Cute little shop with tasty donuts and biscuits! Came here with my husband on a Friday around 7:45am and we appreciate that they are open earlier than most other spots! We got the maple donut, mochi donut, cheddar biscuit, and a cream filled donut. All of them were tasty!

Stopped here for coffee and doughnut. It's a nice walk from where we were staying. For coffee, my husband got the special- White Mocha Cinnamon. It wasn't anything to rave about. To eat we got the Maple Longjohn and cinnamon doughnut. Then an egg, cheese and tomato pesto egg sandwich. Our favorite doughnuts by far, would definitely go back. Really liked the egg sandwich, it came on a croissant bun which was very flavorful. Our tummy's left happy here! It was nice to sit outside to enjoy our breakfast. The barista was very friendly. He was busy but never seemed flustered or overwhelmed.

I got got by Instagram unfortunately. I came across a video of their Boston cream bismark and I thought "I've gotta have that" and went the very next day to grab one. I was left extremely disappointed. First was the size. This thing was tiny, smaller than a slice of bologna. 2nd was the fact that it was dry, which in most cases you can microwave for a few seconds and it breathes new life into it but just walking out the door eating it, dry. 3rd was the price, this little guy was $5. IMO totally not worth it. And finally, biggest issue....i bought 2.

The donuts were amazing and I would definitely go back for those. The biscuit with butter and jam was also huge and delicious. My partner didn't really think much of his HnH sandwich given the price ($16) and wished he'd gotten a biscuit. Very friendly service and more of a to go ambiance. They appear to be dog friendly for pick up and outdoor seating.

    - hmmmmmm cronut! - I came here at 2:35pm on Friday, and the blinds were down and they were ready to close. The owner was busy talking to his employee, so he didn't greet me. The store was overall quite dark at that time, you can tell they are all ready to go home. Though the store didn't seem so welcoming, the donuts I got here were all delicious, especially the cronut that has a good combination of flakiness (bread part) and creaminess (cream part). I'd definitely be back to try other pastries here!

Excellent coffee but probably the best doughnuts I've ever had. Made It perfection. Highly recommend you swing by and try for yourself.

Half and Half was awesome! I am so glad that I found this donut shop! I had the black and white flavor old fashioned donut as well as the La Canela flavor old fashioned donut. Both flavors were delicious. I am usually not a fan of an old fashioned donut, but these were different, and I am a fan! The donuts were fresh and had a delicious taste and were moist. It is a small shop with a very hipster type of vibe and my wife and I loved it. I definitely recommend half & half for delicious donuts!

Nestled in the heart of Capitol Hill, Half and Half is a small shop that astonishingly manages to sell below-average doughnuts at exorbitant prices. I've had several opportunities to try a variety of them, and came away disappointed each time. The latest pack I got included: Plain Old Fashioned (2/5) - Just fried, and sadly dry, dough with no topping at all. I thought this might be good in a purist sort of way, but... it's not. Don't bother. Pineapple Fritter (1.5/5) - Somehow actually had a decent amount of pineapple, but managed not to taste like pineapple at all. Or taste like anything besides sugar, for that matter. And the dough was pretty tough. Triple Dark Chocolate (4/5) - By far the best one, due to it being coated in a pretty decent chocolate coating. Glazed Donut (1/5) - One of the worst doughnuts I've ever had. I sometimes hear doughnuts described as "light and fluffy" -- well, this is the complete opposite. It felt like eating a loaf of white bread with some glaze on top. These 4 are around $17 total. Based on the premium pricing, you might be expecting premium quality in return, but don't be fooled. Instead, I'd recommend going to any nearby grocery store's bakery for better doughnuts at a fraction of the price.

Amazing doughnuts and fresh made to order breakfast sandwiches and drinks. I ordered way to many doughnuts but I had to try them all! They were all delicious but my favorite was the classic old fashioned. The banana fosters doughnut was also a close second! My two toddler boys, husband, and I devoured our doughnuts before we started exploring the city. It was the perfect start to our day! Happy Eating!

Great espresso, filled donuts and baristas! I bought a dozen bombas for my coworkers and they all asked where they were from because they wanted more!

Amazing doughnut shop with a variety of different types of doughnuts and creative flavors! None of the donuts are too sweet and I love how many of the flavors have complexity. The flavors are not just sweet, they're either sweet and bitter, sweet and sour, or sweet and savory. My favorite items here are definitely the bombas. The size is perfect, not as big of a commitment as a regular filled donut but just enough to be satisfying. The donut is fluffy and tender and there is the perfect ratio of bread to filling. The best filling flavor is the bananas foster, amazing banana flavor complemented by the slightly bitter caramel notes. I also really enjoy the fritters here. They're fluffy and tender like the bombas but have a bit more chew and breadiness. I thought the pineapple fritter was super interesting because I've never seen a pineapple fritter before. The maple pecan fritter was sweet and had a light maple flavor which went really well with the nutty and slightly savory pecans. Overall, everything is pretty good here and I haven't tried anything I didn't like.

I stopped in with my mom early morning on a Thursday after a gym class (it's all about balance) and they had plenty of selection with a line out the door! I'm not a huge donut person (usually opt for a scone or croissant instead), but OMG THESE WERE SO YUMMY!! We got a mounds old fashioned, la canela old fashioned, and a bananas foster bombas. The next day, we came back for an apple butter old fashioned and a bombas of every flavor for the plane! The donuts are such high quality, so fresh, and such delicious flavors (not artificial tasting at all)! The baker was so friendly and gave us some recommendations both times, and we'll definitely be back the next time we're in town! If your cup of coffee is looking for a sweet buddy, look no further!

Half and Half Doughnut Co. is a good place to stop for some good, albeit overtly sweet, doughnuts and coffee. I thought it was a welcoming shop overall, just a little plain; but for a place like this, it kind of adds to the charm, you know? No frills, just fuel. The barista was friendly enough and made a very delicious mocha. I'm not sure if this is a place I'd seek out again, but I sure as hell wouldn't say no. That means something in my book!

They clearly care about their image as they offer a free mug for first-time customers with an email sign-up. The drinks here are ok, but they average between $8-$10 each. I think the pricing is just much too high. You're paying for the vibes, not for a great cup of coffee. The matcha we tried was mediocre. There are so many other great places for coffee in Seattle, for just a fraction of the price. I think Storyville is preying on tourists visiting the market. They probably have to charge that much to keep the 8 employees milling about behind the counter employed. The space does have lots of seating, but it was nearly full during our early afternoon visit. Save your money, find another great local coffee spot!

Very refreshing, and their ceremonial matcha's grassy tones still came out despite the banana puree being just as strong in the drink.
