Songs are texted in using the well placed codes about the bar. Many of my friends sang on the different nights. The sound was good, the mic/s were good, and the music choices were available. The only meh part for one friend was for one song where the music was slower and in a different key, but my vocally talented friend adjusted. No worries - it just wasn't her favorite. Easy system for requesting a song- just send a text with your name, artist, and title. Good crowd for karaoke too, everybody applauds, a mix of good singers and people fueled by liquid courage. Again, just what you want in a karaoke dive bar. Only bar I've ever been into that had a dB SPL meter behind the bar, too. I didn't ask for the story behind it, but I bet there is one. Terrible cell phone reception here, and I kept forgetting to ask for the WiFi password. So if you're using a ride share service, plan ahead. Glad to have a favorite karaoke spot on the island now.
