Cute lil cafe on the road to hana :) tropical smoothie was yum and had the curry for a quick lunch. there's a friendly man who sells a large selection of second hand jewelry right next to the cafe truck too!

Nice little spot along the road to Hana. We stopped by for a smoothie and some food. We had the island curry and a taro burger. Both were good. The smoothie was ok, could have been a bit more sweet in my opinion. We also bought a star fruit to try, it was pretty sweet. He said he grows them in his backyard. Free wifi available and a porter potty toilet. Nice spot to take a break, use the restroom and refuel.

After passing the town of Paia along the Road to Hāna, the majority of food and beverages are from food trucks. About a third of the way you'll see Maui Garden Grove Café on the left side. It is one of the first stops available. They offer a clean port-o-potty for customers but also several drink and food items. Unfortunately the barista wasn't very friendly or interested in answering our questions regarding a particular trail up ahead. Either way, we ordered banana bread that claimed to be "the best" like every other street side stand. The banana bread was sadly dry--wait until Hāna Roadside Farms which I deem has the freshest and best banana bread on the island. We also had coffee but no espresso. I went with an iced cafe au lait with macadamia milk. It was sadly watered down before any of the ice melted. Directly after this stand appear the Eucalyptus Rainbow Trees, followed by Haipua'ena Falls.

Veggie curry, coconut cornbread, and naan

Adorable little cafe right off the Road to Hana. We had the Vegetable Curry and it was DELICIOUS! The coconut cornbread was also fantastic. They had wifi, a cute seating area, and the service was great. Will definitely stop again of given the chance.

Highly recommend stopping here for a drink or snack! Yes, it's pricey but you are in HAWAII so just be happy. The drinks taste amazing, I felt at least 5 layers of flavor on my tongue. They do have a honey bucket but don't be saddened. This is no typical honey bucket. This is luxury bucket. I can really tell that they take great care of keeping it clean and part of that effort is having it slightly hidden and for customers only. Also, to the man that was working the truck, I saw you resting and massaging your own back. Sir, I feel you. I quit Starbucks becuase my back hurt too bad and it's not like I can rest my cheeks on the counter when talking to a customer or barista-ing. So, to you, I just want to say I appreciate all that you do and the smoothie was amazing. I tasted the love.

Highly recommend the Maui Mudslide! Got one on the road to Hana (about mile marker 5). The next day got another heading back! Paradise smoothie was also amazing!

Amazing stop for your taste buds on the Road to Hana! Service was quick and friendly. Tried both the Island Curry and the Island Chili - both delicious. Got banana bread and a smoothie too. Couldn't ask for more... They also have a restroom for customers and free Wi-Fi and beautifully painted with tropical flowers by a local artist. Definitely recommend!

Chili was so good! Hibiscus tea was the perfect accompaniment.

They use New Zealand Ice Cream Machines to create their fresh fruit ice cream concoctions. You can choose between Vanilla or Coconut (Non Dairy) Base, between a cup or a Waffle Cone, and you can choose 1 or up to 3 fruits to swirl into your ice cream. I was going to go modest with 1 fruit but decided on the 3 fruit combo of Strawberry, Mango and Banana and it was a nice swirl of fruits and the coconut base and I think best enjoyed in the crispy Waffle Cone. I'm a sprinkle addict (a go to on my ice cream since childhood lol) so that was lacking for me but I noticed you can add various toppings like Oreos, Honey, Granola, Waffle cone crumbles, etc. I tried my friend's fruit choices and they were delicious! The Pineapple with Coconut Base tasted like a Dole Whip, the Banana was light and creamy and the Strawberry and Mango (which was close to mine) was delicious as well. They have outdoor seating in the back with a little bit of shade. The last time I came with a friend was evening when it was cooler but the ice cream definitely hit during the day and was refreshing for sure.

The staff was friendly and organized, keeping the line moving without making anyone feel rushed. Looking at it, you might think it's overly sweet, but it wasn't. Oh wow! This went way above my expectations!…read more When my trip to Maui was first booked, I researched a lot of food/desserts to try and spots to go to. I saw a lot of hype about this shaved ice, but I was like "it just looks a snowcone an I've had plenty of those" so I kinda blew it off like "oh I'll try it if we just happen to stumble upon a place" but I didn't write it down as a "must try" We went on a hike at the Pipiwai trail one morning and drove the whole rode to Hana. I was pretty bummed that we didn't get to the banana bread place before they closed, but on our way back to Waleia, I was looking up some spots to get a snack. This place popped up and I remembered it from my research so I figured we'd just go. It was on the way. We got ube, green tea, and lychee with a snow cap and mochi. Omg! It was wayyyyyyyy better than just a regular ole snowcone. It's so much creamier and the additional texture of mochi made it even better. Idk if it was because we just got back from hiking but it was so refreshing! I deffinitly recommend The only downfall of the location is that there was only one table and it was full when we were there so we had to walk down a bit to find another bench to sit at.
