Very dressed somewhat soggy petite Caesar

At the least for takeout / room service this was pretty terrible. Pros: Attached to the hotel (embassy suites grapevine north) Can order from your room Portions were reasonably sized but pricey for the quality Cons: Food was extremely salty! The chicken pasta had chicken that was so heavily salted it reminded me of lunch meat. Caesar salad was also very salty and heavily dressed. If you're expecting the salad to be the light part of your meal , it won't be. Service was bizarre. They texted to let me know they attempted delivery to my room a bunch of times but I wasn't there. Unless the food was ready 5 minutes after I called, I was sitting right in that living room area of my suite for a good 20-30 minutes waiting for the food and never heard a knock or so much as a whisper at the door (and I let them know this). By the time the food arrived it was also not at temperature. Seemed more like someone forgot the order and made up an unlikely story making it the guests fault instead.

"Come back, baby I want to play house with you" (Elvis Presley) Hallford's Restaurant and Bar is the "House" restaurant inside Grapevine's Embassy Suite Hotel. A group of ten of us had dinner and drinks here at the start of our convention, and my wife and I just had our last dinner here in Grapevine before we fly home tomorrow. The bartender is one of the hardest working restaurant workers I have ever seen. He single handedly tended bar, took food orders from the dining room, delivered the food to the tables, and dropped off and picked up the checks with a smile, funny banter, and extreme professionalism. Honestly, the guy was incredible. Over my two visits, I had a bowl of tomato soup, a Garden Salad, and a Side Caesar. The soup was terrific- served blazing hot with two pieces of cheesy bread toasts. The dinner salad was as large as a hubcap, so I bore that in mind when I order the Side Caesar tonight. Even that was big, so I split it with my wife. The bar was hopping on both nights, and again, I don't know how that gent managed to accommodate everyone, but he did.

    Side Caesar salad is huge!

Halford's is the restaurant and bar located inside the Embassy Suites near Grapevine. I was worried when I first walked into the hotel and realized this was the restaurant and it wasn't a Ruth's Chris. I was very pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is not very big but they do have plenty of seating for both small and large groups. The menu isn't vast, but the food is prepped well. I tried the chicken quesadilla, Caesar salad and some fries. I liked everything and definitely ordered too much for myself! Was sipping on the Mosaic IPA which was also tasty. Service was prompt and thorough. Would go again.

Nice place for drinks and snacks. A little pricey but the service is great. Friendly people

This restaurant is located in the Embassy Suites. Food was amazing! We are there for lunch or dinner most days.

I visited Texan Station Sports Bar & Grill twice during my stay at the Gaylord Texan Resort &…read moreConvention Center. The first time was for takeout and the second time was to dine in. Texan Station Sports Bar & Grill has a 52-foot flat-panel TV and other wall TVs which makes it a popular gathering spot for sports enthusiasts. The menu consists of a wide selection of draft beers, wine and cocktails along with scrumptious bar bites. It is very spacious inside and there are plenty of tables. I've had the turkey stack which has turkey, Swiss cheese, avocado smash, lettuce, tomato, Italian vinaigrette, garlic mayo on sourdough bread and served with kettle chips. The sandwich was very filling and tasty. The to go menu is more limited than the dine-in menu. I ordered the grapevine burger with fries and the wings. The grapevine burger has one beef patty, American cheese, iceberg lettuce, tomato, dill pickles, comeback sauce on a brioche bun. The burger was very juicy. I really liked the fries because they were seasoned and crispy. I chose garlic parmesan for the wings and it was served with celery and carrots. Food was ready in no time. Texan Station Sports Bar & Grill is a great choice if you staying on the property. Service was friendly and attentive.

The restaurant is very large and open. It has lots of little TVs with one large screen on one wall. Unfortunately a large strip in the middle of the screen was broken which made it fun to watch the World Cup. To drink my husband had the barrel aged old-fashioned and I ordered the pickletini. The old-fashioned was decent but not balanced at all. I was very disappointing and disgusting. I attend several Pickle festivals each year including the World's Largest Pickle Party and help run a few and this drink does a disservice to pickles and pickle lovers everywhere. Other than the pickle garnish, there was NO flavor of pickle anywhere. It was straight kettle one and what tasted like straight vermouth. (Read on to find out why I didn't/couldn't send it back) For appetizers we ordered the buffalo wings and the fried pickles. These were ordered the same time as we ordered our drinks and came out with our cocktails. The wings were standard bar buffalo wings. The fried pickles needed to be dried before being breaded as the breading slid right off of them. They also lacked seasoning. We were unable to order main courses or get my drink replaced as our server never came back to the table. We flagged down 3 other servers who said they would get our server or someone to help but after 45 minutes we got sick of getting the runaround and paid our bill and left. If I were you, I would avoid this sports bar unless you were looking for a standard beer and just some overpriced basic appetizers

It definitely blows typical bar food out of the water; it's evident that the owners have restaurant and service industry experience because every little detail has been thought of. They even make their sauces in house!! The juicy thick hotdog - could not get enough. The parmesan French fries - devoured. The tasty, cheesy burger rivaled any other gourmet burger joint. The place is a great time for people of all ages. There's plenty of seating. The sports are playing, and they encourage people to socialize, chat, and play games. What's better than cold drinks, great food, and fun times with friends? My friends and I will definitely be back!

They do let you know that there is an automatic 20% tip added to your tab up front, which you can add too if checking out using the link they text you. The special thing is they have a wall where you pick your own beer, cider and wine(?) that you activate with your wristband and are charged per ounce. I love the drink concept because it allows for folks to try a little bit of various options ... which they do have a number of local options on their wall. This is what I would return for, and bring friends to tet before we end up at another activity. Food wise: got a smash burger which came with fries, which if I order it again I'd probably change cheeses and ask for some pepper to season the fries a bit more ... all personal preferences... but was ok for something to eat to off set the two drinks I had while there. I also got some tacos to go for my husband. Again personal preference, he would have liked more seasoning/spice on the actual meat of the taco vs being as reliant on the salsa. So, on our next visit we might just stick with shareables/apps with our drinks.

We ordered a variety of dishes including dahi poori, vegetable pakora, paneer chili, gobi Manchurian, veg chili momo, paneer tikka masala, malai kofta, chow mein, and a naan bread basket. The appetizers were better than the North Indian dishes. The paneer tikka masala and malai kofta were on the sweeter side despite us ordering them medium spicy. The kofta balls were also on the smaller side, and the paneer tikka masala had very few pieces of paneer. The chow mein was the star of the meal. It was flavorful and definitely my favorite dish. For the pakora, they only gave a small amount of green chutney, so we had to ask for more along with some tamarind chutney. There's parking behind the restaurant, which was convenient. If you're in the mood for chaat or North Indian food, I would probably choose a different restaurant.
