Found this business as I was scrolling through Yelp and I couldn't be happier with my experience! Upon arrival, Jo-Ann was kind and welcoming. I arrived early to fill out important paperwork and ask questions I had before getting started! Jo-Ann is great at answering questions and addressing all the concerns I had. The session went well and I was really nervous but I overall felt comfortable because Jo-Ann was talking to me which helped keep me calm. At the end of the session, I felt great! I saw JoAnn three times, and I am not sure how she got so many 5-star reviews. She is unprofessional and moody and will take phone calls and cut the sessions short when she has something else to do. She does colonics in her home in a little room by the back door. The room is very clean, but her sudden outbursts ruin the entire experience. During my initial visit, right before she started my colonic, she ran to grab her phone to answer a call. I could hear her literally yelling at a customer who called to say they couldn't make their appointment - this could have been handled much differently, and not in front of me at least. She was so unprofessional and literally slammed the phone down in the client's face while she was still talking. Maybe she feels she can talk to her clients any way because she is providing a service some clients really need. Anyway, after she yelled at and hung up on that client, she was pissed as she proceeded to walk towards me to prepare me for the colonic, lol. (Just the thought of someone upset sticking something in you made me feel uncomfortable). The second visit she cut short because she had something to do, and the third she rescheduled without giving it a second thought. Three out of three, I was done! JoAnn can be engaging at times when she tries, but yelling at clients and cutting services short because you have other commitments was disappointing - and she charged full price before I left. I figured since she had to cut her services short, there would have been a discount, but there was not. Also, she leaves the last client's shi**y towels in a hamper in the bathroom, right where you must get undressed. You can see and smell the mess when you open the basket to add your dirty linen. All of my experiences were less than par, and I recommend you find someone different. For anyone who wants to know why I went back after the first time, it's because I had medical issues and she was the only one providing services near my area. read more

Jo-Ann is exceptionally gentle and is so experienced that it was over before I even knew it. Jo-Ann educated me more about my body in one hour more than any doctor ever has. We thought it was going to feel weird to have someone be present as you're being cleaned out but honestly it was worth having someone with so much knowledge educate you on health. The location is in her home which I felt a little weird about but once you meet her she makes you feel comfortable and the homy ambiance made me feel comfortable. She talks through the whole experience which helped me stay distracted. It does feel a little uncomfortable to have your colon full of water but not painful at all. I've wanted to do this for a long time. I had planned previously and then chickened out. This time all the stars were aligned. I had a day off, Joann had a cancellation and it was on! I arrived a few minutes early to fill out a questionnaire and speak with Joann. Everything went well. I was asked some health questions and we chatted about my eating and exercise, then it was off to the main attraction. The whole procedure took about 45 minutes and wasn't a big deal.
