    The chef's special - scallops
    Steffany V.

    My husband and I visited this restaurant to celebrate my birthday on a Saturday around 6:30 PM. Although we didn't have a reservation, we were seated right away. Our server, Ivan, made our first experience very enjoyable! We ordered three drinks, bone marrow, and fried calamari for our appetizer. For our main courses, we had the ribeye with truffle fries and the chef's special, which was scallops that week. Everything was delicious and worth the price, with the bone marrow being the highlight of the meal. The atmosphere was nice and cozy, with about ten tables and some bar seating. This created an intimate dining experience that enhanced our evening. I would definitely return to try more of their dishes and hopefully receive more excellent service!

    Update after visiting multiple times: they are extremely consistent. Food is aways great. Still stingy with the artichoke though. I think my crispy calamari was a fluke, because I've since ordered it multiple times and it has been perfect. So good. My favorite appetizer!

    Soooo good! Ribeye tacos - 5/5 perfectly cooked. The naan is amazing and the meat is so flavorful. Bone marrow add on - 4/5 perfectly cooked, wish it came with 1 piece of bread. It seemed a little under seasoned. Sourdough bread - 5/5 amazing. I don't normally like sour dough, but this is good, hot, and fresh. Naan - 5/5 homemade and amazing. Light and fluffy Pistachio crusted scallop pasta. 4.5/5 The scallops were sooooo perfect and tender. The pistachio was such a perfect touch. The pasta was great but seemed to have a lot of almost raw garlic in the cream sauce. I love garlic but was a little much for me. Wish the garlic was more cooked. Macha salsa - 5/5 perfect touch to the tacos. Frankly I would put it on anything it's THAT good. Pizza - 4.5/5 really good pizza and the crust is soft and crunchy where it needs to be. I paid a lot ($6) for extra toppings and it seemed skimpy on those. Crabcake - 3/5 don't get me wrong, it comes hot and fresh, but it had way too many raw crunchy things in it like onions and celery. I don't mind other things being in there but I want them cooked all the way. I like tender crab cakes, not (raw) crunchy ones.

    This is the third time I've been here, but first for brunch. There was only one customer in the entire restaurant through the whole time we were there. The gentleman was waiting for an order to go. He apparently had ordered food for 20 people. Our food took an hour to come out, we had 3 plates (2 orders of tacos and 1 chilaquiles). The amount of wait time for no other customers being in the restaurant is disappointing. I understand the to go order was large, but it seemed only one person was cooking. The chilaquiles were good, very different flavor than your usual. The tacos were okay, but the tortillas were dripping with oil. The ambiance is beautiful, great decor, very clean. A very strong smoke smell in restaurant prob because of brick oven.

    Asparagus spears

    There's never a time I've been there that I don't love the food and everything else. I took my daughter that was visiting from Phoenix and she loved it. We had the I think it's called Susan Pizza with pears and arugula with honey and requested prosciutto on it and it was devine. The spicy pasta with shrimp was also delicious along with the asparagus spears. I highly recommend this place for great service, atmosphere and food!

    Food was fantastic, Great ambiance very nice without the price tag. Service was always on top of it. I'd come back!

    Mediterranean dip appetizer

    Nice spot with a pretty diverse menu to choose from. We dropped by on Sunday after church and were advised of the Brunch menu that was available for the day. Also told that pizza from the lunch menu was available with advance notice to the chef. Started with the Mediterranean dips appetizer including naan bread. The hummus & muhamarra were fresh and tasty. The bread was good too but there was not enough & we had to order extra. Also had a charcuterie board which was great! Some of the dishes we ordered included the Chicken Milanese, Chilaquiles with chicken & a separate order with an egg too (these were spicy), Avocado toast and a Pepperoni Pizza. Everything was good but portions were a little small for the price. Staff was light so getting our orders, refills, ice, etc took a while at times. Biggest knock on the visit, which could be understandable if it's caused by current challenges hiring in the market.

    Wow..::this place is legit!!!  Gorgeous.

    Wow...what a find. Nothing, and I mean nothing makes me Happier than to find special little places like this when I'm traveling. Nothing beats your own bed but...but...when you find a gem like this...that hotel shoebox becomes all that more tolerable. Warm, friendly folks great you...talk with you and Genuinely make you feel special. I'm sitting at the bar...waiting for my crazy high-maintenance pie and the smells are intoxicating. I want to jump behind that line and just attack the did I see waiting to go out. Can wait to come back...bring customers in....what a find....absolutely memorable. El Paso....come, eat and enjoy. These folks and their vittles are the real deal!!! Enjoy!

