Honestly it's the best halal truck I've been to in the city. The chicken, lamb and rice is just right, not oily like others and the lettuce is fresh. The couple who run it are also super friendly. FYI, there is almost always a line of a variety of people waiting no matter what the weather is like!

Yes, what you get looks just like the pics and tastes sooooooo good!!

No words to describe this gem in center city. Location: conveniently located at the top of the Septa entrance on 16th Street between Market Street and JFK. Bonus: get a free soda with every order and you are NOT upcharged for it! Food selection: You really can't go wrong with anything you get here. The lamb and chicken is always cooked perfectly and you can mix the two for a delicious flavor! The gyro is delicious with all the seasonings. The toppings are fresh ingredients with a cooling yogurt sauce (and hot sauce if you are adventurous). The rice platter is great but the salad (I think) is even better!! In addition to the great food, the service is friendly and super quick. The line is long at lunch so get there early if you don't have too much time to spare, but they try their best to keep the line moving as quick as they can. Overall amazing!!

Good food at a great price. I had the lamb, rice and salad. I plan to visit when I'm in Philly again.

The woman inside takes the orders and scoops the rice/salad, while the man grills the meat and plops it in your styrofoam container.

I usually get their Panang Curry and Pinapple Fired Rice. They are so good, you can't go wrong! Some other must tries are their Drunken Noodles and Massaman Curry. Very flavorful and you can get it to your preferred spice level. For dessert I have tried their Mango Sticky Rice, which you can't go wrong with! For drinks I got the Grandma's Lychee which had perfect sweetness. If you get the same drink as a non-alcoholic beverage it will be a little sour but you always ask them to make it your liking. My friend asked them to add some sweetness to it and they. The service has always been great. At times they get really busy and yet the staff remain very professional.

Delivery fee. Minimal tip. Whatttt?! I also asked for level 3 or if 5 spice. I think? I figured it would make it spicy. It was not. So I added sriracha - what I had at the office. It's a pint of thick sweet coconut soup. Minimal lil peppers n basil and chicken slices added. And a side of rice noodle I added in. When did inflation make it $30 it was good. But I def can make this at home and i have to , from now on.

This place is beyond popular as I walked in and there was a line and it was just loud. Not a bad thing, just shows that they don't play around here. The service was exceptional as the line did progress quickly, the man at the register easily understood the multiple meals, and the food came out quickly and was served to our table. I had the beef shawarma maroosh way which usually comes with beef, pickles, tomatoes, and garlic sauce (egg allergy so I removed it). It was so tasty, the flavors just went crazy. The rest of my family had the kefta kabob sandwich, cheesesteak (raved about and apparently very highly rated), chicken shish tawook sandwich, falafel with taboulay sandwich, and rice pudding (not pictured). Honestly, regardless of if you eat halal or not, this is a must try restaurant. The vast options on the menu can be overwhelming but you get bang for your buck as they load up on your order.

Marrakesh is one of my absolute favorite places to eat in Philadelphia!!…read more I wish it existed in more cities. This is a multicourse journey through Marrakesh that cannot be repeated anywhere else except for maybe in the real Marrakesh. From the Bastilla pastry, which is DIVINE, to the salads, the chicken and kebabs... all the way to the baklava and tea.... there is no bad bite at Marrakesh. The owners are welcoming and super amenable and make you feel like you're coming home every single time you visit. It's in a odd location, and you may feel like you are making a questionable life decision as you walk up the alley to the door, but when you arrive, you realize that in fact, it was one of the best decisions you've made in years!! When you enter, it's like you've been transported to a beautiful room in Morocco. The music, the decor, even the authentic seating make for an unforgettable experience. And if you get really lucky, you also get to see the belly dancers who are top notch! There is not a single thing I can think of to say that Marrakesh needs to improve. It is a one of a kind experience that I feel everyone should have at least once in life!

I'm so glad my friends wanted to come here to celebrate our Friendsgiving. The food was as good as I remembered , the service as ever warm and welcoming. Since I hadn't been for so long, I ate everything as was prepared - but I'm happy to hear it sounds like they have veg options on their tasting menu. I'm looking forward to trying that my next return. But I couldn't say no to their chicken after almost a decade I highly recommend checking out this business for a delicious family style cooked meal.
