The sushi is okay, but this is the second time that the food didn't come out together for everyone. Please know that it is rude to serve others in your party and have other people waiting to eat.

Staff are friendly, restaurant is clean. We had the short rib appetizer. I had the Alaskan Sushi roll. My husband had the chicken and beef combination plate. The chicken was questionable and not quality. Sushi was subpar. We won't be back, but giving 3 stars due to the first sentence.

Great service with almost as great food. The rolls are ginormous so be cautious of how much you order. I had the combination short rib order, it was great and I recommend it if you want more than just sushi. The chicken katsu is subpar so don't order that. Fried rice tastes like Mexican rice (which I love but not what I wanted). Service, again, was amazing. Thanks for the private seating area!!!

Tried with a group of friends and had a good selection to try from. Tried the gyoza, salmon sashimi, Lava roll, caliente roll, chicken katsu bento and Tempura ice cream with mochi. The gyoza is decently flavored but is not an item that I would drive that far to eat. The salmon sashimi didn't have a bad odor, however, it didn't taste fresh which was disappointing. Given we aren't by the coast, I wouldn't expect that freshness here. The Lava roll is was flavorful, however, it's a Americanized version which was definitely not authentic. I would order it again if I go back. The caliente roll wasn't my favorite; it was not fresh or flavorful. The chicken katsu bento was underwhelming since the chicken was less than a cm thick which felt like if I was eating fried bread crumbs unfortunately, don't order it if you are looking for some real katsu. The dessert wasn't a bad option to try, it had decent flavor of the macha ice-cream and tempura was a little bit thick; however, it wasn't disappointing.

Amazing food is an understatement. I got an appetizer, two tolls, and a dessert. All of it surpassed my expectations and the portions are generous. I am glad I chose to try this place out. The service was great and I have to give credit to Jenny for the recommendations. I think the decore and lighting is perfect for either a date, a family dinner, or a hangout with friends. You can really tell that the employees love working here and they have a sense of togetherness you don't usually see in places that get this busy.

This place is pretty cool! It's in a shopping center, so there is plenty of parking, and they have lots of seating, including table in separate rooms off to the side. We both got Miso soup & Salad with our rolls. The ginger dressing was good and the Lemon Roll was a fun item to try-it was very good and I'd order it again. I also got a salmon roll, which is a classic. I was incredibly full by the time we left here! Boyfriend got veggie rolls of some sort and was also very pleased (and stuffed) when we left. A fun find on this side of town!

This is my to-go spot for sushi!! I've forgotten to leave a review so many times. It's conveniently located down the street from me and it's available on Uber Eats and GrubHub. Its on the Northeast side of town. I'm from Hawaii and we know great sushi and this is the closest I'll come to awesome sushi in the desert! I've ordered from other spots only when Hamachi isn't open. Order any roll and it comes with miso soup and salad. My roomie and I always get the same rolls- Lion King and Jessica!! and don't forget the edamame too! We also ordered the same rolls when we dine in plus sake Give this place a try. You won't be disappointed!!

If you are looking to order BBQ SHORT RIBS, be sure to explain how you want it cooked. I have always ordered short ribs on this restaurant and have not had any issues. This time the short ribs was still red (bloody). The assistantship manager indicated that they cook this way (rare) because it is how customers want it!!! Yes, I would order rare if I was eating a rib eye steak, BUT NOT BBQ SHORT RIBS. If it was Restuarant's procedure to give customers a choice how their meat will be cooked, it should be asked during ordering process. NOT to assume that "everyone" wants rare short ribs. Restaurant staff indicated they aren't trained to ask customers for their preference. This is not a good practice, thus, the low yelp rating. P.S. I am not a fan of returning food back to the kitchen to have it fixed. No matter which restaurant, fast food, casual dining.