This has become an issue at some restaurants. The Ambiance is pleasant and not "noisy". A very pleasant experience. As we were seated our waiter took 10 min to great us and then another 12 min to bring our drinks. I didn't think anything of it yet it was a precursor to the rest of our dinner. After he took our order our kids food came out in a very timely fashion but our two orders of salmon and one steak sandwich took 40 min to arrive at the table. What a ridiculous waste of my time because my sandwich was missing the fries ordered and our waiter thought nothing of it till I brought it up then he took another 10 min to bring my fries. All this while simultaneously forgetting the sauce for the salmon which also took another 10 min to bring out. The salmon was so dry it was tacky and stuck to your teeth. If you know the feeling you know it's bad. The rice that came underneath the salmon was crunchy and way undercooked. All while the waiter was like oh I can bring you free deserts for your wait all while I could only think about how I just wanted to leave. I was internally livid and exhausted but kept it to my self after seeing the owner or manager who we the guy with the white hair over at the bar enjoying a few alcoholic beverages meanwhile his restaurants service and waitstaff to the worst possible job they can. I saw the people who got the most attention and good service were all regulars sitting at the bar laughing it up with the manager/owner older guy. Why not make sure your restaurant is running smoothly and food is being delivered and prepared properly and stop trying to impress the regulars who most likely will show up either way. Any restaurant that is this unorganized and unmotivated is due to crappy management. All this and the waiter is like I'll comp you for the steak sandwich with a discount for the bad service and salmon which was a whopping $5. I don't want a discount I don't want free day old desserts I want good service and decent food. Discounts and free desserts will never fix the problem because it will always be a crutch for trashy customer service. How about stop drinking with the guests and whoop that staff into semi decent shape buy some high chairs and make sure your expo does a once over quality check on the food and time it takes to get to the table EVEN if that means stepping in and doing it yourself. The restaurant is dark the tables are sticky the whole place is very compact . Perfect and quite attractive after 5-6 wines for sure. I'm sure the food is outstanding after a few drinks as well . They gave us a $25 dollar gift card to return which if I could I'd give to the owner so he could experience the same horrible food and service we did. I wouldn't even give the gift card to someone I hated. This was one of the first times in a long time I didn't just let it slide because I understand all restaurants and people have bad days but this was exceptionally bad. If you are thinking it can't be that bad think again it absolutely can. The whole "I'm sorry we usually have awesome service and everyone loves our food it's probably just me and my family " is laughable . This isn't my first time here while visiting El Paso. The food is getting worse.

    Craving bbq this Saturday I came early afternoon to Rib Hit East. I already knew what I wanted. I'd…read morebeen dreaming of it all day. I got a root beer, a small combo with brisket and of course some honey glazed spare ribs, green beans and corn on the cob. Though I haven been here In several months I could have swore it used to be a whole ear of corn in the past, not a cobette. I also wanted an appetizer to start of some of their fried mushrooms with gravy instead of ranch. My drink came right away, it was ice cold and the Root Beer right on point. Then I waited. And waited. And waited. Wondering after about 10 minutes now or so where my mushrooms were.... Waited a little more ... and out came my entree. With apologies, some mix up in the kitchen and mushrooms ??? So I said to cancel them, because I wanted them as an appetizer, to eat beforehand. So now that my food had arrived, I no longer needed them. So my waiter said he would. So I'm buttering my corn. Salt and peppering it, trying my green beans (so good, but needed some salt and pepper too), opening this tiny maybe 2oz thimble full of bbq sauce for all that meat on my plate, taking a bite out of my first spare rib and another gentleman shows up with a basket of mushrooms and ranch. Apologizing that mine actually got sent to another table so they had to make mine again. I chew the rib chunk in my mouth and tell him that I had cancelled them already because they were to be an appetizer. And I already had my food. He again apologized and asked could he just give them to me, after all they were already made, I told him i didn't want him to have to do that but he insisted. So I agreed. I didn't know how many I might eat now, I was already out of the notion. But it was nice of him to comp them and leave them. So my food. Ribs were amazing. As always. My brisket was either the first cut or last cut on the board. It was more like burnt ends. I had no nice slices of brisket. Everything was black tough char. Some small outer slices, some outer chunks. All crusted and black. I just kept telling myself, this must be what burnt ends are like! And used sauce to try and moisten it... but on most of it, that was impossible. It was hard, tough, hard to chew. Very flavorful for what it was and I have pretty good teeth. But I got no nice softer moist slices. I didn't complain, I just soldiered on and ate it all. My ribs were so good, this day I wish I'd just gotten them. The corn was very nice and kernels popped when you bit into them but they were cold? The cobette would not melt butter. I've never had that issue before. The mushrooms were piping hot so I could tell they were fresh made. But I only ate about 5. I was all about my plate by the time it came. So this wasn't 5 star visit this time. I will be back, they still have my favorite bbq sauce in town, it tastes like Central Texas Bbq Sauce. So the brisket and corn missed the mark this visit, normally they are both on point. And the Gentleman in the Red shirt went out of his way to correct a kitchen or other waitpersons mistake on my appetizer in a friendly quick manner and I greatly appreciate that. And I'll tell others. I think I'd say, don't serve customers all black first cuts or last cuts on brisket unless they ask for that, most of us are looking for some nice lean to moist tender slices when it comes to brisket, thank you.!
