Arrived for a late breakfast early lunch. We were greeted and seated immediately. They offer both tables or booth seating. Our server was amazing. She was very friendly and definitely showed us the Aloha spirit. She checked in with us several times to ensure we were happy with our food and service. The Haupia cake was very light and ono. My teriyaki steak was cooked perfectly. The macaroni salad reminded me of Hawaii. Service and food here is very consistent and never disappoints. You really must give Zippys a try. Make sure you stop at their bakery and take home some island favorites. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

This hit the spot for some great Hawaiian grub! I love coming to Zippy's in Hawaii. I'm so happy there's a location not too far from me. I ordered on the app for us to pick it up and eat there at their tables. All of the tables were clean. The service is always very friendly and they have a nice aloha spirit. The dessert case always looks so delicious but they do sell out quick of their popular desserts. We ordered the KFC and chili combo and the teriyaki beef plate. Everything was yummy! I love how it has so much flavor in each bite. It comes with rice and macaroni salad that wasn't too creamy that I love. You can't go wrong with the Korean fried chicken for sure. The beef had a lot of sauce and some cabbage. Can't wait to come back!

I was really excited to try this place after hearing a lot about it, so I was curious going in. First, the atmosphere. There's plenty of parking and the space inside is quite large with lots of seating. It would definitely be good for accommodating big groups. The place is bright, open, and clean. From the entrance, the dining area is on the right side, and I believe the left side is for takeout orders. I already browsed ahead of time to decide what to order and went with the fried chicken. The portion was huge! It is definitely more than enough for one person, and in hindsight, we probably should have shared since everyone in our group (including kids) ordered their own dish. As for the taste, it was a bit underwhelming for me. Even the macaroni salad felt pretty plain. I'm not sure if my expectations were too high going in, but I felt like the food could have used more seasoning. That said, everyone else in my group seemed to enjoy their meals. I might come back again in the future and try something different next time.

I've heard so much about Zippy's so I was super excited to try it. I understand why people love it! We went here after a 4hr road trip and were ready to eat! They have a great selection of food and baked goods. Our group ordered several items including ox tail soup, miso salmon plate, Korean chicken plate, mixed plate + ube ensamada. Everything was delicious! Happy eating! (We were so hungry that I forgot to take pics of the food before we inhaled it!)

On this visit, we decided to try something different and ordered through the app and ate on the take out counter side. As a family with younger kids, waiting for a table isn't always realistic, so doing this turned out to be a great option. Ordering through the app was easy and convenient, and our food came out hot and ready without a long wait -- exactly what parents need when kids are already hungry. We ordered a little bit of everything: the Zip Pac, Chicken Katsu, the April Deal Korean Fried Chicken chili mixed plate, and of course spaghetti. Everything tasted exactly how you hope Zippy's will taste -- hot, comforting, and consistent. No complaints from anyone at the table, which honestly says a lot when feeding a large family. Every plate was cleaned by the end of the meal, always the best sign of a successful dinner. If you're dining with kids or just don't want to wait for a table, the take-out counter seating is a solid move. Same great Zippy's flavors, just faster and easier. We'll definitely be doing it this way again!

We decided to try dining in at this Zippy's location since we had a great experience at their Henderson location. The dining room was not too busy around 5:30pm, and the interior was bright and clean. Our server was very friendly but seemed very overworked. There seemed to be only two servers for the whole dining room. As a result, items were forgotten and drinks were not proactively refilled. She never asked for our Zippy's rewards information, and after we reminded her she said she would "try" to get the manager to add the points (which never happened). The food was very good! I had the chili moco which is quite hearty and features two eggs and two beef patties over rice and covered with chili. It also features a side of macaroni salad. Very tasty and very filling! I can never finish all the rice. We got the "complete meal" option which adds a soup or salad, a Hawaiian roll, a soft drink, and a dessert for about $11 additional. The salad was crisp and fresh, but I wish they had more dressing options than creamy Asian and ranch. The roll was a classic King's Hawaiian sweet roll. For dessert I had the dobosh cake which was great! A wonderfully moist yet light chocolate cake. Overall this was great food, but they do need to work a bit on the service.

