He liked the whole chunk of iceberg lettuce rather than shredded lettuce and the good number of pickle slices. Decided to try something new today. Unfortunately we should've gone somewhere else. For the price and service you get here, it's not worth it. We asked if the "jabba" fries were similar to animal style from in n out. The waiter's response was "I don't know what in n out is". Okkkkk then it took forever to get food and drinks. One burger wasn't placed then had to wait 20 minutes for the new burger. FORGET a refill you'll be done with your meal by the time it arrives. Unfortunately, we will not return. First and last time coming here. Wish I had checked reviews beforehand! Stopped in at 1:30pm because we were hungry and it looked cute. You order at the counter and they give you a buzzer - which I wrongfully assumed indicated quick turnaround. We ordered 1 burger and 1 fish sandwich. 20 minutes later I went to check in and they said it should be 10 more min. After that I went to check again, and they told me it would be another 10 min. Finally we got our food about 45 min after ordering. There was another woman at the counter who mentioned she had waited an hour. The food was actually pretty good, but the regular burger was definitely small. The patty is extremely thin so I would have spent the extra $1+ on the double if I had known. The worst part was the staff could not have cared less about the wait. I suggested they mention the wait time to people when they order if it is going to be that long, but the lady was uninterested in that feedback and not even remotely apologetic. If you want to grab some drinks with friends and don't mind rude service or a super long wait for an inexpensive meal, go for it (but definitely don't come hungry). Overall not a great experience. We loved the old location but everything has changed at this new location. We probably won't be back. My burger was dripping with watered down Thousand Island dressing and was so salty I wasn't able to eat it. My husband said his burger tasted like pickles as if the pickles were added and removed last minute. The frys are nothing special, just frozen out-of-a-bag sit-under-the-heat-lamp level food. They do have a full bar and an impressive cocktail menu. But the wine is limited to two choices--red and white. There is a live DJ. This is a mixed review. So the atmosphere is AMAZING as it sits where Priority Public House used to be. Such great patio seating and the inside is so well decorated. It looks like a proper burger place and then some. Next they have a full bar! I believe this is part of the same group that had Moto Deli, Corner Pizza, Valentina and more. Here is my issue: the burger menu doesn't match the rest of what is going on. You have either a single or a double. The only cheese option is American, which almost got me to not order. Then they have fries. No other options like curly fries, tots or onion rings. No burger options like bacon, avocado, bbq sauce, grilled onions. The burger was decent. A little small and while it appeared handmade it lacked flavor. The fries were also average. I would definitely stop in here for a drink and some chill time on the patio... and if this was a bar that served burgers I would give it a 5 star but it is a burger place competing with Five Guys, Habit Burger, Crispy Burger, Shake Shack and Notorious Burger. The burgers at the other places are better and with options and sides. I hope the menu gets modified. I love the location and Hope menu steps up a bit. If not I will still come for drinks. read more

I pulled up to where the old location was about half a mile away and Google maps told me it wasn't where it used to be. I figured it would be more or less the same place but I was surprised by how different the new location is. Right away there are some obvious differences. You now have to be seated to place your order, can't order at the counter which makes it difficult if you don't plan on staying here long. It's full service now and I even saw them give a group of people a buzzer. What bothers me is you can't even order online for pickup. Service was much slower than the other location and now they are trying to be a cocktail bar. The simplicity of the old location was what I liked about this place but now they are trying to do too much just like every other restaurant other than In-In-Out. Music was a bit loud, I don't even remember hearing music at the other location. The menu changed a little as well, I noticed they removed the triple burger from the menu and the prices were raised a little. Only saw a couple people working here and they were running around quite a bit going from making cocktails to bussing tables. They leave the door open which makes it a rather noisy dining experience with the train occasionally going by and Motorcycles. Someone parked their motorcycle right outside and the whole place instantly smelled smoggy. The back patio was closed so indoor seating was the only option. As far as the menu goes the burgers now have a Brandt beef patty instead of the Wagyu beef which I'd say is a downgrade. The patties were a lot greasier than I remembered and the bun quickly got soggy. The fries are no longer shoestring and more of a thin, crispy fry. They weren't bad but not nearly as good as the old location. At this point I have to recommend Crispy Burger over this place. read more

My husband and I have been to Hamburger Hut quite a few times for lunch. The burgers are great. We often invite a friend or two to join us so we can visit over lunch. Today the music was so loud that conversation was very difficult. I asked the guy at the cash register if he could please turn down the volume so we could carry on a conversation. He did not seem to care about our comfort level and the volume remained loud. A reminder to workers that they are there to make the customer happy and not the other way around would be good. I definitely felt like I did not matter. Don't know if I will come back after that kind of treatment. read more

Came in with high hopes but those were quickly dashed. First off we love the other businesses from this restaurant group but this isn't the same. Showed up and could immediately tell the staff was overwhelmed. That was fine as we were willing to wait to try the new neighborhood burger spot but then came the issues. It took 25 mins for someone to take our cocktail order, one bartender working so understandable. After placing our cocktail order and sitting at the outdoor area picnic table for 25 mins with no more service we went and found a server so we could get some french fries for one of the children in the group. After 20 mins the fries showed up, cold, when told about this the next order of fries came back cold. We decided to deal with it and order our food anyway, 3 burgers and 2 "jaba"fries. Mind you they only do have one type of burger, fries and a salad on their menu (3 things!) it took an hr for that food to come out and it was all freezing cold. Outside of the food being inedible the owners seem to be using the restaurant as their own personal backyard playground. They always had fresh cocktails in their hands and seemed to be having a grand old time while their staff was drowning. They also have a dj, which seems cool till you realize they play music suited for the strip club, all fine but not when there are 10-15 kids and its Sunday afternoon/evening, when told about this the owner shrugged it off saying he couldn't hear the music, it was loud. Finally tried Hamburger hut after multiple people recommending it and I hate to say I was so disappointed. First off the cashier at the front made ordering so complicated. I asked for the classic hut and she was trying to explain to me that it didn't come with lettuce and tomato but she just pointed at the menu and wasn't verbally saying it. Second my boyfriend and I ordered 2 fountain drinks and their soda machine wasn't working. We let the staff know not once but twice. The second time my boyfriend went up to the people behind the bar which were two gentlemen and before he could finish telling them, they said "we know it needs to be fixed" the entire 45 minutes we were there it was never fixed. The food was okay. It was very disappointing. We left a tip because you pay when you order and had heard great things so we definitely thought it would be a good experience but it wasn't.
