    Spaghetti with Garlic Bread

My first time here but a very pleasant experience! Although the place's a big restaurant The wait is quite long. Once they do sit you down the service is fast. We got the spaghetti, Saimin ramen and the zip pac deluxe. For dessert we ordered 2 cakes, which they were mid in my opinion. The place's feels peaceful as it wasn't very loud.

Had grindz at Zippy's Las Vegas and ho brah da food was ono! I got da Korean Chicken Plate and da Chicken Trio, and both was broke da mout. Plenty flavor juicy chicken and good portions too. And no forget da noodles was super ono and went perfect wit da meal. If you stay wondering what fo order I highly recommend anyting with Korean chicken. If you stay missing local Hawaii kine food Zippy's in Vegas is da spot. Mean food, good vibes, and made me feel like I was back home. Mahalo Zippy's we will be back

When in Vegas I enjoy eating at spots off the strip because of the convenience and ease of access. This is one of my new favorite spots as I've been wanting to try this Hawaiian staple for a long time. I got the Vegas plate and it was great. Their chilli is so good i wish I got some to-go. The service is hospitable and friendly, and they're open late.

We came for dinner at around 6:30 pm on 7/25. Our server, David, was nice but not attentive. It took a while to get our drinks (it was around 115 degrees outside) and when we got them they were never refilled. The sauce on my Korean fried chicken, my usual when we go, was overly spicy and had maybe half the flavor it normally does. My wife's chicken Katsu had several undercooked pieces, and when she couldn't flag David down she went to the front counter which finally got his attention. He apologized and brought out a fresh plate, but only gave us 15% off for the inconvenience. Keep in mind my wife was sharing that chicken with our toddler; they both could have gotten very sick. My wife couldn't eat after that, so we flagged David down again for to go containers, again for the check, and one final time for him to pick up the check and our card. My wife was at her limit so she went to the car but I went back inside and got the manager, who was very apologetic and comped the chicken Katsu. We used to come here all the time, but I can see why there weren't a lot of customers here today.

Arrived for a late breakfast early lunch. We were greeted and seated immediately. They offer both tables or booth seating. Our server was amazing. She was very friendly and definitely showed us the Aloha spirit. She checked in with us several times to ensure we were happy with our food and service. The Haupia cake was very light and ono. My teriyaki steak was cooked perfectly. The macaroni salad reminded me of Hawaii. Service and food here is very consistent and never disappoints. You really must give Zippys a try. Make sure you stop at their bakery and take home some island favorites. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

This hit the spot for some great Hawaiian grub! I love coming to Zippy's in Hawaii. I'm so happy there's a location not too far from me. I ordered on the app for us to pick it up and eat there at their tables. All of the tables were clean. The service is always very friendly and they have a nice aloha spirit. The dessert case always looks so delicious but they do sell out quick of their popular desserts. We ordered the KFC and chili combo and the teriyaki beef plate. Everything was yummy! I love how it has so much flavor in each bite. It comes with rice and macaroni salad that wasn't too creamy that I love. You can't go wrong with the Korean fried chicken for sure. The beef had a lot of sauce and some cabbage. Can't wait to come back!

I was really excited to try this place after hearing a lot about it, so I was curious going in. First, the atmosphere. There's plenty of parking and the space inside is quite large with lots of seating. It would definitely be good for accommodating big groups. The place is bright, open, and clean. From the entrance, the dining area is on the right side, and I believe the left side is for takeout orders. I already browsed ahead of time to decide what to order and went with the fried chicken. The portion was huge! It is definitely more than enough for one person, and in hindsight, we probably should have shared since everyone in our group (including kids) ordered their own dish. As for the taste, it was a bit underwhelming for me. Even the macaroni salad felt pretty plain. I'm not sure if my expectations were too high going in, but I felt like the food could have used more seasoning. That said, everyone else in my group seemed to enjoy their meals. I might come back again in the future and try something different next time.

