Additionally, despite multiple warnings about having an allergy in our party, our food was still contaminated and that individual ended up having an allergic reaction. Very bad experience, from the start. The Menu was a bunch of greasy black and white papers, with illegible list of everything Hakka. So we gave a try, as we ordered soup and noodles, because they did not have any fresh fish dish. The soup was heavy on sugar, and corn (the kitchen and veggies soup). Tasted horrible because of the sugar added. We asked for a vegetable soup, hoping there was no sugar in it. The veggie soup also had sugar in it. Cold and sweet soup. Well pretty good food for the area. The fried rice was definitely my favorite. It was not spicy and distinct flavor that wasn't like Chinese fried rice. Sesame chicken was ok. The chili chicken momos didn't need the chili sauce. It probably tasted better plain. The ground chicken inside the dumpling has the same spices used for kebabs. The skin is deep fried and a little thick for my liking. The chili fish which was the same sauce as the chili chicken mom was good but wish the waiter told me it was the same sauce. What a pleasant surprise in the heart of touristy Niagara Falls! We are no strangers to Hakka food. This was good. Impressive for Niagara Falls, which lacks an ethnic food selection. Right across from our hotel room, or else we probably wouldn't have noticed this place. We ordered the dragon chicken, manchurian beef in gravy, chicken hakka noodles and two spring rolls. Prices were a bit high but I guess that's to be expected in Niagara Falls. (Example, the manchurian beef was $18 and had very little actual beef in it-- mostly gravy). But I did appreciate that both mains came with a side of rice. The service could have used a bit of work as well... The big table that arrived after us got served first. We weren't checked up on mid-meal, and I had to walk to the front table to ask for a take-out container and bill. This was probably due to a lack of staff (only two servers). I hate hakka food and wasnt expecting to order much aside from the Momos. I ended up getting Hot and Sour Chicken Soup, Chicken Chili Momos, Chicken Fried Momos, and some kind of fried chicken on a stick. The soup was delicious, Fried Momos were great, Chili Momos were just the reg Chicken Momos but with some red chili sauce on them, still great. The chicken on a stick was disappointing, because it didnt taste great and I was expecting some chicken on skewers to bite directly off the stick without the use of utensils, which that was not the case. However, this place gets three stars from me, which is rare, but it is mainly due to poor customer service. The chicken dish is served with rice, but we weren't given any. I asked for rice and waited several minutes before having my husband ask, and he had to ask twice more before we were given some. Our water for the table was never refilled even though it was empty before our food arrived. As we were leaving, the hostess/waitress lady tried to walk past my daughter as she was putting on her coat instead of waiting for her to finish, and gave her a mean look when my daughter accidentally hit the tray, nearly spilling the dishes on it. Also, although the food was delicious, the portions are on the smaller side. Overall, great flavor to the food, but not-so-great customer service. There are tandoori chicken, tom yum soup (but taste different than your regular thailand tomyum), beef brocolli (pretty good, but there are cumin/curry taste). The hakka noodles are good. read more

We also got the hakka noodles. It had a weird smell but we still ate it, it was really delicious. The service was good, everyone was really nice. Waited about 40 minutes until we got our food which at that point I wasn't happy with the service already because they waited about 30 minutes to realize that they didn't give us the mango shake. The house noodle was not bad but it was alittle salty. Chicken was good but the sweet and sour sauce that came with it was just too much, literally was too much sauce. When you walk by you see the place gets really busy but when you're waiting 40 minutes for the food, you really that it's busy because so many people are just waiting for the food. Do not visit this place if you are non Indian. The workers are extremely racist. My wife and I were seated but not greeted with menus until another table (2 Indian gentleman) arrived 5 minutes later. They were greeted immediately with menus before us. Their order was taken first then out order. 10 minutes later another 2 top (Indian man and woman were greeted and order taken quickly. The food for both tables arrived and we did not receive our food until one table was almost finished eating and the other had completed their food. My wife and I looked around and asked our server three times where our food was and the sodas we ordered. Finally we received our food. The noodle was crappy but the tandoori chicken fried rice was amazing. We sat there waiting for our food for over an hour and watched other tables with non Indian people sitting asking where was their food? I saw three tables of non Indians complaining about the hold up. They can get away with this because this is a tourist spot that has a flood of new tourist every day. read more

My family and i visited this joint on Thursday, October 19 around 9.30 pm and needless to say but the service was shocking. While i understand, every restaurant is busy, there is no excuse for rude and bad customer service. We were offered glasses but no water and despite personally requesting a staff member for some water, we still did not receive any on our table. Furthermore, we never received our can of cake but were later billed for it. Later, the waitress who served us refused to give her first name (girl of asian decent) and instead told us we were free to post a negative review. So here it is. While, the food was good, we left with bad taste, thanks to the poor and rude service we were offered by the waitress.