It was my first time here. I came with family and met up with an aunt & uncle who are "regulars" and they recommended this place. We were a party of 14 and they originally said that it'll be a 45 minute wait, but they were able to seat us within 10 minutes! Unfortunately they couldn't put us ALL together, but that's expected and we didn't mind. So our waitress's name was Kehau. We came at a very busy time (Fri - lunch hr), but that didn't stop her! She handled it very well and I was impressed! The food came out within 10 minutes AND the food was delicious! I highly recommend this place! Thank you for being awesome, Kehau! Keep up the great job! I hope she gets a raise!

I wish my visit was better. I was so excited to have Zippys outside of Hawaii and especially in Vegas. Upon pulling up, I noticed how large the location was. There was a bakery, in house dining, take out, seating to eat for take out, and locked bins for online ordering. I ordered at the take out station and waited for food. Food took 45 minutes to come out for 3 items even though there were only a few tables and no other takeout orders. I got the Korean fried chicken and it was delicious. The chicken was cooked well, crispy, and flavorful. My friend had a chicken katsu which came out over cooked - luckily, staff was able to remake it which was a lot better. Overall, I'm happy to have Zippy's outside of Hawaii however, this location's operations needs more work.

Just drove over 200 miles from Cali, first stop, Zippys!!! Mahalo to the Aunty behind the counter who gave me a free drink for having to wait. And look at the size of that mochisada!!! Super soft and Ono!!

Heard that this was a staple in Hawaii so I had to check it out! This location is really big. You can dine in, order ahead and pick up your food in the lockers, or take your food togo. This is definitely Hawaiian comfort food. I got the chicken trio so I could try a little bit of everything. It comes with fried chicken, chicken katsu, and Korean fried chicken. I think the Korean fried chicken was the best. I thought the friend chicken didn't have a lot of flavor. The chili moco is a heavy meal so you definitely should share it lol the chili was really good. I could see why there's a hype. It's savory with a good blend of spices. The blueberry cake had little pieces of cream cheese and blueberries with a crumble top. I wanted it to have more blueberries but it wasn't bad. It's got a good selection of dishes. I would come back if I were in the area

I loved the food here. Loved that they had a tofu dish that was actually very tasty and well cooked. The service was friendly. I actually felt an Hawaiian welcome from the staff based off of their chill demeanor and friendliness. The ambiance was clean and the place had tons of seating available. We came here around 10am on a Sunday morning. The breaded tofu dish had so much flavor and loved the crisp from the breaded tofu dish. This isn't even a vegetarian place, but I would come here just for that tofu plate. Breaded Tofu w/ Korean Sauce Plate: 4.5/5

I was really hopeful for this Zippy's as I have heard good things about the restaurant in Hawaii. I went on a Friday afternoon and it was surprisingly slow with only about 5-6 people in the restaurant area and 2-3 waiting for pickups. The menu had a decent amount of choices with a variety of sides, entrees and desserts. I went with the surf pac and the loco moco for my entrees. The surf pac was good but not great. The rice was well seasoned but chicken had a tough outer texture on the skin and the beef was not very flavorful. The loco might have been the star of the show with plenty of sauce and a perfectly cooked over easy egg. Overall I might come back if I'm in the area but I believe their are better options out there

Zippy's Arroyo Crossing Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Zippy's Arroyo Crossing

Is there a private room for groups?

I did not see any private rooms ...

    Do they sell mochizadas here?

    Yes!!!!

Has anyone tried the online dine in waitlist? Since there still seems to be long waits, I was wondering if it works. Also, will they allow you to get seated if the rest of your party has not arrived? Thanks!

I want to say depends on how busy they are. I would give them a call to double check.

Where in Las Vegas is zippys located? Is it North, East, West or South part of Las Vegas?

Southwest, about 15 minutes from the strip.

Is this a sit-down and order from server set-up or only line up and order at counter?

