Awful. The salon may seem nice but the hair stylists there are extremely unprofessional and unqualified​. Their prices are high and their services are awful. The owner is extremely rude. I got a Brazilian​ blowout done and the lady did such a bad job. After one wash my hair was frizzier​ and drier than before, I think her name was Jennifer. I went back to talk with them but they told me to come back later when the owner was there. So two weeks later when the owner was finally at her salon I went and explained to her what happened and she didn't care. She just said I didn't know what I was talking about. I've been getting Brazilian blowouts for the past 3 years and I've been to beauty​ school I think I know what I was talking about. I asked for a refund and the owner said no. The service was $200 and she said she can give me $100 store credit. Like what the hell. I'm not satisfied with your services I just want my money back but this lady was just like no you can try some other services that we offer. read more

Amazing color, cuts and blow outs by Stephanie. I have been going to Stephanie for a couple of years now and her blow outs are unbelievable!! I have thick, curly hair and my hair is always so shiny and silky when she does it! Also I would highly recommend her eyebrow waxing. It is perfection!! Almost looks like its painted on. , Up do's are also her specialty as well. She has done a number of up do's for us and she is amazing. My daughter has fine hair and her hair did not move out of place all night. Look on Facebook and see some of her gorgeous designs. Also Connie washes hair like you are getting a head massage. I love Hair Effex! The people are all so friendly, and the salon is really clean and up-to-date. I get my nails and hair done there, and I even shop for gifts there. Michele has been taking care of my nails for over 16 years. I can't imagine going to anyone else. I always get compliments on how nice my nails look. Michele is always on top of the latest trends. Stephanie does such a great job on my color and cut. She has my hair looking terrific! And, nobody washes hair like Rita. It's like getting a "facial" for your scalp. She has magic fingers. This was my first time at this salon and I highly recommend it. The staff are warm, friendly and were understanding to my needs. Karen and Dana did my color and Dana did a Brazilian blowout with help from Claudette . Dana was very thorough in explaining the process. My hair is curly and the blowout allows me to still be curly but without frizz. My color came out amazing and I did not get the reaction from the color that I usually do because they comb through before washing which I think made the difference. My Daughter and I have been going to Hair Effex for over five years and we would not switch for anything. My Daughter is all about her hair and whenever she liked someones hair cut she would ask where they got it done. Turns out that quite a few people all seemed to go there and so we tried it. Besides getting hair color, highlights, and hair cuts, we have also gotten several up-dos and makeup for multiple proms and always been very happy. I recently used Hair Effex for my wedding hair & makeup and could not have been happier!! My bridal party, mom & MIL all looked amazing and our hair/make up lasted all day through the night. I've been going to Hair Effex for 30 years. CJ. is the stylist I always request. I got a long overdue haircut and a blowout. Both services were perfect as always. Connie washed my hair and she too is great at what she does. Love her. Margie was at the desk. It was really nice catching up when I got there and as I was leaving.