I've heard so much about Zippy's so I was super excited to try it. I understand why people love it! We went here after a 4hr road trip and were ready to eat! They have a great selection of food and baked goods. Our group ordered several items including ox tail soup, miso salmon plate, Korean chicken plate, mixed plate + ube ensamada. Everything was delicious! Happy eating! (We were so hungry that I forgot to take pics of the food before we inhaled it!)

On this visit, we decided to try something different and ordered through the app and ate on the take out counter side. As a family with younger kids, waiting for a table isn't always realistic, so doing this turned out to be a great option. Ordering through the app was easy and convenient, and our food came out hot and ready without a long wait -- exactly what parents need when kids are already hungry. We ordered a little bit of everything: the Zip Pac, Chicken Katsu, the April Deal Korean Fried Chicken chili mixed plate, and of course spaghetti. Everything tasted exactly how you hope Zippy's will taste -- hot, comforting, and consistent. No complaints from anyone at the table, which honestly says a lot when feeding a large family. Every plate was cleaned by the end of the meal, always the best sign of a successful dinner. If you're dining with kids or just don't want to wait for a table, the take-out counter seating is a solid move. Same great Zippy's flavors, just faster and easier. We'll definitely be doing it this way again!

We decided to try dining in at this Zippy's location since we had a great experience at their Henderson location. The dining room was not too busy around 5:30pm, and the interior was bright and clean. Our server was very friendly but seemed very overworked. There seemed to be only two servers for the whole dining room. As a result, items were forgotten and drinks were not proactively refilled. She never asked for our Zippy's rewards information, and after we reminded her she said she would "try" to get the manager to add the points (which never happened). The food was very good! I had the chili moco which is quite hearty and features two eggs and two beef patties over rice and covered with chili. It also features a side of macaroni salad. Very tasty and very filling! I can never finish all the rice. We got the "complete meal" option which adds a soup or salad, a Hawaiian roll, a soft drink, and a dessert for about $11 additional. The salad was crisp and fresh, but I wish they had more dressing options than creamy Asian and ranch. The roll was a classic King's Hawaiian sweet roll. For dessert I had the dobosh cake which was great! A wonderfully moist yet light chocolate cake. Overall this was great food, but they do need to work a bit on the service.

Dine in Service: from waiting to be seated, to ordering, to food being served....extremely slow but yet only about 7 tables were occupied Food cons: chicken was dry and unappetizing - huge disappointment considering the price they charge. What happened to the moist and crunchy chicken that I grew up eating? Beef stew temperature was borderline cold when served Noodles in won ton min were hard to chew, needed more cooking time Char siu in won ton min was overcooked- waste of money Coconut haupia cake was dry and no coconut haupia flavor at all Food pros: Rice perfectly cooked Korean chicken was ono Mac salad still a winner Long John of course was the star of the finale- we took a box home. Employees: very friendly and accommodating But I'll definitely not eat at Zippys again unless it's long johns

I wish my visit was better. I was so excited to have Zippys outside of Hawaii and especially in Vegas. Upon pulling up, I noticed how large the location was. There was a bakery, in house dining, take out, seating to eat for take out, and locked bins for online ordering. I ordered at the take out station and waited for food. Food took 45 minutes to come out for 3 items even though there were only a few tables and no other takeout orders. I got the Korean fried chicken and it was delicious. The chicken was cooked well, crispy, and flavorful. My friend had a chicken katsu which came out over cooked - luckily, staff was able to remake it which was a lot better. Overall, I'm happy to have Zippy's outside of Hawaii however, this location's operations needs more work.

