    Fudge Brownie ala mode

Awesome dinner earlier this evening. Service was great and food was also delicious. Large and open dining area which gives plenty of seating. Desserts were gigantic and a great way to end the meal. We got the Beer Belly Burger which has Iberico Pork Belly, Beer Cheese, Caramelized Onion & Hop BBQ on Fresh Brioche and the Vegan tacos. We also ordered the Brown Butter Pierogis. For dessert, a brownie with ice cream and bread pudding ala mode. Will definitely eat here again soon!

    Cheesesteak (very good)

I walked in here thinking it would be 3 stars and change most likely. But with a tip from our waiter I selected a 4 star or higher cheesesteak. It contained real shaved steak, onions, peppers, mushrooms and provolone on a soft( possibly IPB) torp. On its own this was a great sandwich, but here it comes with great fries too. My uncle enjoyed his beer burger almost as much as I did my own choice, he even had about half of it leftover. It was a quiet time on our Saturday late lunch, but service was still prompt and very helpful. I didn't partake but the tap list did have me considering a taste of something. There are many local options on tap and in cans. Decor is sparse and industrial, but that seems to fit this location. Check in on Yelp for $5 off of $25, or if a neighbor check your coupon mailer for the same offer.

Ate here recently. It has a really nice interior. The service was great the wait staff was very attentive. Arrived early and there weren't many people in there so I you don't know what it's like later in the evening. The menu was somewhat interesting and little on the pricey side. We paid $12.99 for the calamari which definitely had a different take. Perfectly round (not a good sign), breaded calamari on a bed of what appeared to be a mix of chopped cabbage and carrots, drizzled with what tasted like sweet mango sauce and tangerines. It was interesting and tasty, but I don't think I would order it again. I'm usually just looking for a piled up plate of crunchy tender calamari with a dipping sauce. Next I had the turkey burger with brioche bun, that looked warm and buttery. I'm avoiding obvious carbs so packed it away so hubby could make himself a sandwich with it the next day the next day. The burger was tasty and not dry like some turkey burgers. They had quite a selection of locally sourced beers and the staff cheerfully let hubby sample quite a few. I ended up buying a flight of IPAs and one dark ale with a sample of Guinness. Disclosure: Wrote this review some time ago and just found it to post. So the menu may have changed.

This place is unfortunately a hit or a miss. The reason it is a miss is because the food is sometimes food and at other times it's not good at all. It is also FREEZING cold in here. The air conditioning is on all year round. When I mentioned how cold I was last time I was eating lunch here, they were unable to change the temperature because "the manager likes it to be cold in here for herself" word for word the response. The server seemed upset she had to work in such cold temperatures, but pretty much shrugged it off as "what can ya do". She was very sweet and attentive. The pretzel we ordered was as hard as a rock and we had to send it back. We ate with our coats and hats on I kid you not. There was nearly no one in here when it used to get more packed. I'm not a fan and many times thinking of going here to eat I changed my mind because of the cold temperatures and the inconsistent food quality. I won't be back for a while and it such a shame.

    Beautiful bar and great surroundings!

Please been to this place about 12 times and I have to say, the beer and the service are absolutely elite. Waldo is an amazing bartender/manager. Their beer is quite unusual and food is excellent, I can taste the quality even in their salads! Highly highly recommend it to people who are specific about their craft beer and who want a lovely environment. We are now coming here once or twice a week and are thrilled about the place!

    To go Pulled Pork Tacos
    Jerry P.

Take Out Review: My wife had a girl's night out here, and being the wonderful wife that she is, brought me home dinner when she returned. She decided that the pulled pork taco looked to be right up my alley, and ordinarily she would have been correct, except these ones were awful. Pork was chewy and laden with fat and gristle. The corn tortillas were gummy and disgusting. I asked her if it had been sitting before she came home, but no, she ordered it as they were leaving and it was handed to her as she went out the door. Can't speak for the eat-in experience or product, but the to-go product was terrible.

My husband and I were driving to NY on a Friday, and we were looking for a decent place for lunch and some beers after several hours already in the car. We didn't want to just do fast food or a rest stop. We decided to give Hamilton a try, and we were definitely pleased with our decision. We both had burgers, which were well seasoned and cooked decently. We both ordered medium doneness: mine was spot on; hubby's was slightly more done than medium, but he was still very happy with the doneness. Fries were good and came out piping hot! Really nice beer selection, including local and other domestic options.

They were complemented with cocktail sauce, watermelon mignonette, and fresh grated horseradish. * Crab Salad Special: Served in a martini glass. It featured cold, chilled crab marinated with tequila, triple sec, and lime, carefully laid on a bed of avocado mousse with an Old Bay-lined rim. Delicious and refreshing during a hot summer evening. * Tri-Color Beet Salad: A roasted beet and citrus salad with whipped ricotta and a pistachio honey vinaigrette that provided rich bites. * New York Strip: Sourced from Allen Brothers in Chicago. A showstopper with excellent crust and beef flavor. We ordered the Au Poivre sauce, which was tasty, but the steak was so good on its own that I ended up using the sauce for my sides! * 14 oz Center Cut Filet: Also sourced from Allen Brothers. Tender as expected with a wonderfully executed crust. * French Bordeaux Wines: We ordered the Chateau Loudenne Medoc and the Chateau De Sales Pomerol. Both were tasty, medium-to-full-bodied, and served as excellent accompaniments to the steaks. * Tuna Special: Nicely seared tuna served over vegetables and udon noodles. * Limoncello Pistachio Tiramisu: Very light and a nice end to the meal. * Kentucky Butter Cake: Served in a cast-iron pot with vanilla ice cream. Yummy and rich.   THE SERVICE Our server, Gene, has been with the restaurant for 8 years and provided exceptional service. He was knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations, pointing out standout options like the pastrami-dusted bone-in filet and the 45-day aged tomahawk topped with a root beer bourbon bacon compound butter.   OVERALL A great steakhouse experience with a highly professional staff and a kitchen that flawlessly executes high-quality steaks. But I was wrongly under the impression that they had been taken over by an Italian spot that's really just a stone's throw away. I even had to ask the waitress who realized my mistake and said she wouldn't be insulted if we left. But, interestingly enough, I also knew Renee from that same youth, so I decided to stay. My uncle had wanted Italian food, and there was some on the menu. He selected fettuccini Alfredo with sausage added. I saw pirogi as an app and knew I'd have to order, I also had a cheesesteak. He really enjoyed the pasta and commented on how good the sausage was. He was happy to take home half of it and the side salad that came with it. I was pleasantly surprised by the pirogi, they were the smallest I've ever had but were very tasty. A mild cheese filling with good dough( NOT pasta dough) with some seared to a golden brown. It came with lightly sautéed red onion in a butter sauce, not bad either. My steak sandwich was on the small side but at $9 and coming with good fries, I was fine with that. It was good too, I'd get either again. This is kind of a hybrid I guess, part neighborhood bar(at lunch time we were the only guests in dining room, maybe 6-8 at the bar), part liquor store and part casual dining spot. This Inn also has quite a bit of history. Renee was a great hostess/waitress and it was good to see someone from my past, which I sometimes think was largely hallucinated. I plan on revisiting.....
