Watch out for this dealer. They don't follow through with promises made unless you contact Hyundai consumer affairs.

I cannot recommend Rogers Dabbs Chevrolet Service based on my experience…read more My truck was towed to their dealership for what was initially diagnosed as a failed turbocharger. Over several weeks, I received multiple completion dates that were missed, and communication was inconsistent. I often had to call or stop by for updates, and missed calls rarely included voicemails. My biggest concern was the number of contradictions in the diagnosis and timeline. The issue began as a turbocharger failure, then became an oil-filled charge air cooler, followed by a reported diesel runaway event and potential catastrophic engine damage. Weeks into the repair, management claimed the truck arrived over 8 quarts low on oil, despite service documentation showing the oil level and condition inspection as passed. I understand dealerships are businesses and need to make a profit. I have no problem paying for legitimate repairs. However, when events are later described in ways that appear inconsistent with previous communications and the dealership's own documentation, it raises serious concerns about the integrity of the service department and confidence in the diagnosis. By the time I removed my vehicle, I had spent more than $7,000 and still had to have the truck towed away unrepaired. The vehicle left with significant engine concerns that were not part of the original diagnosis when it arrived. To be fair, most of the staff I interacted with were friendly, courteous, and professional. My dissatisfaction is not with their attitudes, but with the handling of the repair, the lack of communication, and the conflicting explanations surrounding my vehicle's condition. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage customers to keep detailed records of all communications, diagnoses, and repair authorizations when dealing with this service department.

The next day I got a phone call from my salesman Charles and we got the car ordered I wanted. When I felt better I went to the dealership and met Charles Webster. He was awesome!! The car was exactly what I had wanted but the previous owner had smoked in it. I was hesitant to buy it but thought I could get the smell out. I could NOT. Two days later, Charles helped me to find the exact same car with no smoke smell and I was able to exchange it within a week. He was kind, patient and above all went the extra mile!! I will buy my next car from CarMax and Charles!!

After a few weeks car is at lot -- however we can't purchase because the car was transported without a title. We trusted that the pictures we saw were accurate and we told them we would wait for the title to come in from Georgia. After three to four weeks we went over -- the car had much more damage than shown. So much so that they agreed to put the car in the shop to correct all of the damage. That night we did our own Carfax and found out that the car had been in a wreck (Carmax said the car had never been in an accident). Do not waste your time. We had 45 days to use our loan -- during this process we lost the loan because of waiting around for them. They are not honest and I will never suggest that anyone use Carmax. Complete scam, and they don't care at all.

The following day, I went to the dealership, where I met Raven. She gave me a big hug (knowing I lived out of state) and told me they will do whatever they can to help me. She knew I just wanted to get home. Raven introduced me to Toshia, whom I believe is the best sales associate ever. She knew I was anxious, stressed and just wanted to get back to my home state. After looking at many vehicles, I decided to purchase a 2024 Grand Highlander. I knew it had gotten a ding on the door at the dealership. She spoke with a manager, decided I could take car and bring back at my convenience to have door fixed and hitch added , which I did. Zach, General Manager, gave me a lender car, at no cost. This was a very generous thing to do. He and Toshia also called/texted to give me updates on my vehicle. I called to let them know when I would be traveling back through MS. Zach told me he would try it ready for me, which he did. When we picked up the car, Zach had it squeaky clean and full of gas! It had no ding and a hitch added! I say all of this to say, Raven, Toshia and Zach took care of me. They were each very kind and sweet. Their concern was the client. Everyone that I interacted with was nice and put the client first. Thank you Gray-Daniels Toyota!

However, I have recently been disappointed with Gray Daniels Toyota and me, and my family members will never purchase another vehicle from them. I had an issue with my Scion ia that I went into the dealership to be diagnosed. I was told that they did not see an issue, and in if I continued to have issues with the car I might want to take to the Mazda dealership. I thought that Gray Daniel Toyota backs up repairs for vehicles purchased from them and not try to push you off on another dealership. Shortly afterward the vehicle stopped on me twice on the interstate and had to be towed. I ended up seeking another mechanic who diagnosed the problem but couldn't get the issue resolved due to the car having Mazda parts. The car had to be towed back to Gray Daniels Dealership where I started. They didn't care that I had to pay another mechanic because they failed to diagnose the issue when I was there. I had to rent a car and pay the other mechanic. They acted as if I created this problem, of a car that I purchased from them with Mazda parts in a Toyota body. I am a senior citizen I felt as if I was taken advantage of, it was one thing after another. I ended up with a total of $2000 before that issue was resolved. However; I left the dealership with my ac broken which I was told ,it appears that I need a compressor not 100 percent sure because they could not complete the revap to know for sure. which would cost me an additional $2,000.
