I just recently got my hair done with A'lizzabeth for the first time, as my previous hairstylist (who I loved) was unfortunately too inconvenient for me to get to. I went in with an idea, but wanting to get some feedback and suggestions from my new stylist. A'lizzabeth was amazing! We sat down and discussed all of the different options of what color would be best for me in terms of my skin tone and how wild I wanted to get. Went there to see Crystal Jane to get dreadlocks done. First and foremost, the salon takes covid protocol seriously and made me feel very safe. It was a very awesome experience, as Crystal was very thorough asking questions to make sure I got exactly what I was looking for. Gave great advice on how to care for my dreads, and got me the products I need for my dreadlock journey. Can't recommend this place enough! read more

I've followed Heather through three salons and I'm so excited to see Hairetics Salon. It's a beautiful salon with great attention to detail. The washing basins are comfortable (AMAZING, I know!), the chairs are beautiful, and the art on the wall fits right in. Parking is fairly easy during the weekdays. I love that it's so close to everything, Sightglass across the street, Citizen Band, DNA, Slim's just down the way. It makes it easy to schedule and appointment and still make it to social events and coffee meeting. Of course, Heather is amazing. She's taken my hair from long, to short, to spiky, to girly, to RED, to Platinum, and now slowly back to long. read more

I always have trouble finding the right words to explain the type of cut and style I want. My hair is also difficult to read as far as the color- its does not always react as expected. Like many others who have reviewed Hairetics, I have also been seeing Heather Jordan for 10+ years now. She does my cut, color (highlights and full color), and any styling that I need. It's so exciting that she now owns her own salon! Before I met Heather, I hated my brown curly hair. I had no idea what to do with it, and it was usually just a big frizzy mess. Then, I met Heather and my universe changed for the better. Since Heather has been doing my hair, I've been able to rock both short and long haired looks. My color has changed a few times, but never looking unnatural or weird. And with her styling tips and products she recommends, I am able to maintain my beautiful cut and color on a day to day basis. Seriously, I *HATED* my hair before I met Heather. But now I love it, especially the long hair, coppery curls that she gave me, which I am currently rocking. this is for crazy color dreams by hair assassin/conjurer/legend A'Lizzabeth. holy cow she is so talented. we discussed my hair goals and concerns (previously color treated hair I've spent 2 years growing out an undercut pixie so i was v attached to the length) and she decided to use olaplex for my lightening. she kept a careful eye on my hair and made sure not to over-bleach. she is a perfectionist and took great care hand painting bleach and color. while coloring she noticed my hair was closer to a different color than my ideal, so she applied a second pass of color to make sure I got what I wanted. rinse, dry, style, I'm a rainbow badass thanks to her. and she's a delight to spend 5 hours of your day with, GIANT bonus! 10/10 highly recommend read more

Lisa's been doing my hair for many, many years. It's been curled, straightened, extensioned, bleached, dyed, chopped off, grown out, Brazilianed, layered... well, you get the point! So, I've been going to Heather for dread maintenance and color for several years now. I have what we affectionately call "Calico Cat" coloring, as they're varying shades of copper, auburn, black, and strawberry blonde, some with hand painted black dye stripes. It's ever changing, and always awesome. She's a whiz. She's the absolute best at dread maintenance in my experience, and I've been to a few different people over the years of going from shoulder length to butt length dreadlocks. I've been totally loyal since I found her. Super stoked on how gentle she is, and how FAST. She's sweet and hilarious as well. Check out the salon. I totally found Lisa on a complete whim over the summer last year. I wanted to go from blonde to bright purple - and her expertise blew my mind. She picked the most perfect color and my hair looked effortlessly awesome. Then as the purple faded, I wanted to go BACK to blonde - and Lisa didn't even blink an eye over it. I have a very sensitive scalp and have had multiple stylists in the past even burn my head. But Lisa is so attentive and so professional that I have never even come close to having any pain when she bleaches the heck out of my hair. She is funny, so great to chat with and extremely creative.
