Gyro bowl minus a few ingredients
    Zack S.

This place is super cool! They have lots of seating all around. A full bar and a variety of restaurants to choose from. We always thought this place was like a sports bar but when we came inside we were shocked to see it be completely different. There are about 5 different places to choose from to eat. I went to the place and got a gyro bowl. My wife went to skinny fats. The gyro bowl with lamb meat was delicious! It was my first time and the lady helped me understand how it all worked. Also answered all my questions about the meat portion weight and ingredients in a few times. Would up getting a gyro brown with lamb and extra meat and it hit the spot! I did leave out a few ingredients but it was worth every bite! I will be back!

Tried out HallPass food hall and they have a good variety of restaurants. This food hall has a rotating set of restaurants that bring different dining options including seafood, chicken sandwiches, rice bowls, Greek food, BBQ and much more to satisfy all taste buds! The food hall was very festive and well-decorated for the Christmas holiday and very usually appetizing. Great place to grab a quick bite!

We decided to make a pit stop in Salt Lake City for lunch and HallPass sounded like it had lots of options. We were a bit leery that we were walking into a mall food court but were pleasantly surprised by the food options and quality. The hall looks like a lot of the newer food court options popping up in major cities. Different restaurants all housed in one location with plenty of seating and a large bar area. What really won us over was that the food was really deliciously good. So much so that a couple of our friends bought more to go for dinner. We ordered at SkinnyFATS and Hog and Tradition BBQ. The Balsamic Bleu salad with grilled chicken, poke bowl, brisket and Cuban sandwich were delicious! A friend ordered the peach cobbler and it was amazing. Service was good, with an order and pick up you are kindof on your own but everyone at each of the restaurants were helpful and friendly. Glad we stopped by!

I always love food halls, because they always have such diverse food choices. There were so many nice places to choose from at HallPass, but I decided to get the gyro which was $13 and came with the gyro as well as a side of rice. I thought the gyro was pretty good and the size was great for being $13. I do wish the gyro was a little warmer. The rice was also good and I loved the lemon touch. I also ordered the Strawberry Dreams drink which was coconut rum, strawberries, coco loco house mix, lemon juice, and berry mix. I was expecting it to be bigger, but given the price, not too bad. I thought the cocktail was great; I do wish it was sweeter, as it was more on the tart side than I thought it would be. Overall, great experience at Hallpass; loved the ambiance and they even had a DJ playing when we went. The service was slow for the drinks, but food came out quickly.

Good tunes, good seating, good food. Came here on a Friday night, right before the final Jazz game of the season. It was pretty packed but still manageable, made for a fun start to our game night. Came to "Lamb and Feta" - obviously Mediterranean. I got the bowl with lamb and chicken. Just an fyi, the bowl is large and contains LOTS of meat. I'm never complaining about that. Also has tomatoes, pepperccinis lettuce, rice. I saw someone with chicken and waffles and it looked good. Will order that next time.

Love a good food hall with a solid blend of different food / drink styles for patrons. It's nice to be able to go to a spot that offers something for everyone while still being able to sit together to enjoy it all! They have a solid variety of options to choose from and a full bar on the front side as well. We arrived right before everything officially opened for the day, so we didn't need to wait in any lines and food / drinks were quick to come up after being ordered from our respective selections. Price points for the various locations are reasonable! Overall: A Great spot to get a good mix of options for your group and still enjoy a fun location with a full bar!

Food was delicious, service and staff were great and the ambiance was fun and upbeat with a lot of different food options to choose from! We went on a Sunday around 1pm, and found that most places were out of a lot of their popular meats/meals (we had only steak because they were out of chicken for the kabobs), kind of a bummer but the meal was still insanely delicious and well worth it!!

Fun ambience . We came during lunch on a Saturday and not all the options were open. We ordered fish and chips, and it took a little long but they were apologetic. Seemed like they were short staffed. The food was good, really enjoyed the garlic Parmesan tater tots.

I feel like this is just a good place to go when you have a group of people who cant decide on one restaurant. With having 5 or 6 restaurants and a bar. There is plenty of options for people. I will say it can be crowded and depending on how busy it is, food and or drinks can take some time. Obviously some restaurants might be faster or slower than others depending on other customers. Other than that, the bar had tons of options for drinks and the food i had was very good and was a good amount for me and my girlfriend to share. Would definitely want to go back to try the other food options.

First time visiting Hall Pass and The Gateway. Cute area and love the food hall concept. Ate at Hog BBQ and Lobster. We were pleased with the food. Lots of seating, inside and out. TVs for those who can't dine with it. Drink refill stations. I'd return.

How could you not enjoy it?! There's food options for everybody! The truffle fries I got was to die for. The atmosphere is fun and different -- a big circle with tons of food options. Food is generally served quickly. Had a ton of fun going here.

As we poked our heads out from underground like groundhogs, we saw we were in the middle of a giant indoor/outdoor mall. We explored the mall and really enjoyed the naturally lit indoor spaces with wide walkways and nice artificial water features. We ended up spending about 3 hours here visiting stores we've never seen back in AZ. There's 4 different wings and most wings have shops on two floors. They have a large food court with the restaurants spaced where you can easily walk between. There was also plenty of seating indoors and outdoors! They didn't tell me it was a carry-out location with only limited outdoor seating...so I was surprised when we got there. They have about 6 metal tables with bench chairs on their semi-covered patio. We ordered our meals on the kiosk outside the pick up window. We got a mix of chicken strips (one mild, one medium, one hot) and a hot sandwich. We each got French fries and a drink as well. The chicken looked great...larger pieces with ample breading and spice. I enjoyed my strips and medium heat was just right where my tongue was burning but didn't wreck my stomach. However, both my boys struggled with their hot chicken. My youngest couldn't finish his meal but my oldest soldiered on and finish but he was hurting the next 24hrs. The fries were the lowlight of the meal...minimal flavor and not too soft in the middle. I basically used mine as a heat sink in my mouth. The staff was amazing as we kept needing refills on drinks and water, and they walked it out to us on a tray several times. I can see this place being a popular grab and go or food delivery service spot. We were happy they had the walk-up ordering as well so we could experience it. Thanks Pretty Bird!

After ordering your drinks, soup base, and meats (vegetarians get a cheaper option), you can get right to the veg/seafood buffet. They have a great sauce station and a big wall of different kinds of popular ramen packs to use if desired. Once you get settled, you can keep ordering the meats you like until you get full. The corn cheese was pretty good actually, but the korean fried chicken was hecka dense. The meat wasn't dense, but the starchy layer on the exterior was really stiff. Didn't taste like the other korean fried chickens I've had. The mushroom beef was really salty.. and the beef itself was really tough. Next, I feel like the selection here is pretty small. There's not a lot to choose from at the bar area, though I admit that I am pretty impressed by their ramyun collection. Their crabs were literally minuscle, and I find it extraneous that they serve their noodles in bits. Yeah, you read it right: bits. They cut up their noodles, probably because it is easier to pick up with the tongs. But, is it even noodles at that point? The staff was pretty lethargic today, even though it wasn't busy at all. Took me a while to get their attention for more meats. They do have some great meat, but in my opinion, it really is a hit or miss. Stray away from the meats that start with "MR. SHABU", because they're not the best. The ones I've had were too lean or sometimes tough. However, I think the cleanliness of this place is on point: shiny tables shiny counters, and dry floors.
