This is my favorite Rosemont location. It's a small natural marketplace with produce, baked goods,…read moremeat, cheese, wine, and other shelf stable items. Good selection of produce and a nice variety of local and international food stuffs. I do wish the baked items were labeled more robustly so I could figure out if they're safe for me or not (food allergies). However, I am not able to try them based off the current labeling. They carry my favorite brand of potato chips (Torres) in the only flavor I can safely eat (sea salt). Unfortunately they have been out of stock forever!! The staff is friendly and helpful.

There is only a small amount of vendors that are in this building. I came by the Portland Public Market House with my husband for lunch on a Thursday afternoon, before noon. We ended up going upstairs and decided to get some clam chowder at Kamasouptra (fun name right?). I would definitely come back to have soup at Kamasouptra for sure. But the building here itself doesn't really offer than many eateries and think this place has so much potential. I think there should be more seating though for those patrons that wish to dine in.

I was searching for a slice this afternoon and immediately knew my target when I saw a photo of the pillowy Sicilian pizza here. It was even better than it looked, and it looked great. The crust tastes like a fresh baked focaccia, the sauce has a lush flavor (the sauce was the star of the pizza if I had to choose), and the cheese was a substantial herb-topped layer without being heavy. It's also approximately 9 for a large "slab" that could easily be split for lunch. This is also some of the only pizza I've ever had that is similar to the Sicilian slices I had growing up in Cambridge and going to Armando's (for any Bostonians that may know!) so it had a nostalgic element for me. The young cashier turns on the blinking light and we begin our wait This is my second lane, the others were way too long. Somebody over the airwaves calls for more cashiers, but fails to think about managers who could ok the purchase of alcohol. So we wait and wait. There was one young manager who looked of age, but wasn't. So me and the cashier wait more. .She apologizes. Finally, the lone guy that could check me out casually goes to 2 other blinking lights before coming our way. He obviously saw our need, but Instead of quickly coming over, he casually went to a station near the carts. He took his sweet time leisurely messing around it before slowly walking to our lane. He then said he was sorry for the wait. This is possibly the fifteen time I've waited too long to check out here. I'll pass on this place and go somewhere with better management. Thank goodness Aldi is here.
