Our experience with Keyrenter Provo was disappointing. The information on their website and other…read morerental listings (apartments.com, Zillow, etc.) was not consistent with the actual property. The home we toured was advertised as having access to all three floors (including a finished basement) and a large two-car garage, but after viewing it in person and talking with management, we learned only the main and upper floors were included in the rent -- nearly 1,000 sq. ft. less than listed -- and the garage wasn't even accessible due to a curb blocking the entrance. When we asked for clarification, communication was slow and unclear. The rent price also wasn't adjusted to reflect the much smaller space and lack of garage access. On top of that, their pet/ESA approval process was overly complicated and handled through a confusing third-party site, which made the process frustrating and time-consuming. They have many good reviews, so we were surprised and disappointed by our experience. The property itself looked nice, but the inconsistencies between the listings and reality, along with poor communication and lack of transparency, made us decide not to move forward.

    Vision Real Estate

    Vision Real Estate

RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!…read more I would strongly recommend avoiding Vision Real Estate if at all possible. Our experience with Vision Real Estate has been nothing short of a nightmare from the day we moved in. When we arrived at the house at the beginning of August, the AC was completely broken and the temperature inside was close to 90 degrees. I was 8 months pregnant at the time, and moving into a house that hot was miserable. The most unbelievable part is that this clearly had never been checked before move-in. Thankfully our neighbors were kind enough to help us figure out the issue, and we ended up having to purchase a part ourselves just to get the AC running. Trying to get reimbursed from Vision Real Estate for something that never should have been our responsibility in the first place turned into an exhausting and drawn-out process. The condition of the home at move-in was unacceptable. The house was filthy -- dog hair everywhere, thick dust, cobwebs, and a dirty garage. Outside was just as bad. The lawn looked like it hadn't been maintained for weeks, weeds were completely overgrown, and there was dog waste all over the backyard. Inside the home there was so much dog hair throughout the bathrooms, shower, and floors that the shower drain wouldn't even properly drain. When we submitted a maintenance request for the shower not draining, Vision Real Estate charged us $175 even though the hair was clearly left from the previous tenant and the property had not been cleaned well or inspected before we moved in. Being charged for something that existed before we even moved in is completely unacceptable and shows how little accountability this company takes for the condition of their properties. The issues didn't stop there. Their online portal was down when we applied, which resulted in us being charged twice. Getting our money back took far longer than it should have and required constant follow-ups on our end. Vision Real Estate has no problem nickel-and-diming tenants for every possible fee, but they take zero accountability for their own mistakes. If you submit a maintenance request, you're given an 8am-4pm window. If you need to reschedule, they charge you $25. Because of this, we've taken entire days off work just to make sure we're available. On one occasion we did exactly that -- only for no one to show up and we didn't even receive a phone call or update. That meant losing a full day of work for nothing and having to start the process all over again. At this point we have spent hundreds of dollars out of our own pocket fixing issues that should have been handled before we ever moved in. We ended up hiring a professional cleaning company on our end because it was still so dirty. I ended up filling up 3 small grocery bags full of dog hair the second day of living here! The lack of professionalism, organization, and accountability from Vision Real Estate is unbelievable. It genuinely feels like once they have your lease signed, they simply do not care about the condition of the property or the experience of their tenants. Renters deserve better than this. I truly wish I had read reviews like this before signing a lease with Vision Real Estate. Save yourself the stress, time, and money and look elsewhere.

It is impossible to reach a person. There are no return phone calls, no return emails. They are completely ghosting me. Kelli McCullough mishandled my exit and deposit return. Then she stopped responding. It took a few months to discover she was no longer with the company. I finally heard from Richard Brimhall, my original contact for leasing the property and he was very proactive and communicative. We discussed the deposit discrepancy and he strongly implied he was handling things. He then ghosted me. I have been sending emails every few weeks for months. Dana was a little hard to get a hold of however. Email worked better than phone if I recall. What's a little weird to me is that they email you 6 months before your lease ends asking to either re-sign or not. If you don't then they tell you that they will show the place. Found out they had a couple of homes in Orem. So I went with them to avoid applying else where. They transition was very smooth. One of there places in Orem is very outdated however. We've had probably a dozen maintence request in under a year. I do like there online system where you can submit tickets and pay your rent. Give them a try for yourself.

Paragraph 7.1 of the lease charges $20 a month, non-refundable, for what the contract describes as…read more"periodic inspections, carpet and/or blind cleaning, furnace filters, and upholstery cleaning." Our unit has no carpet. The blinds were falling apart at move-in and have not been cleaned. The furnace filter has never been replaced. Three of the four services the contract names are either impossible, not provided, or not happening. The same fee is defined elsewhere in the lease (paragraphs 2 and 7) as retained from the security deposit you paid at signing. At renewal time, Aspen Ridge billed it again as a new ledger charge, with descriptions referencing the current lease year. $290 in charges for services already paid for and largely undelivered. A/C use is also restricted at the landlord's discretion regardless of indoor temperature. Raising any of this with the leasing office is its own experience. Audren and Martha answer the phone swinging -- combative before they know what the call is about, and unprofessional throughout. Whatever the dispute is, expect the conversation to be hostile. If you sign here, photograph the unit on day one, request written confirmation each time a contractual maintenance service is performed, and check every line on the ledger against the paragraph that authorizes it. The contract is dense and the burden of enforcing it sits entirely on the tenant.

The unit was THRASHED when we moved in from previous tenants and he promised to paint walls, and even redo the nasty stained linoleum flooring, he made many promises that were never fulfilled. Our upstairs neighbors who had been there for about 5 years even moved out specifically because of Bobby's lack of professionalism as a landlord of his own property units. We were smart enough to do the check in list and take before pictures of the damages that were present when we moved in. We moved out 3 months ago and spent 5 days cleaning the unit after moving. At the time of check out, Cathy came in and treated my husband like absolute scum. She talked down to him insulted him, was absolutely disrespectful. We have been waiting to receive some of the deposit back (which.is obviously why we worked so hard cleaning, scrubbing walls, floors, carpets cupboards, etc. but knew that there were a few things that would be deducted from the deposit) and just today, 3 months later, we find out that bobby completely remodeled the apartment and used our 1,000.00 deposit to do so. Maintenance requests took weeks of reminding bobby and most of the time were never conducted. Key tip for future tenants: be mindful whether or not your moving into a property that is just managed by cathy and bobby Orehoski, or is it one the bobby himself owns, take pictures and make copies of your check in list, you'll probably need it.

After Redstone took over management of my building in January 2026, there was a noticeable decline in operational quality and tenant confidence. Communication often felt reactive rather than informed or proactive, and residents frequently had to follow up on timelines, procedures, and compliance-related questions themselves. Concerns included: inconsistent and sometimes confusing communication regarding lease matters, poor follow-through and limited proactive updates, decline in property upkeep and common-area cleanliness, delayed or unclear responses around move-out procedures, and an overall sense of organizational disorganization and understaffing. What frustrated me most was not one isolated issue, but the cumulative erosion of trust over time. Housing is more than a transaction -- it is people's homes. When management appears unfamiliar with local regulations, inconsistent in communication, and unable to maintain confidence in basic operational processes, it creates unnecessary stress and uncertainty for tenants. To be fair, some staff members seemed overwhelmed and undertrained rather than intentionally unhelpful, and my deposit was ultimately confirmed for full refund. However, the broader experience left me with the impression that Redstone expanded into the Seattle market without sufficient systems, staffing, or local operational knowledge in place. I ultimately chose to leave not because I no longer loved my apartment, but because I no longer trusted the management structure surrounding it.
