    Sunkissed roll

I stopped next door at "verde salad" around noon (lunch time) but their line was very long and not moving so I walked to Mirai Bowl. I encountered fast service, healthy and delicious food. I paid $11 for their "sunkissed roll" which consisted of salmon and avocado. I also tried their matcha flavor ice cream wafer and I was very pleased with both.

This is my go to spot! The sushi is amazing... I recommend the Amigo roll if you like spicy food. It's fried & has a kick to it! The food is freshly made as soon as you order it. The service is quick as well. I also enjoy the crispy chicken teriyaki with white rice! ... don't forget to order eel sauce on the side. It's to die for!

Spicy seafood udon . Definitely had leftovers.

Found this place totally by accident. I was actually on my way over to Zinos for some Greek food but I stopped here to try out their spicy udon. In a nutshell, the place is small, the service was quick and friendly, the food was yummy. Thumbs down for the old lemon slices they had next to the drink machine. They were so dry I didn't understand why people kept getting them to put in their drinks. Yuck. Maybe I'm just one of those people who notice stuff like that. Made me wonder how long the various sauces near the lemons had been sitting out as well. I'll pass. The portions are HUGE. The bento boxes looked yummy, I will most likely try one of those next time. Overall, the place is ok. Nothing to rave about but I will definitely be back. I like to enjoy the simple things in life.

Outstanding squid salad! I know who would have thunk that. So good, I changed my flight to a later one out of El Paso so I could stop here one more time. You can not go wrong here. Staff was great, friendly service, made me feel like a regular on my first visit!

My husband and I love coming here ! Great food and reasonable prices !!! Quick too. They offer an amazing selection Of healthy options and their poke and chirashi are pretty good as well. You get enough food I normally have leftovers unless I'm right out of the gym it is enough food. Their sushi rolls are good too and not overly fried. The size of the sushi pieces is a nice size.

Philly roll. One slice didn't have cream cheese in it.

Small place. Looks like a spot for a quick to-go lunch. Ate here twice. Once sit in and once to go. When we sat it, food took bit of a time. We had two different sushi rolls. Tasted fine. Service was nothing more than typical service. When we had to-go, it was fast and prompt. The fish is tasty and fresh but I don't think it's worth price you pay. One of the slices of the roll didn't even have the cream cheese it was suppose to have. And there's only 5 pieces (pictured) $7.50 We had a chicken teriyaki bowl. For $4.99. He said he would get it again. We only came here because we were staying at the hotel nearby and wanted to eat something different. I don't see us coming back here.

House udon with tofu and Spicy crab roll

This is my new favorite spot. Everything is very fresh and made to order. I couldn't stop thinking about this crab roll since the last time I had it, so I had to go back again! Miso was also delicious. Highly recommend for a quick, healthy lunch.

For a place with the tagline "Japanese Express," I felt like there was more of a Korean influence on the place. I grew up in Japan, so I get excited when someone tells me about a place that serves Japanese cuisine. Before coming into Mirai Bowl, I was expecting a beef bowl place similar to Yoshinoya in Japan, but their beef bowl tasted more like Korean bulgogi. I also tried their Korean Ramen and it actually wasn't too bad. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like Americans have reduced ramen to Cup Noodles or Top Ramen, which is so disappointing being that ramen in Japan is much more than meal for broke college kids. With that said, Mirai Bowl's ramen does a fairly decent job representing what a bowl of ramen could be. For such a large bowl, I would've liked to have had more noodles. I kept digging around hoping to find more, but had no luck. All in all, it wasn't horrible. I'd definitely go back again. Only thing I thought they could improve is their customer service practice. We had never been there before and stood there attempting to decide what we want. The cashier stood there with a stone face, just staring at us, no smile or anything. She didn't engage us at all even to ask if we had any questions about the menu. I felt like I had to hurry and decide as not to inconvenience her.

    Look for this place!

