As promised from my previous review, I came back for the Halo Halo. The place was fairly busy. I ordered the halo halo. It has tropical either jarred or can fruits with syrup. Sweet beans assorted types. Then it was layered with shave ice. I think she added milk or coconut milk and a little sweetened condensed milk. Sprinkles of crunchy topping, corn, flan and topped with Ube ice cream. I'm sure I might have missed some other key ingredients. But I tell you, it was so refreshing and delicious to consume. I wouldn't recommend trying to eat this in the car. It can become messy. Better to consume it there. I also bought a bag of these addicting salt and vinegar chicharron. Yummy! read more

There are a lot of things to get, they have some ready to eat foods that are very comforting. We were craving some Filipino food today and was recommended this place! I'm usually certain picky on Filipino restaurants as they tend to be overpriced for mediocre food. NOT THIS PLACE!!! The food was great.. it's a mix of your traditional Filipino dishes plus some unique dishes like sisig fries, bagoong fried rice and other fusions! Although the fusion dishes seemed tempting, we ended up getting sisig & lechon kawali. I love sisig but every restaurant I've tried it in would cook it differently and toss in chicharon or ground pork, however, this place uses the traditional ingredients (pork ears, nose, etc.). I was afraid I wasn't going to be much of a fan of it but it comes out on a hot stone and makes it super crunchy.. and surprisingly-- it was seasoned so well!!! Lechon kawali was seasoned well and the meat wasn't chewy but wish it had more of a crunch. We also got some yummy Filipino snackies (candy/chips), turon (highly recommend as it's one of the few places that includes jackfruit!!!) and pichi pichi. I wasn't a fan of the pichi pichi.. I think maybe if I would have heated it first, I may have liked it more as it was a little dense and the coconut shavings did not give it any justice. I'd love to come back!!!!! read more

The chicken adobo is thee worst I've ever tasted. It was literally watered down like they tried to stretch the food. There is absolutely no flavor. I would definitely not recommend eating here. great spot if you're looking for a variety of authentic filipino dishes! the breakfast is served all day, and there's an extensive selection of different "silog" options. i am partial to bangus so i opted for the bangsilog for brunch. the sawsawan (vinegar sauce) was seasoned well, and the garlic fried rice paired perfectly with the two overeasy eggs! we asked for a small serving of sinigang and they ended up giving us two small cups for free to sip on and man that stuff is good! it was delightfully sour and hearty, you can tell that it was a family recipe and they don't skimp out on the sinigang flavor. the lechon kawali was crispy, although it was sitting out for a little bit, so i am sure it was even better fresh. there was a little bit of a wait in line, but the food comes out quick! limited seating, but great service and of course the TVs are playing filipino classic gameshows. i feel transported back home. i will definitely be coming back! read more

This is my first time here and first time for Filipino food. I entered the restaurant and was greeted and then confused what I had to do. I just got in line and tried to figure it out. They have multiple spots to order food, of course they had new people so we were both confused. Hahaha. It is like a Ikea's cafeteria style type of set up. Then when I got to the main section, it was confusing since the names did not match what was in the serving trays: I got the two entrees (Beef with mushrooms - I think and pancit) and two scoops of rice. The lechon kawali was tasty but a little too hard (not crunchy, hard). The egg rolls were freshly fried so they were good. I really missed the (turo-turo/lutong bahay) homecook style and we're lucky to found this. since i'm a filipina living here in Arizona, the Dinuguan was great, it really taste like dinuguan from karinderya (cafeteria) and the adobo was a bit alright. The Halo-Halo special was really special, (i just wish you put a corn and banana) but inflation so i get it. for the price with ube ice cream and leche flan was great. unfortunately they don't have fountain drinks, but they gave free waters.
