I made a last minute appointment on Sunday. Booked it at 12:50pm for a 1:30pm appt since I lived nearby. The reason I went in was because I just had surgery and couldn't wash my hair by myself + it was the last day of winter break before going back to work. It was the best self-care decision ever. I booked with Annie and she was so gentle and sweet! I went with the Signature Scalp Spa for $108 but it was 40% for the month of January. First they scan your head to see what type of texture and state your hair is in then take you behind the curtain to change into their towel shirt. Every moment after that was heaven! I didn't mind the massage chair at first but it got a little uncomfy towards the end. I could've told her to turn it off but it wasn't that big of a deal. I've been to other head spas and this has to be the top! The hair wash and neck massage was so relaxing. Just when you think it's over -- it's not! Which was an amazing feeling. I bought the 90mins Luxe package. I got it at a discounted rate from Groupon. However, she did not spend the whole 90mins on treatment but ended it early by almost 10 mins. The experience was relaxing and I fell asleep though aware subconsciously during the washing and cleaning. She did a thorough job. I was seated on a chair that also gave me a body and calves massage during this time. The other treatments and hair analysis was very superficial focusing on just the top part of my scalp and scarcely at that. The overall surrounding areas did not get any so call treatment. I feel very cheated by the service. I only tipped $10 and even then, I felt I gave too much for the lack of service that I've gotten from this place. Maybe they didn't give me the full service since I got it at a discounted rate from Groupon or maybe it is just how they work on people in general. However, it no longer matters as I would not return to this place of business but would rather try another place. I'm glad I did not pay a regular price for a mediocre service. read more
