilled, they had polish all over them, and now I suspect with other cheaper brands. He got very angry and told us we didn't have to stay, and that we should leave. We feel like we dodged a bullet, especially after now reading the other reviews. I was in absolute shock when the owner Kenny (the only guy there) would not finish my nails because he said I asked him too many questions. He had just finished putting acrylic on and they needed to be filed and painted. I think he has a mental illness because his behavior was irrational and not justified. He cussed me out and asked me to leave! When a lady in the waiting area, spoke up and came to my defense, he cussed her out and told her to shut up and leave. We both left. I just moved around here and get my nails and feet done a couple of times a month, but obviously, I won't be returning. I went to another nail salon a few miles up the road and when I told them the story, they told me that they "know about him". It was such a waste of time! read more

But no... 1.wayyy over priced! $33 for a regular pedicure 2.The lady barely, scrubed my foot, she didnt even take out the dead skin. Sooooo....this is a followup to my review from yesterday. Kenny should be FIRED or atleast not allowed to talk to public. RUDE is his first name. A girl in there has been doing my nails for years. I stopped in to schedule with her and ask her how long to fix the botched job his other nail tech did. He starts yelling at me. It's obvious his salon makes too much money because he doesn't need anyone's business. Me and my 3 girls will go elsewhere. That is $100 times 8 that just walked out. Fire him now. He's an idiot. I had a gel fill and polish. Did good job on the length and shape I wanted. Polish job not great. Didnt start polish up at cuticle so it looks like my nails are grown out already. Two nails are not as wide as the nails on other hand. Three nails have tiny bumps in polish. Didn't put a top coat on and 6 hours later tiny chip in polish. Not happy at all. If I can give zero stars I would! I went for a regular manicure and a regular pedicure. Told me to pick a color. Absolutely didn't give me a chance to even look over the colors.I decided on a pastel purple fine. Proceeds to file my nails natural nails with the Dremel drill because he was too lazy to take it off with polish remover. Doesn't polish my nails, sits me over to get my pedicure started. The water was so hot that it left red burn marks on my legs. Ask me what flavor lotion I want so I picked cucumber. Did not ask me or tell me it was a spa pedicure!!! I looked at the color of polish and it was iridescent . It was not the color I picked. He decided to pick his own color for me. I wanted a matte color, no sparkles no iridescent. Comes back with a polish it was matte about 10 shades darker than I wanted and I just settled for it. Ask me if I want a top coat and I thought to myself of course don't you always put a clear top coat on... Well I look down at my toes and he's puts a sparkle hideous top coat on my toes. I wouldn't let him touch my fingernails as I did not want sparkles. I get to the register and tells me that I'll be $75!! I said for what it was a regular manicure and regular pedicure! Oh no you got the spa pedicure! Really!! Not cool if you're going to up charge somebody at least more than them! read more

Terrible Job, I got a full set of acrylics and although it was my first time I know that my experience should have gone better. To start the man I had was very rude. He kept maiming it seem like he was doing me a favor. When he was cutting the length, I wanted something shorter but he refused to cut my nails shorter. Although the rest of the salon was pretty clean, his station was a mess and very dirty and it seemed like the towel I had my hands hadn't been washed in a while. I understand that you must relax your hands when getting a manicure, but obviously because not only was it my first time getting acrylics, and I was nervous about the situation I was not relaxed. Every time the man needed me to relax he slapped my hand with the file and yelled at me. He was very rough with my hands the whole time , when he filed it hurt. I told him several times that what he was doing was hurting me but I got no response because he had earbuds in. When it came time for polish I showed him the color that I wanted from their samples and he picked the wrong one. I knew that the color was wrong and told him but he didn't listen. The polish was streaky and didn't cover my whole nail. When all was done and I could finally really look at my hands, I noticed that three of my fingers were bleeding. I had to pay $65 for terrible service and a terrible manicure. It is now the next morning and my fingers are still in pain. This is not right. read more

Went there for 4 years, most of the time I received great service - until yesterday. Picked a color for my feet and asked if they had the same one in gel polish for my hands and he said yes. I asked: are you sure that's the same color? Yes! Yes! I told him it didn't look like it but he assured me it was. Pedicure was mediocre - the women I've had until then did a far better job. Manicure wasn't good at all and the color was way off. I told him when he was done that I wasn't feeling the color at all. Plus, it was done poorly. No cuticle oil, nothing. At home I realized that the color I picked for my toes (neutral) was different from the one I got on my hands, which was an awful whitish pink, not neutral. So I went back and told the owner and he basically went off on me (without screaming), but he was incredibly rude and made a big stink and loud enough for everyone in the salon to hear. I was calm and nice when I spoke to him, didn't bitch, nothing. I had one of the women redo my nails and they look really nice, but the owner got very rude again when I was done, said they'll do it now, but if I pick a color, I pay! Tried telling him that this was NOT the color I picked but he wouldn't even listen to me. That's it for me, as much as I don't like it - after 4 years they've lost my business and my daughter's. I'll take my money where I'm being valued as a customer and being treated nice and with respect. We've seen a lot of complaints about the rude owner on google reviews and I got a taste of it yesterday. :-( read more

Stopped in for a mani/pedi, first time at the establishment, no appointment. Clean and everyone was friendly. My guy did a nice job.

I took my 17 yr old daughter and my mother for a girls day out. We each went to a different manicurist. Mine was wonderful even though she nicked my cuticles on 2 different fingers. My mom's manicurists had no personality and got fingernail polish all over her finger tips and never removed it. I had to ask mine to remove it before we left. My daughter's manicurist was HORRIBLE!!! NEVER go to the american woman here for a manicure!!!! My daughter came out BLEEDING, she didn't get 2 coats of polish and she couldn't do the design she wanted and got another guy to do it (which was fine!) and never finished the polish job. The gentleman who did the design finished her nails. She was rude and kept looking at the clock as she did her job and kept saying she leaves at 3:00.
