Stayed here last weekend. Great customer service at the front desk. Our room was not ready yet,(because we got there early) and we wanted to go do some things, we were given our room keys so when we returned we could just go up and relax. Very clean hotel and nice room. Slept well. Close to the freeway and gas stations as well as restaurants. Good continental breakfast in the morning. Nice selection of food, coffee and juices. Check out was quick and easy, just handed the receptionist our room keys and our receipt was emailed to me. We plan on coming back again next time we're in Barstow. read more

Nice place. Clean, comfortable, updated rooms with comfortable bed and nice linens. We could hear the guy coughing nextdoor, but it wasn't unbearable. Air conditioner was a bit loud, but we overlooked that because everything else was so nice. They serve cookies and coffee all day, free breakfast. My next stop was the Hampton inn and suites in Barstow. Location was beautiful room, price was right great huge breakfast. Many choices great Selection of quinine. Hot tub swimming pool. Please upgrade to the larger carts available at other Hampton Inns. Our experience was generally good. However, the breakfast experience left a little to be desired. When we arrived, there were no eggs or potatoes or fruit. When I brought it to the lady's attention, she was super friendly. But, once you're behind, you are behind. When she brought out the eggs and potatoes, she didn't bring a lot and they were quickly consumed by some of the people who were waiting. Then everyone else arriving had to wait, too. I realize that the pace of guest arrival at breakfast varies, but that is why the attendant needs to be ever vigilant. Hard boiled eggs are cheap and easy to make in advance. They should always be available for people in a hurry to hit the road. read more

Great hotel! My mom and I showed up early, and the manager whose name I am blanking on was totally okay with it and really friendly. I guess the one con would be that she said it would be about twenty minutes before our room was ready but it took more like forty. When we headed up to our room (you can take either the elevator or stairs) we were pleasantly surprised at how large it was. Couch, lounge chair, desk area, two beds, bathroom, and closet. Everything was very clean! I took a relaxing bath, and slept extremely well in the bed. Big windows as well, nice to be able to look out. Breakfast the following morning was very good. You can make waffles, and there is also sausage, eggs, potatoes, yogurt, oatmeal, tea, coffee, etc. No complaints! Well, besides that they use plastic utensils. Seems like it would be more environmentally friendly to have regular utensils to wash. One negative thing is that it does not seem like the hotel is very close to many restaurants. I heard someone ask the person at the reception desk where to head to dinner and she said Chili's was the only close restaurant. We headed to Idle Spur's which was maybe 15 minutes away, and worth it! The hotel is close to the freeway and several other places, like gas stations if you need something quick. If I head to Barstow again, I'd stay here! read more

We had an excellent stay here at the Hampton inn. The rooms were clean, the lobby was clean, and the breakfast was decent. The staff members were also friendly with us and our dog. Couldn't really ask for more from them. read more

I stayed here the night before I visited ft Irwin. The room was nice clean and quiet. Wifi wasn't that good in my room. Breakfast wast typical continental nothing special in there. It's a good nice place to stay, nothing exceptionally good nothing to complain. Rangers outlet mall is right across the street for an evening walk. I would book this hotel again as I have Hilton Honors membership and none other in the vicinity do. read more

Stiff price hikes. New staff still figuring it all out. Dizzy and disorganized. Check-in time 3 but room not ready until 5PM. 2 hour wait to get our room empty hotel, empty parking lots and the business was slow. Breakfast supposed to start at 5 AM which would be outstanding for all the travellers waiting for it to open, but never happens. Expect it to be ready at 6 to 6:30. Shame. Bring a printed copy of your reservation, they had no record of ours. read more

Staid here with my family on my way to Vegas.. Loved the rooms.. The beds were very comfortable. I only staid for 1 night.. My husband did forget his Shaving gel and razor.. He went downstairs and they gave him both items for Free.. The breakfast area is a good size.. You can charge your phones from the table counter.. They had a large selection.. I Loved it.. read more

Called to book a room at our favorite hotel chain and were told every room at this location is a pet friendly room. Nothing against animals, we've had our share of beloved pets, however I am allergic to all cats and most dogs and after resigning to pet rooms in the past have decided no more as the smell is terrible! read more

I stayed here for the Lights Festival. I wasn't sure what to expect because I have never stayed in Barstow; it has been more of a pit stop to or from Las Vegas. The front desk was very friendly, offered water and let us know that cookies are available after 4 PM. She asked us why we were in town and I explained about the Lights Festival and apparently most of the guests here that night are here for the same reason! When we returned from the Festival, she acknowledged us and chatted with us a little more. Hotel room was clean. There was a mini fridge and microwave. It got really cold last night because we are in the desert and I was by the window so I had to figure out how to turn the heat on. There is also a gym on the first floor if you want to get your work out on. Continental breakfast is available. I also received AAA discount. read more

