Really simple place.. Nothing fancy..! Good haircut and wash for the price of the haircut in other places. No wait time on Sunday..!

I came here on Veteran's Day and it was a little busy even though I had an appointment I had to wait 20 minutes. But after the experience I had I wouldn't have minded waiting longer. They did such an incredible job, I never want to go anywhere again. They covered my gray, conditioned my hair, cut it perfectly. I felt 20 years younger when I walked out. This is a great place to get a cheap and really quick haircut. I wouldn't come here for anything special or coloring, but it is great for a wash, cut and blowdry. I actually know a lot of people that just come here for a wash and blowdry before an event since it's only $20. read more

This has to be one of the absolute worst places to get your hair dyed at. They did a horrible job. I asked for a light brown color and i know my hair is dark so i asked if they can do it and they said yes. They lied... my hair is now orange. THIS IS THE WORST PLACE. Amazing! My hair was dead and honestly falling apart. It needed major fixing and a magic wand. Came in for the first time everyone is big on customer service! Constantly asking how you're doing, asking your opinion, great communication, very welcoming, clean, great prices, this is a hidden gem. ARPINE IS THE BEST ASK FOR HER! The owner seems to be on top of it all offers water, takes the time to talk to every customer, wonderful experience. I heard someone wait till the very end to day they didn't like their hair... we are all adults. By now you should know hair is a process, be involved in every step, pay attention and be verbal. Don't wait till the end to say you don't like something that's your fault. If you've came here and had a problem it was likely you, because they constantly ask you what you want every step of the way, make sure you're comfortable and you must be verbal to make sure you end up with the results you want. :) I will be coming back for my touch up and honestly don't feel I'll be going any place else from now on. Found them on Groupon, for hair cut and highlights. What I got from Victoria was dark brown and no highlights. She told me that after a few washes my highlight will come through. My haircut was horrible, too embarrass to show it. read more

Wasn't going to leave a review because I didn't want to hurt anyone's business. Went in for a color, which I'm not experienced with. Wanted to go one or two shades higher than my normal color, showed pictures and explained. Now, I realize this is a normal and relatively easy task. Unfortunately I put total trust in the stylist, and she burned my scalp several times separately with bleach and toner. I realize now I didn't even need to involve either of them to go up a shade. The stylist would her me say ouch but let me get to the point where I was swearing and yelling before she washed it out. I ended up leaving with yellow hair so I didn't have to let her put anything else in. I asked her to trim the edges because they looked frayed after all the unnecessary damage. After seeing the result and watching me shrieking from the chemical burns, the owner charged me for a two process color AND a haircut. It's three weeks later, and I feel like my trust was taken advantage of. I wouldn't have left a review if anyone had acknowledged how much had been done wrong and how many unnecessary and damaging procedures I went through just so they could charge more. I've fixed it by myself at home for $20. I should have just done it myself instead of wasting over $100 read more

5 stars for the amazing stylist the Sweet younger lady, my hair looked great. Unfortunately I paid 75 over what was quoted I was told a very reasonable place and they charged me 40 for a blow dry! I would of gone to the dry car for this price he said he would discount 5.00 Sir- you can't compete with the dry bar People come to you for good service for lower prices. 0 stars for the owners. The man who owns the place. He was terrible!!!!! The bearded a nice lady who works there she was almost in tears Screaming at her about not putting a Groupon certificate in properly. I felt so bad for this nice lady You were terrible to her and screamed in front of patrons, I can only imagine how you treat your staff when patrons aren't there. I wound up paying over 100 for my roots and a blow dry. Not saying wasn't worth it, as my stylist was great But that's what pay at high end salons You cannot charge high end prices for your salon! The worst color I've ever had. Asked for highlights and now my whole head is a terrible shade of blonde with awful roots. And when I said I was unhappy the woman laughed at me. After she got toner in my eye. Beware- there's a reason it's so cheap, you're going to have to go somewhere else and pay more to get it fixed. read more

I went there and they were easy to make an appointment and as I was there they welcomed appointments. I purchased a haircut, full color and style from group on. The hospitality is great and the staff makes u feel welcomed but I feel being professional in your line of work is key. My hair was dyed, however there was no wrap placed around my forehead to protect me from having my forehead dyed as well as my hair. When she was done putting the color on and let it sit she did not bother to wipe all the dye all over my forehead and ears, she walked away and I thought she was going to come back and fix it. I didn't mention anything at the time because I feel it was her speciality so she should know what to do and her job not the leave my forehead with dark dye. She then came back to rinse my hair of the dye and shampoo it, which is usually relaxing but she was scrubbing the dye off my forehead which made the whole "relaxing" part somewhat painful. She did take her time to trim my hair and the cut was nice; however my forehead is left with dark breakfast em dye stain ALL over. When I mentioned this I was told by the gentleman she can scrub it and I advised him she already did and this was how it was left. Then he proceed to tell me with a couple washed it will come off. Well I didn't pay to have my forehead dyed and I could of had my 17 year old dye my hair at home if I wanted dark borne dye stains on my forehead just for me to have to wash it a couple times to get it off. I actually expected better customer service when I pointed out what I wasn't satisfied with since they seemed so hospitable and "all about the customer " when I walked in. Everything about this salon is PERFECT---5 stars--- except one thing. The place is very friendly, and the owner is especially nice. He is always kind, caring, and concerned about everyone. He welcomes everyone, as do the other stylists. They even take walk-ins, and they do a fantastic job. All the stylists are excellent, but my favorite stylist is Anoush Pztikyan, because she does such a wonderful job with the styling and color. My hair has never looked better! The only problem at the salon is an older woman, with dark hair and glasses, who sometimes works the cash register. She yells at all the stylists as well as at customers, and she has repeatedly made mean remarks to people, including customers. Her harshness is the only bad thing about a wonderful, affordable, skilled, and otherwise GREAT salon. Without this very harsh woman, I would give the salon an A rating. Who wants to have her hair done while someone is yelling? read more

Then I was informed that my stylist 'no longer worked here' The rudest asian man answered the phone and would not provide information to historically loyal customer. The older lady at the front is very nice and helped me when one of the girls gave me a uneven cut...bad job..! I had been going there off and on for 5 yrs. Ani saved my hair by fixing it after the bad cut, so i went back to her...this time i took a pic to show her what i wanted but what she did to my hair was butchered it! It is so short in the back and horribly uneven! I cant do anything with it but keep a hat on my head! When i went back with the pic to show her how uneven it was and see what she could do to fix it, she kept tellig me it was a good cut and was just like the pic...really! Is she blind! I showed several people the pic and the all agreed it was nothing lime the pic! I just walked out...is this good customer service? I follow a good hairdresser to the ends of the earth but this place, i will never go back! Until my partially shaved head grows out a bit so i can get a good hairdresser to fix what was done to me,...i wear a hat every day! Dont do it...! Its not worth it just to save a few bucks! read more