Heard that this was a staple in Hawaii so I had to check it out! This location is really big. You can dine in, order ahead and pick up your food in the lockers, or take your food togo. This is definitely Hawaiian comfort food. I got the chicken trio so I could try a little bit of everything. It comes with fried chicken, chicken katsu, and Korean fried chicken. I think the Korean fried chicken was the best. I thought the friend chicken didn't have a lot of flavor. The chili moco is a heavy meal so you definitely should share it lol the chili was really good. I could see why there's a hype. It's savory with a good blend of spices. The blueberry cake had little pieces of cream cheese and blueberries with a crumble top. I wanted it to have more blueberries but it wasn't bad. It's got a good selection of dishes. I would come back if I were in the area

Ask the Community - Zippy's Arroyo Crossing

Is there a private room for groups?

I did not see any private rooms ...

    Do they sell mochizadas here?

    Yes!!!!

Has anyone tried the online dine in waitlist? Since there still seems to be long waits, I was wondering if it works. Also, will they allow you to get seated if the rest of your party has not arrived? Thanks!

I want to say depends on how busy they are. I would give them a call to double check.

Where in Las Vegas is zippys located? Is it North, East, West or South part of Las Vegas?

Southwest, about 15 minutes from the strip.

Is this a sit-down and order from server set-up or only line up and order at counter?

They have restaurant service (sit and order), order at counter, and online ordering available

Do they have good Manapua? Is it worth driving 30 minutes just for the manapua?

I'd say yes. But be warned, they run out of a batch from time to time

    Is it dog friendly?

There's patio seating for to go and pick up orders.

Can you get lunch during breakfast hours?

    Yes.

When will the menu have Daily Specials like back in Hawaii?

I was told that it will be about a year before they have the complete menu and such -

Does this location sell any merchandise (IE shirts, hats, etc.)?

No they don't, but they do have a website "shop.zippys.com" you can find merchandise there

Can you order a bucket of chili? I'm hoping to freeze one to bring home when we visit! 😁

    Yes.

Is there an outside area to sit/eat?

    Not really

    Is there a take-out dining/seating area?

There is a dine in area and also an area to pick up take -out!

Can we order two dozen napples ahead of time for pick up at a later time?

At this time, no phone orders are being taken. If you call their listed number on Yelp, an automatic reply is generated.

How much is a whole Dobash cake?

    $19.45

Is the line still long to go there and eat?

Depending on time of day, but the line moves pretty quick. On average it is about half hour , forty five minutes for the dine in line. Unless you go when it opens at 6am or go during off hours like between 2-4pm on a weekday. Good luck and enjoy!

I got online and looked around. I looked at all the pictures of the food. Where is the saimin where is the wonton min? I am going to be so sad if they don't have it!

I was told that they will be bringing in those items soon. As for now, we will just wait.

    Where loco moco?

Hopefully they'll add that item soon! I'm still waiting for long johns. lol

The oxtail soup was really good: the broth seemed like it has a good amount of shoyu in it (it was dark), and had really nice beef flavor. There were also some shiitake mushrooms, which added to the umami, and fresh cilantro which, paired with the grated ginger, really complemented the savory elements. The oxtails were super tender and plentiful. The meat was well seasoned and fell off the bone. I've eaten a lot of oxtail soup, and this was really good. The limu poke was also solid. The limu was a nice touch: it's not as frequent to see it on the mainland, and I like the smoky flavor it imparts on the poke. The taro turnover was a revelation. It was so good it didn't make it to photos. The pastry crust was flakey, the taro was warm and sweet, and the Carmel drizzle was really nice. It does take 20 minutes to get the turnover, but I think it's worth it.