Well I'm Going to say that this place has the best of the worst working here and I am Saying this based on. The experience I. Had dealing Don. Don had zero compassion for a young lady who was stranded with no place to go I called to ask if they could help. My 18yo daughter with a room so she would not have to be out in the middle of no where late at night alone that I would pay over the phone or when I got there however many hours it would take me to get there she said NO DIDNT CARE about what we were going through I asked what my daughter needed to get a room She said. Tell her to go somewhere else like the holiday inn and started laughing and hung up On me I called back to ask her name and that was would be yelping that encounter me calling whoever I needed to get her properly Trained she needs obedience training that's for sure I will say thanks for recommending the Holliday inn because I didn't even have to tell the gal at the front desk everything that was going on just that my kk daughter was in need of a room that I was on my way from whittier and she said not to everything would be ok by the time I got here my daughter was in the room and all her belongings too. Have stayed at this hotel twice and it is always the best I stay at during my road trip. Not crowded at all and check in is fast. Complimentary cookies and lemonade in lobby. Pool and gym stay open late. Breakfast is also not crowded and has a lot of options, including waffles and French toast. The staff here is Amazing!! Kind, profession, approachable. I stayed 9 nights during the COVID-19 Quarantine and the took extra care to sanitizer the lobby every hour. They put out hand sanitizers for us. Just over all great care and clean!! read more

Well I have stayed in several hotels in Lenwood as it is a stopping point for me / us when we leave the coast and head to Vegas and beyond. My days of 10 hour drives are over for sure. Having also stayed in a few places in Barstow (only a few minutes down the road) I definitely like Lenwood a whole lot more. The Hampton Inn is at the end of the road as you pass all the restaurants after getting off on lenwood road. The place is New and really spic and span. Clean Clean. The checkin was so easy and prompt. The room I had was huge and quite spacious. the shower and bathroom had everything I needed and I was very happy with my stay. Parking was easy too. I just have all good things to say about my stay here. My new Favorite in Lenwood. read more

I stayed here four nights for work. Pros- clean, comfortable bed, nice staff. I chuckled each time they asked "how was work today?" Cons- no water pressure in shower and you can here every foot step above you. Get a room on top floor or anticipate being woken up by the elephants above you. read more

A perfect pit stop on the road. I've stayed at many Hiltons across the brand and this one has by far beaten them all, without the big price tag. I've also done east to west coast several times, so I'm seasoned in the horrors of resting and finding somewhere clean and of value along the way. We stayed with kids and a dog, late check in. The staff were so kind, human and caring not at all clinical or over professional, as many can try to be. Room very comfortable and clean, everything was easy and accessible. Free toothbrush or whatever you have lost on the way, it's the little things that can save the parents sanity Breakfast was free, which makes a big difference as a family. Dog welcomed too. Stayed for one night before heading to Ft. Irwin the next day. Check in was smooth, the room was a tad small, however, the bathroom was really large. We were given a room with no bathtub( sad face). We set the alarm and it never went off, thankfully we set a backup alarm. The Wifi was decent. Breakfast was standard, eggs with chopped sausage, peppers. Tasted just like the filling from the 1.00 Mcdonald's breakfast burrito. They also had sliced kielbasa, lots of cereals, hot oatmeal, breads, muffins, yogurt, fruit, hardboiled eggs and make your own waffles. There is something for everyone. Cockroaches. That's all I need to say. I travel for my job so I stay in all sorts of hotels. This was my first stay in Barstow, and will be my last at this property. Not only did I find a cockroach crawling on my curtain in my room, but the customer service was highly disappointing when I reported it upon check out. I showed the guy the photo of what was in my room and I was offered a discount on my room, but then the guy didn't adjust my bill. Also I asked a manger to call me today, and no one has called. Very poor customer service. Where there's one cockroach there's bound to be more and I expect a clean hotel at the VERY least. read more

All potential guests should be aware that there is a recreational area across the street where dirt bikes, ATV's and off-road vehicles are operated AT ALL HOURS OF THE NIGHT. I could not sleep due to the engine noise made by these vehicles. The room was clean and parking was adequate, but be wary of staying here if there is a crowd of off-roaders gathered across the street as the noise is extremely detrimental to sleeping. read more

I was very pleased with my stay. I really appreciated the cleanliness of the room. The hallways even smelled like soap. One of my regular stops on my road trips from CA - NC. It's a good location, near plenty of food and shopping and is pet friendly with places for them to do their business. The staff is helpful and friendly and the rooms are clean, comfortable and their fridges include mini freezers which are great to keep my blue ice frozen for the next day's travels. read more
