Lilikoi seeds! Where can you find a place that makes their own syrups and with pure cane sugar!
    Christina A.

I never pass this place up when I'm here! I was so full but today I came and got a small one because it's become my thing now! I was here with friends for my 24hr layover watching the Soccer game and they continued on to the next place and I left to come here before the evening rush! One word of advice..try to get here before 6-:6:30 if you can to beat the long lines! I only waited 5 min tonight and got lucky at 6:30! I'm taking a month off my Honolulu trips and I'm going to miss it! Great people, great service, and you won't find better shaved ice here! I recommend lychee, Lilikoi and mango with macnut ice cream and sweetened condensed milk! They make their own syrups and these flavors are incredible together! Trust me!

House made lilikoi, guava and pineapple over coco mac nut ice cream (keiki size)

This is a hidden gem tucked away in a food court in the heart of Waikiki. I originally found this place while searching the internet for pressed penny machines in the area. I love collecting them wherever I travel. Waited for the shop to open. The shop owners are such a pleasant couple and we spent several minutes "talking story" while he prepared my shave ice. The ice is fluffy and melts in your mouth and the house made syrups compliment it beautifully . I like that they are not overly sweet and you can taste the fruit flavor rather than just sugar syrup. The added Mac nut ice cream was incredible. This was the perfect treat for my little Hawaiian layover.

Very fluffy ice!!! Owners were so nice we went back several times after finding them. Loved the natural flavors. Cute little shop too! I think we told everyone we could about this shop!

Shaved ice 5/5 Fluffy sweet, oh my, make sure you try it the local style with ice cream bottom and condense milk on top. It's a must. Service 5/5 Overall 5/5 We had 2 customers ahead of us and that gave us choice of the 36 flavors to pick from. Owner and his wife was there and they were friendly, polite and very fun to chat with. Our short stay was pleasant and we will return back for more. Nothing like a Hawaiian shaved ice dessert, just one of a kind.

    Guava, Lilikoi, and pineapple. YUM

Genuinely the BEST shave ice on Oahu!!! Not even joking. The ice is like fluffy and flavorful. Chris told us he's just a Shave Ice man & that's 100% what he is. He loves what he does & loves connecting with customers. I would come back to Oahu just for this ice! Can't beat the prices... Even to top the ice they make some syrups in house. Ever time you come you're left with great shave ice & personable connection with the owners. Truly 10/10

Went to this underground spot after eating at stix and had awesome shaved ice. The owner was super nice and hand crafted dessert for my family. Would recommend this over island vintage because having a face to face conversation beats ordering from a soul-less kiosk any day.

    Guava and Yuzu - AMAZING!!!

What a lovely experience and the best shave ice in town! Google Maps is a little funky with the directions but do not give up, it's so worth it! It's in the same shopping Center just in a different "lower level" than it'll send you to so just walk around a bit and you'll find it. Use the entrance on Royal Hawaiian Ave and go down the stairs The owners are so sweet and will walk you through the flavors and options. So many of the syrups are home made with love. So many other shops have board teenagers working and this is such a class act of a place with the flavors and quality to back it up We got the Guava and Yuzu and it was amazing and so fresh Well be going back again before our stay in Waikiki is over

We were craving shave ice and wanted a truly delicious spot. There are many on the island, but the Yelp reviews lead us here. I am so happy we decided to walk the extra to find this spot. Haleiwa Town Shave Ice is located on the lower level of the Waikiki Shopping Plaza. There are also many other food spots in this plaza, so you can grab dinner and the best shave ice for desert in the same complex. The shop itself is welcoming, cute, vibrant and full of many things you can take home with you as well, souvenirs, shirts, swag, etc. Chris the owner is such a nice guy, we talked about what makes a great shave ice, of course quality ingredients and variety of flavors, but it really comes down to the ice, the finer the ice the better. The pack is also important, to tight, you lose the light texture, it is a balance. They have perfects it. He also gave us dinner gave us some nice dinner recommendations on the island and many samples of flavors so we were able to find the perfect choice. The shave ice was everything I wanted, the perfect ice, light and airy, heaping high with 3 wonderful flavors. I ended up having lili koi, grape and pineapple, had to have ice cream on the bottom of course, my choice was taro. First time having lili koi, I loved it. All the flavors came together beautifully, blended perfectly and complimented each other. I highly recommend Haleiwa Town Shave Ice if in Waikīkī, great shave ice and a super nice owner. Enjoy!

Best shaved ice we had on the island! By far. Friendly husband and wife owner who clearly love what they do. Spend your money at places that matter

Service: 5/5 This place is owned by a really cute couple and they were super friendly. They focused on making each shave ice high quality (for example I got mochi balls and the wife individually placed the mochi so it was evenly spread out in the shave ice). Shave ice: 4.5/5 The ice is super fluffy, I recommend eating it as soon as you get it because it'll melt quickly in the heat (a sign of good ice!). They also have a large # of flavor choices, many of which are house-made. I tried the guava, lychee, and mango and the lychee was my favorite. The guava was a touch sweet for my taste. I would definitely come again for the shave ice but also just to support this cute couple!

Delicious, refreshing, and affordable shave ice! Their menu is pretty specific, so ask the staff if you have any questions. They're really honest and can give you some local tips! Choose up to 3 flavors! I got the lychee, guava, and strawberry flavors. Note that they're all made with cane sugar. You MUST add ice cream at the bottom for the ultimate shave ice experience. Their scoops range from $4.99 to $12.50, which is much better pricing than most shave ice places in the area. There's a lot of seating outside as well. It's a real gem! Additionally, there's a photo op and gift shop while you wait for your shave ice. It's a really cute area.

    Rachel K.

We stopped into Haleiwa Town Shave Ice after dinner and I'm so glad we did. In fact, I wish we had found them earlier in the trip because their shave ice is fantastic. They have a lot of natural house made flavors which we typically prefer and theirs were great. When passionfruit syrup still has the seeds in it, you know it's fresh. We shared a regular shave ice ($6.99) with condensed milk added (+$1) and chose natural Lilikoi, guava, and tamarind. At first we didn't think they added enough syrup, but after walking it to one of the tables and taking a bite we realized their syrup had SO MUCH flavor. We loved our combination and almost bought a second one, but we were too full from dinner. They also offer ice cream and have a lot of gift shop items and art in their store. The staff was really friendly and chatted with us while they made our order. We would 100% recommend stopping in for shave ice here.

    A H.

It is the best shaved ice ever!! The place is a little hard to find; but, definitely worth the hunt! It is not over drizzled with syrup, the ice to syrup ratio is just perfect!

Mango and lychee syrups, azuki beans at the base, and topped off condensed milk

The person at the register, an older gentleman, spent a considerable amount of time with a Japanese couple, purchasing items. He wrapped, taped, and carefully put items in a bag for them, and handed them their purchase. My turn, maybe it's because I'm in my tshirt and shorts, just a local ol' lady. He rings me up, tapes the plastic bag the item comes in off the shelf, and hands it to me. I didn't get asked if I needed a bag, as it is a gift I'm taking to Japan. I ask if he has a bag of sorts I can put that in? He asks, "such as?". I say, a small bag of sorts? He says, "well we have this brown paper bag, if you want?". Picks up a brown bag from behind the counter. I was done. I said no thanks. And walked away. Why such a difference in service? Maybe I needed to dress better, I'm not sure. I was a bit offended. Products are super cute, this was only my second time here.. I guess it'll be my last as well. So sad. By the way, my husband and I went to Kahala store yesterday, we bought something there. We thought the service was wonderful, the lady helping us was welcoming and helpful. Ala Moana, felt a bit discriminating.