They have restaurant service (sit and order), order at counter, and online ordering available

Do they have good Manapua? Is it worth driving 30 minutes just for the manapua?

I'd say yes. But be warned, they run out of a batch from time to time

    Is it dog friendly?

There's patio seating for to go and pick up orders.

Can you get lunch during breakfast hours?

    Yes.

When will the menu have Daily Specials like back in Hawaii?

I was told that it will be about a year before they have the complete menu and such -

Does this location sell any merchandise (IE shirts, hats, etc.)?

No they don't, but they do have a website "shop.zippys.com" you can find merchandise there

Can you order a bucket of chili? I'm hoping to freeze one to bring home when we visit! 😁

    Yes.

Is there an outside area to sit/eat?

    Not really

    Is there a take-out dining/seating area?

There is a dine in area and also an area to pick up take -out!

Can we order two dozen napples ahead of time for pick up at a later time?

At this time, no phone orders are being taken. If you call their listed number on Yelp, an automatic reply is generated.

How much is a whole Dobash cake?

    $19.45

Is the line still long to go there and eat?

Depending on time of day, but the line moves pretty quick. On average it is about half hour , forty five minutes for the dine in line. Unless you go when it opens at 6am or go during off hours like between 2-4pm on a weekday. Good luck and enjoy!

I got online and looked around. I looked at all the pictures of the food. Where is the saimin where is the wonton min? I am going to be so sad if they don't have it!

I was told that they will be bringing in those items soon. As for now, we will just wait.

    Where loco moco?

Hopefully they'll add that item soon! I'm still waiting for long johns. lol

I was greeted by a friendly hostess when I walked in, and my waiter Ramsees (I think that's how you spell his name) was even better. He was welcoming, attentive, and took the time to give me some recommendations since it was my first visit. I ended up ordering a classic breakfast. Overall, it was very good. The eggs were a little greasy for my taste, and the pancakes were definitely on the sweet side--but to be fair, they are called sweet cream pancakes! What really stood out was the service. The gentleman sitting next to me seemed unhappy with absolutely everything and somehow made it all the waiter's fault. We never know what someone else is going through, but it certainly wasn't the server's fault that he had a bad day. Despite that, my waiter remained professional, patient, and kind throughout the entire interaction. I felt bad for him, but he handled the situation incredibly well. Thankfully, he mentioned it was his Friday and he had a couple of days off coming up. He definitely earned them! This review is really to recognize him for doing such a great job. Excellent customer service, a positive attitude, and professionalism even under pressure. I'll definitely be back.

The bag was sealed tightly, which I appreciated. I ordered bacon scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese , pancakes and hash browns. The food was about $27. The bacon since I wanted 4 slices were was a dollar each. My hash browns were $7 My BIGGEST complaint is the packaging. Why put the pancakes directly on top of the eggs? They stuck together like glue, and I had to scrape the pancakes off the eggs as Y'ALL can see. I didn't know I was going to have to perform surgery on my breakfast before eating them. Due the pancakes & eggs being conjoined. A separate container--or even a sheet of parchment paper--would've made a huge difference. The hash browns were good, the eggs were okay after reheating, the bacon was flavorful but smaller than I expected, and the pancakes (what was left of them) were very sweet I think they put some cake mix or something in the batter. For a diner that's been around for decades & decades & decades.. I expected better presentation. Good presentation is like artwork. I enjoy abstract art...just not when it's my breakfast. I give it (2 out of 5 stars)--one star for the adorable bear on the bag and one star for sealing the bag well. However, I might give them one more chance & update y'all Happy Fourth of July, everyone! Have a safe holiday.

The Cheesesteaks are nice size, toasted bun, grilled veggies. Comes with Fries which are delicious. Tender meat and $13.00 is a bargain.