I also got the mac spam and a double spam misubi. Sooooooo much rice and the double spam really equals to one regular spam size at other hawaiian places. The Mac spam was very bland and both the spams not worth its price. The inside was hot and looked old. The music was cool and the cashier, a young woman, looked severely depressed and unenthusiastic. He usually never misses when it comes to doing recon on places to try. Huge, huge shout out to Aaron for going above + beyond. He runs the front counter & did not hesitate to answer any + all questions. He's really passionate about the quality of food that is served here. He went into interesting detail about how the meats are marinaded in-house. I particularly appreciated that he personally came to our table several times to make sure everything was ok & how we liked the food. If the owners are reading this, please give Aaron a raise. Personally, he is the biggest reason that my group & I had such a lovely experience. Lefty-J's Island Favorites was no exception. I'm glad I let him choose our lunch option for the day. FOOD #19 - Famous Five Star - 9.1 / 10 A combo platter featuring Kalbi Short Ribs, Ribeye Teriyaki Beef, Chicken Katsu, & Teriyaki Chicken. The Kalbi Short Ribs were impressively meaty. Usually, other Hawaiian places serve fattier ribs with scant meat. The ones here were decently substantial & decently trimmed of unnecessary fat. The sauce is thick, savory, with just the right amount of body + sweetness. The Ribeye Teriyaki Beef is similar but in the form of the best cut on meat. No bones, no necessary fat. It's everything I think of when I think "premium beef". I could eat an entire Family Size bowl of this stuff + steamed white rice. Again, the exact same teriyaki sauce is miles above any other Hawaiian place because its thick, umami, & not-too-sweet. The Chicken Katsu is thick + generous in portion. In fact, this plate was a decent portion to satisfy me & my buddy for a few hours before our epic dinner at The Golden Steer. The macaroni salad was refreshing, medium-bodied, & not too creamy. The macaroni noodles were not-too mushy. The salad itself was noticeably less sweet compared to that at other Hawaiian restaurants. The teriyaki chicken was lean & not fatty. Again, the same sauce really carries this protein to a higher level of other Hawaiian restaurants' teriyaki chicken. Like I said, the owners here are putting in a lot of work to make their offerings miles above what other Hawaiian places do. Hot Dog Masubi - 7.5 / 10 Granted, I'm more of a spam masubi kind-of-guy, this was still a refreshing take on a Hawaiian classic. The peculiar redness of the hot dog links is oddly satisfying. A pretty big size for a snack. Rice was well cooked. Seaweed had a nice chew.

I'll start by saying I'm a fan of the food "court" layout at the Durango. I use the term court,…read morebut it's more than that. Access to the dining area is right off the self-park elevator. No having to navigate through the casino. This was our first time at Ai Pono Café, but it is officially on our dining-out rotation. Our food was tasty and fresh. I went with the Spicy Ahi Bowl. The rice was sticky and the tuna was not over seasoned...fresh and flavorful. Our table shared the Spicy Poke Nachos. So good. The wonton chips were light and crispy. The restaurant offers plenty of casual seating. It is well lit and airy. The staff was welcoming. Service with a smile.

His cousin couldn't stop raving about the food, so we decided to check it out for dinner last night. We ordered the Crackhead Chicken and Da "OG" Beef to share, and I also got a Spam musubi I had been craving. The musubi was HUGE and really hit the spot. We also ordered a side of Crackhead Chicken without the spice for our 1 year old, and she LOVED it. Normally she throws her food, but this time she actually ate it and kept making the cutest "yummy" faces the whole time. The moment I took my first bite of chicken, my reaction said it all. The flavor was INCREDIBLE! It had a perfect balance of sweetness from the coconut and a nice kick from the spices. Everything worked so well together, and the chicken itself was unbelievably moist and juicy. I also loved that the meat was served over the rice, allowing for all the juices to soak in. The rice was soft, flavorful, and just as satisfying. The macaroni salad was hands down my favorite compared to any Hawaiian BBQ spot I've tried. I also had a few bites of the beef, which had an amazing flavor and just the right amount of char to elevate it even more. The only thing that didn't stand out to me was the coleslaw, but we found out later that you can substitute for extra macaroni salad for an additional 50 cents. We will definitely do that next time! Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will absolutely be back whenever we are in the area. One quick note for parents: there are no high chairs available, and we even searched the entire food court. Since it's inside a casino, it's understandable, but just something to keep in mind.
