I've walked by this cute little shop many times. Today I stopped in and got the most delicious cupcake I've ever had. If you want a unique sweet treat, check this place out!

The last location in Seattle. I can't even begin to tell you how addicted I am to the cupcakes. When I have a sweet tooth craving, I immediately order the cupcake with sprinkles. It's so moist and delicious that I order two at a time and I'm not ashamed. Love the customer service and will always come back

Cupcake Royale is my favorite cupcake shop in Seattle! The customer service is great and the clerks are always friendly to me. The atmosphere is very hip but also very casual and is a great place to meet up with a friend. It has a very coffee shop type of vibe. They serve cupcakes, coffee, and more! I have purchased several types of cupcakes from Cupcake Royale. All of them have been delicious. I especially love "the gay" cupcake and the red velvet cupcake. They are very good, tasty, and absolutely delicious. The cupcakes go great with ice cream as well. The cupcakes are a little on the pricey side, but they are a smaller business, not a national corporate chain, and they do produce high quality cupcakes, so the higher prices are to be expected, and well let's face it, it's Seattle and everything is high here. I highly recommend Cupcake Royale if you are looking for some delicious cupcakes!

Pretty solid cupcakes but not as moist as I would prefer. Their icings are good but on the sweeter side. Always have good presentation and wide variety of flavors

A cute little shop with lots of personality. A variety of flavors available, I bought the lavender and red velvet. Lots of cute merch, gifts and cake decor supplies.

How I heard of this place: Cupcakes. Who hasn't heard of this place? Possibly the first cupcake shop in Seattle before the cupcake made a comeback. Type of cuisine: Cupcakes and coffee. Tea is also available, not to mention ice cream, and some other quick grab and go treats. Ambiance: Cafe-style. Dark wooden furniture, a barquette at the window with seating, displays of cups and t-shirts for sale, friendly baristas and colorful cupcakes behind the counter. Very casual and open to long-term seating with laptop or paper at close range. What I ordered: Celebrating a birthday party, we were invited to this location for a choose-your-own-treat gathering. Here, our family selected the Salted Caramel buttercream atop a chocoalte cake cupcake, and the Red Velvet with cream cheese frosting. And the ultimate in dessert perfection, the Tiramisu cupcake. What I loved: The moistness and density of the cake. The cream atop the cupcakes, always uniform, slightly crunchy exterior and smooth interior. Oh yeah. Why I loved it: You always know what to expect - sweetness to perk you up in the mid- to late-afternoon. Cost: Average for today's trendy cupcake frenzy ($3.25 per cupcake)

Cinnamon roll cupcake and royals with cheese on the right

So I live in the bay and I'm use to these boutique style cupcake shops . None of them half as good as these. If you are from the Bay Area you will get these cupcakes that look good but you take a bite and they taste plastic. Now for the actual review after sharing my thoughts on Bay Area cup cakes. The cinnamon roll cup cake tasted like a actual cinnamon roll. The frosting and everything was sweet it was flavorful and incredible. One of my favorite films , pulp fiction will have you asking what you call a quarter pounder with cheese in France , if you know the answer to this in my Samuel L. Jackson voice " you a smart motha fucka" . Royale with cheese was incredible, it was sweet and savory it was chocolately . Idk how to describe the flavors bud the cupcake was fresh , moist and just so good. I don't think ever had a cup cake better I ended up buying more to take to a New Years gathering .

These are the best cupcakes. The price is a little nuts, $11 for 2 cupcakes. The coconut bunny is my favorite. The only issue was that they only had 1 person working. Several people left because it was taking such a long time

Came for the coffee (love Stumptown), threw it in the trash on the way out. Worst cappuccino I've ever tried and the service was rude.

I try not to eat all the icing but it was good. Moist cake but I prefer denser take and less sweet.

I ordered an extra bacon and cheese sandwich on a toasted English muffin, and it was excellent. The muffin was perfectly toasted, the bacon was crisp and flavorful, and the cheese complemented everything really well. It was simple, fresh, and very satisfying to start the morning. The bakery itself has a very pleasant atmosphere. It feels warm, welcoming, and comfortable, making it a great place to sit down and enjoy a quiet breakfast in the city. To finish, I tried a slice of triple coconut cream pie to go, and it was absolutely heavenly. Rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced, it easily stood out as one of the highlights of the visit and something I won't forget anytime soon. Overall, Dahlia Bakery delivered great food, a relaxing atmosphere, and an outstanding dessert. Since I was only in Seattle briefly for business, I'm not sure when I'll be back, but I'm glad I had the chance to experience it.

Cake descriptions on the website but you have to go in for slice and cupcake availability- you can't pre-order slices. The shop is easy to get to with ample close parking. Inside is cute and industrial. The shop folks were lovely as well, really warm and inviting. We selected 4 slices- malted chocolate, blackout cake, funfetti, and carrot pineapple. All the whole cakes were simply decorated, but beautiful. The hubs said his funfetti cake was okay, but not outstanding. I thought it was more of a white butter cake with nice chewy sprinkles. Delicious, but maybe not the explosion he was expecting. A classic birthday cake, elevated. The blackout cake has a really rich flavor without being overwhelming- a more milk chocolate Matilda cake vibe. The carrot pineapple is pretty much a perfect carrot cake- not spice or nut, but CARROT, in the most beautiful way. The buttercream on the carrot cake is the best I can remember having- butter flavor and a smooth, sweet cream taste. But all those accolades aside- the chocolate malt cake is, simply put, the cake I would go back for. The cake itself is a perfect, moist chocolate malt flavor, without an artificial tasting aftertaste. The frosting is if they made the inside of a malted milk chocolate candy into a light, fluffy buttercream, without the cloying sweetness. I am not a huge sweets person, but cake is a special weakness. This may be the best cakery I've been to- and one I will gladly pay for.

When learning they're sold out of the PB&J, I asked the cashier which slice I should get with the options I gave her. She suggested the salted caramel slice. The salted caramel slice was really gross. As if it was or almost foul. The cake had a flavor of acidity and expiration. Maybe thought there was rum or some type of alcohol in the slice, but there isn't. I was happy when they gave an extra caramel slice on the house but after a bite, no thank you. I couldn't finish the bite & it really disappointed us as it was my bf's birthday celebration. The cupcake was quite delicious as it had a nutty texture jam on the inside. Cake was soft, wasn't so sweet and loved the mixture of texture. The seasonal key lime slice was yummy. Super light graham cake flavor, good dense cake. Not so flavorful but it wasn't as disappointing as the other one. The lime flavor was the only star of the slice. After being excited to try this place for months, and after so many attempts at trying this bakery- this may not be a go to spot for me. Avg $11-11.50 per slice