Ambiance here is pretty bright and inviting. And you can see just about every direction the moment you walk in and perhaps even when seated. I was in town for a fun convention of sorts and it was very noted our big group was in the breakfast/brunch mood. Delicious mimosas, fresh juice, great potatoes and a good place in a pinch. Marilyn's Cafe has good specials, including Soup of the Day, All Day Breakfast, Cantina Thursdays, Day of the Week Meal Specials and more. A variety of gluten free options, including pancakes, toasts, etc. Sensation sides/extras as they call them. Perfect fruit. Have your pick of breakfast delights, burgers, pizzas, salads, entree, soups, appetizers, desserts and more. Soft drinks, hot drinks (coffee, tea), iced drinks, beer and wine are all available for beverage options. Rarely a wait for anything needed, even when busy they don't seem to miss a beat. Restrooms are directly outside of the restaurant/cafe itself, not far at all. Open from 7am to 11pm, all week and weekend.

Sophia quickly attended to my order and answered all my questions. I then took in the extreme cleanliness and overall friendly demeanor of the staff and the customers. The good-natured service and the family atmosphere is most-welcome in these current times. I witnessed the server's mother and sister saying 'thank you' and they would see her later, as well as the owner's granddaughter and her father sitting next to me at the bar for a quick breakfast. If you're looking for a Vegas staple--that relocated from downtown in 2020-I recommend putting Vickie's on your short list. The French Toast was light and fluffy, eggs cooked to request, and the bacon the perfect amount of crispy. Visit, bring your friends, recommend to your family and make it a point to eat here next time you're in town! Thank you for a wonderful experience. I'll be back when my schedule permits.

The vibe is classic, nostalgic, and full of charm. Honestly, the only thing missing was some old-school jukebox music to complete the experience. Madison absolutely crushed it with her service. Super attentive, friendly, and on point the whole time without ever being overbearing. She made the visit even better. I ordered the French toast special with a side of bacon, and let me just say... not a crumb survived. Everything came out hot, fresh, and exactly what you want from a true diner breakfast. If you're looking for a hidden gem with great food and even better service, this spot is definitely worth checking out. I'll be back.

Apparently, "we'll go to breakfast" has become code for "we'll eventually eat...sometime before…read moredinner." A friend and I had every intention of heading out for breakfast at a reasonable hour, but life had other plans. By the time we finally made it out the door, I was still firmly on Team Breakfast, my friend had crossed over to Team Lunch, and we were both at the point where we'd have considered eating the steering wheel. Enter Mr. Mamas. After scrolling through Yelp, it consistently landed in our top three choices. Neither of us had been before, so we figured, "Why not?" Spoiler alert: excellent decision. By pure luck, we were seated next to the owners. Now, I can't honestly tell you who "Mr. Mama" is because, as the saying goes, behind every successful man is an incredible woman. Ron and Teresa were welcoming from the moment we sat down, and I always appreciate seeing restaurant owners eating their own food. If they're choosing to eat there on their day, that's usually a pretty good sign. The menu is huge--in the best way possible. Whether you're craving breakfast, lunch, or you're dining with someone who can't decide what meal they're emotionally attached to, they've got you covered. I ordered the Cali Omelette, swapped the potatoes for fresh berries, upgraded to pepper jack cheese, asked for the sour cream on the side, and after asking about their green salsa, Ron encouraged me to order an extra side. Ron...you were right. That green salsa deserves its own Yelp account. Fresh and flavorful, and I found myself putting it on every bite. My friend ordered the cheeseburger and fries, and we learned their beef is fresh, never frozen. You can absolutely taste the difference. It was juicy, flavorful, and disappeared suspiciously fast. As for my omelette? I'd order it again in a heartbeat...which is saying something because there are at least a dozen other dishes I already want to come back and try. Naomi took great care of us, and Nick, the manager, was every bit as friendly and engaging as Ron and Teresa. You can tell the hospitality starts at the top and trickles down to the entire staff. Clean restaurant. Great energy. Friendly people. Delicious food. Generous portions. Zero complaints. Some restaurants simply serve food. Others make you feel like you've been invited over for breakfast by people who are genuinely happy you're there. Mr. Mamas is the second kind. Whether you're a Las Vegas local or just passing through, do yourself a favor: show up hungry...and don't skip the green salsa.