Mirai makes a pretty decent Chicken Teriyaki bowl, my only issue is that they don't put much sauce on the chicken, though the chicken is still tender and juicy, it needs more sauce! No big deal, I'll just ask for more sauce next time. I also wish they offered a spicy version of the Chicken Teriyaki, though again, its not a huge deal because they have chili sauce on the side. I also tried their California Roll, it was alright, the sushi won't blow you away, so I'd only recommend ordering it if you're in the mood (but in that case you're better off going to a sushi place). But if you want to order a roll as an appetizer, it will do the trick, just don't expect much. All in all, not bad, especially for the price, the Chicken Teriyaki bowl is only $5, and its well portioned too! So you'll leave satisfied for lunch. The restaurant is kinda small, so expect to sit close to others (like in Japan!), or you can just grab it to go. Not the best Teriyaki joint in EP (Kees), but still good and conveniently located.

It became a special treat for our family while visiting our Tía in home hospice--and one of her last, most joyful bites. Food and our family's recipes are at the heart of who we are, so hearing my Tía Emma call it "magnificent" meant everything. While, we didn't dine in, we noted the atmosphere struck the right balance of upscale bar and grill on our two visits. Please note, this place get packed on weekend nights. As we were seated our waiter took 10 min to great us and then another 12 min to bring our drinks. I didn't think anything of it yet it was a precursor to the rest of our dinner. After he took our order our kids food came out in a very timely fashion but our two orders of salmon and one steak sandwich took 40 min to arrive at the table. What a ridiculous waste of my time because my sandwich was missing the fries ordered and our waiter thought nothing of it till I brought it up then he took another 10 min to bring my fries. All this while simultaneously forgetting the sauce for the salmon which also took another 10 min to bring out. The salmon was so dry it was tacky and stuck to your teeth. If you know the feeling you know it's bad. The rice that came underneath the salmon was crunchy and way undercooked. All while the waiter was like oh I can bring you free deserts for your wait all while I could only think about how I just wanted to leave. I was internally livid and exhausted but kept it to my self after seeing the owner or manager who we the guy with the white hair over at the bar enjoying a few alcoholic beverages meanwhile his restaurants service and waitstaff to the worst possible job they can. I saw the people who got the most attention and good service were all regulars sitting at the bar laughing it up with the manager/owner older guy. Why not make sure your restaurant is running smoothly and food is being delivered and prepared properly and stop trying to impress the regulars who most likely will show up either way. Any restaurant that is this unorganized and unmotivated is due to crappy management. All this and the waiter is like I'll comp you for the steak sandwich with a discount for the bad service and salmon which was a whopping $5. I don't want a discount I don't want free day old desserts I want good service and decent food. Discounts and free desserts will never fix the problem because it will always be a crutch for trashy customer service. How about stop drinking with the guests and whoop that staff into semi decent shape buy some high chairs and make sure your expo does a once over quality check on the food and time it takes to get to the table EVEN if that means stepping in and doing it yourself. The restaurant is dark the tables are sticky the whole place is very compact . Perfect and quite attractive after 5-6 wines for sure. I'm sure the food is outstanding after a few drinks as well . They gave us a $25 dollar gift card to return which if I could I'd give to the owner so he could experience the same horrible food and service we did. I wouldn't even give the gift card to someone I hated. This was one of the first times in a long time I didn't just let it slide because I understand all restaurants and people have bad days but this was exceptionally bad. If you are thinking it can't be that bad think again it absolutely can. The whole "I'm sorry we usually have awesome service and everyone loves our food it's probably just me and my family " is laughable . This isn't my first time here while visiting El Paso. The food is getting worse.

We started with a vegan pozole, inspired by the way the dish evolved over centuries. It was hearty, flavorful, and came with a fascinating history lesson. The sopes made with nixtamalized corn were rich and satisfying, with a personal touch -- tied to memories of his father making arrachera on weekends. From Chinese influences on tortillas and soy-sauced chiles, to Lebanese-Jewish inspired hummus with chipotle, and even Moorish Spain's paella -- every plate highlighted how cultures have blended to shape Borderland flavors. I loved how passionate Chef Rulis is about connecting food, family, and history. The dishes were not only delicious, but each one told a story.
