    Tocino(Cured Pork) All Day Breakfast

Best All Day Breakfast! Must have comfort food! First Time Customer Via Uber Eats First Impressions Where are you going to get an all day breakfast deal for $10.50 in Phoenix? Portion size? Good. Bang for your buck? You betcha'! Buy more than one combo to save for work or dinner. I've been to Jeepney Grill in Mesa. They are located in Mekong Plaza across from H Mart. If you are looking for food that will fill your stomach, then filipino food is a great choice.

The chicken adobo is thee worst I've ever tasted. It was literally watered down like they tried to stretch the food. There is absolutely no flavor. I would definitely not recommend eating here. It looks authentic but definitely doesn't taste anything like adobo. Just chicken and water, not even an ounce of vinegar. If i didn't live so far I would definitely take this back and tell her to taste it when she goes to say it taste good.

great spot if you're looking for a variety of authentic filipino dishes! the breakfast is served all day, and there's an extensive selection of different "silog" options. i am partial to bangus so i opted for the bangsilog for brunch. the sawsawan (vinegar sauce) was seasoned well, and the garlic fried rice paired perfectly with the two overeasy eggs! we asked for a small serving of sinigang and they ended up giving us two small cups for free to sip on and man that stuff is good! it was delightfully sour and hearty, you can tell that it was a family recipe and they don't skimp out on the sinigang flavor. the lechon kawali was crispy, although it was sitting out for a little bit, so i am sure it was even better fresh. there was a little bit of a wait in line, but the food comes out quick! limited seating, but great service and of course the TVs are playing filipino classic gameshows. i feel transported back home. i will definitely be coming back!

This is a little hole in the wall restaurant but it is authentic, delicious Filipino food. The service is fast and they are very friendly! I thought it was very helpful that they let you sample anything before you buy it! This is a must try and we will definitely be back. Yummmy!

Food was 10/10. We tried a lot of a lot of things hahahah. Coming from Seattle and being Filipina lol it was pretty on par with other Filipino food I've gotten. It's not greasy which I like and I like that it's a La carte because I came hungry. Service was wonderful. We felt like we ate at someone's home - it was very friendly. Ambiance was good. At 4pm on a Sunday this was probably the most poppin place in the plaza!

Food was amazing, service was out of this world and the vibe is there. Definitely a must check out if you are looking to try something new.

Pork dinuguan and chicken adobo were so good, but the turon was just okay. They loaded me up on rice too, which was nice.

The space is on the smaller side and there were two large groups. We were quoted 30-40 minutes but thankfully it only ended up being about a 10 minute wait. We ordered the lumpia/pancit plate, lechon, sisig, and bbq pork. We crushed this meal! We were so full by the end but everything was so good it was hard to stop eating. My favorite was the sisig and pancit, and the lumpia was addictive as well. The lechon was good even though there were a couple tougher pieces. The bbq pork was excellent as well, perhaps a tiny bit tough, but the sauce and char of the meat was perfect. The food came out pretty quickly and the service was great. I can't wait to be back!

Food was delicious and filling. I've been to the old (now closed) phoenix location, so I am happy the new location is open and in an area I frequent, which makes it easier to visit! 10/10 recommend! There's also a cute small sari-sari store inside!

I was so glad they made it out again as I had a great experience the last time. I waited about 30 minutes between standing in line to picking up my order. It was reasonable given the large crowd at this event. Their menu was slightly different than what I remembered on my first visit but nonetheless, I ended up ordering the pork adobe plate and lumpias. Now, they offered 2 versions of the pork adobe this time around - the plate and bowl with the plate being a dollar more. When I ordered the pork adobe plate last time, it came in a standard to-go box with the pork, rice, and 2 or 3 lumpias. What I received this time was their bowl and no additional lumpias beyond what I ordered separately (9 mini lumpias). I was confused when I received my order but I wasn't going to make a big deal over a dollar difference. The staff here was great and helped me pack my lumpia order into a box when I told them that I was going to take everything home to eat instead of at the event. Many of their items were served in small paper trays so this was very much appreciated for them to be able to help me bring everything home easier. The pork adobe was exactly as I remembered last time; absolutely delicious and tender. Sadly, I had a big bay leaf in my order and accidently started to eat it as I didn't see it. That was a not so nice surprise. The lumpias were really miniature but packed a lot of great flavor. If I can buy them on a regular basis, I would happily do so. I hope I can run into them again soon!

Calamansi juice is a rare sight so I was excited to try it. Instead, I got a 8.4 oz grocery can where calamansi isn't even the main ingredient. Even worse, it was at room temperature when the weather was hot. The BBQ skewer was cold and thus not very enjoyable. At least the lumpia was warm and crispy. I was supposed to get 9 but I really got 8.5 since one of the lumpias was half the size of the others. Overall, I had better value for food at other food trucks.

I had family visiting and they were craving halo halo on their last night here, so I found Backstreet Asia and drove them out here. We ordered the calamari first while waiting for dessert, but it was too salty. I had also ordered myself an ube ice cream while the other 3 got one halo halo for themselves -- all of which took a long time to come out, and we had to remind the servers twice about my ice cream. There weren't many other customers when we were there either. The ube ice cream ended up being 1 very small, stingy scoop, and my family was super disappointed when the halo halo arrived. It wasn't sweet at all and lacked many typical halo halo ingredients (the menu hadn't listed the ingredients so we assumed it would be there). When we asked for something to sweeten it like condensed milk, they said they didn't have it and only had syrup, which I found strange. We also had an uncomfortable interaction with the server too. In the end we brought the halo halo back home and added some of our own leche flan, buko pandan, and evaporated milk. It was disappointing we had to pay what we did for the taste we got. Maybe their other dishes are good, and I do think it's neat that they have a little setup for their occasional karaoke nights, but our experience with our orders and service were 2 stars