Very clean establishment and good vibes with shoji screens and lighting. Our service was very good too! We explained how we have never been here before and our waitress explained in full detail the how to and their menu. She came back at a good rate and was very nice. Me and my partner got the standard course for two. It was around $68. That's a lot in my opinion for not that much food compared to a Korean bbq. The galbi short ribs for example, they only gave us 3. They couldn't even give us 4? Two each? That in general is also crazy small. The rest of the meats were flat pieces like brisket and little steak bits. That's not a lot of food. It looks like a lot but when meat shrinks it's just tasters. I'm not impressed with the amount I'm spending with the amount of food. It's honestly not a lot when you really break it down. We did try the mochi and me and my partner agreed that was probably the best mochi ice cream we have had. Plenty of options, very delicious and tasty. If you want some sort of BBQ experience, I would not come here as my first option. You're just wasting money when you can go to an all you can eat and order practically everything. If you wanted Individual plates of soemthing, for example the galbi short ribs for a plate was around $14. Cmon now. We wouldn't come back here. It was decent, too expensive for what you're getting. There's just better options to try. Thank you.

We were the only people here at the establishment but it was not bad. Our server was nice and friendly. For food o ordered the chicken lo mein. Very flavorful and good chicken to noodle ratio. Juicy even and was massive portion of plate. Very good ratio of food to pricing for this one. We ordered the shrimp tempura which was amazing and crispy. A very clean shrimp on the inside and perfect fry on the outside. Highly recommend this one to try. And the wonton soup was good too. I personally prefer clear base soups instead of this one which was an oily base. The wontons themselves tasted slightly undercooked because the actual dough itself was still quite hard but the flavor in the inside was okay too. Probably wouldn't order this one again but it's not a bad option. All in all pretty good Chinese food, if you're searching for something like this then go ahead. I would eat here again.

My husband is a fan of hibachi style cuisine so we looked up a spot near our home and Koze was the first to pop up! They also had good reviews so we were all for it. When we first arrived the hostess asked if we wanted to be seated at the grill (for show) or the dining room. Since my husband does like watching the cook do his thing, we opted to wait the 15-20 minutes for a grill to become available. Next time we will definitely make note to call ahead and make a reservation though! Once we were seated we looked over the menu to see our options. I will say that the service at Koze was a bit lacking. Our waitress took quite a while to come around for our drink order, main course and then at the end of the evening for us to pay our bill. I'm not sure if she was serving a lot of other tables for the night but that was just our experience. It would have been nice if she came around more so we weren't looking for her. My husbands parents got the shrimp and scallop meal to split, my husband ordered the chicken and scallops. I, however, decided to try their sushi - so I got the California roll and the BBQ salmon roll. Once the chef came around to start cooking (which took quite a while) he started the show. I will also note that there was a bit of a language barrier between us and the chef. He tried asking us questions, such as if we were celebrating a birthday, but it was very hard for us to understand what he was saying. We could also tell he was a bit new at the job because certain "tricks" he'd mess up on or had to try a couple times before he got it right. For the food, I will say that I did enjoy my sushi. Both rolls were delicious! My husband ate mostly the protein on his plate. They give a huge portion of fried rice for the main courses, it's definitely enough for two people. I believe his parents said they thought the meal was good as well. I think it came down to the service we received which kind of left a bad impression. The food was good it was just the lack of service that left me wanting more. I know there are other hibachi restaurants in El Paso. I will probably try those with my husband. I wouldn't mind coming back to Koze, I understand maybe they were just having a bad day. But I would also try other places.

We had wonderful meals of BBQ, Southern, American and Mexican food but we started to miss our Ramen meals back home. This place was great. Ot had a youthful, edgy vibe with cozy and nice colorful decor. We ordered the Thicc Boi and Birria Ramen, and ordered sides of the Thai Peanut Cucumber Salad, and Pork buns. The salad was a nice appetizer. We wished we had this back home. The dressing tasted peanutty with black sesame seeds and a nice acid balance. Kaemada's Ramen has El Paso influences. The broth had full bodied flavor, the meat was cut thicker with grilled char! Please also try the Birrea Ramen! We eat Birria broth and tacos at home and this ramen bowl was a great marriage of the 2 dishes. The thick cut and grilled char feature was also included in the pork bun. It was so tasty and satisfying with the thick pork cut, which I often thought was too thin anyways in the original version. They took the best El Paso meat flavor and Japanese presentation influences to make Kaemada's dish unique and their own. Don't expect the delicate and refined dashi broth Japan has. Be open to the bold flavors of the pork and broth. Expect a Southwest and Japanese fusion of robust and evolved flavors. Personally, I like firm noodles so request it cooked this way. Izzy, our server was friendly and attentive. She made our meal there more pleasant. Don't forget to order the Yuzu Cheesecake, light and not so sweet with a strong presence of Yuzu.
