Guests beware! This is the absolute worst hotel in the Hilton portfolio I have ever stayed at. The air conditioner in our room was not working. The maintenance person came after a while to "fix" it and said it would be fine after briefly examining it. The unit was never fixed and the hotel would not provide us an alternate room with a functional A/C, so we were forced to sleep miserably at 80 degrees. The inexcusable part is that the room came with a broken, dirty floor fan, which suggests that management already knew something was wrong with the A/C unit and allowed the room to be booked anyway. I have seen other reviews here and on Google reporting issues with air conditioning, which is alarming. These rooms also don't have refrigerators or microwaves, which is unheard of in 2023 and for how much this place charges.

I went to a event at the Birdcage so this was very convenient since the venue is about 7 minutes away. You have to take the elevator to the 2nd floor to check in. Valet is on the first floor if you need it. When you check in there is this hotel on the right and another one on the left. Complimentary coffee and tea is available and I was given a bag with waters which was so kind. At check in which was so good I was informed that breakfast would be served in the lobby area and that I could go to both to eat. I had to rush to get to my flight but I'd planned ahead I know that I would have been very happy. The room was nice. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom and shower was nice. There was a chair and desk. Nothing fancy. Food options nearby like a chipotle that I ordered online and got pickup. I think there is a code in the elevator to get delivery with no fee?

This is the worst motel ever I stayed in . Do not stay here we were in a wedding party 12 rooms reserved . The mother of the bride with medical issues was reserved 2 bed , accessible for two females given a non accessible king, on 14 th floor at the total end of 2 hallways the elder uncle a vet was supposed to have a suite not a small king. Tried to get all straight the rude Heather at desk said I can't do anything we are booked Nothing done . We had 2 night stay. The elevators get locked when u use have to try to press floor hold key card to hotel scanner. NOT Well she n I got stuck in elevator twice had get help, the uncle got locked in called help she said it will take 40 minutes to get him out , the fire department had to come with their equipment to pry door open. There is no instructions given at desk checking in of any kind not told there was a bar inside, no restaurant inside. Closest one is about 2-3 blocks away. HAVE TO WALK Handicap can't walk that far. The so call breakfast bar is horrible cold potatoes, eggs , ridiculous. This hotel is so old when I entered it like going into a morgue, or Transylvania. ALSO HAD TO PAY OVERNIGHT PARKING $42-49 a night was supposed to be only $20. One last thing mother of bride and uncle never received her bridal discounts . DONT STAY

Interesting building not one of the cleanest Hilton properties I've ever stayed at. Bathroom had mold in the shower head and gaskets, hallway carpets were filthy and the elevators were not all secure. One elevator was missing both card readers so anyone from the street could gain access to the whole building.

In town for a Reds game as part of a four day, four game trip jaunp. Overall very cool set up inside an older repurposed building right on the cusp of a rougher part of town and the part that is being renovated. There were several food places nearby like skyline chili which I never got to, and shops as well as the business type district and the ball park. Staff was incredibly friendly, building and rooms were clean and awesome!

Room was really nice and very clean. Parking was $42 a night and that's not included in the description of the hotel when choosing. Free breakfast was delicious. Disappointed there was no mini fridge or microwave. No cups to use if you wanted some water. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. We'd stay again if in the area.

Would like to see more attention to detail when cleaning the showerhead. Yuck!

I'm not going to post tons of pictures because there are plenty of others already posted that accurately represent the hotel. I had a pleasant stay. The hotel interior is nice and clean. The room was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. My only complaint is that I would like to see a little more attention to detail in regards to cleaning the showerhead. I understand that deep cleaning a shower is not a daily task, however mold/mildew should never be left to build up on the shower head. I'm probably pickier than most since I have done professional cleaning in the past, but how clean can you feel when the water you're showering with is coming out of a showerhead with buildup on it. Now back to a more positivity. The free breakfast was excellent. They had a nice variety of options. Potatoes, eggs, pastries, waffles, fruit, smoothies were some of the selections. The gentleman overseeing the dining room (Ron) was absolutely wonderful. He was very kind and took time out to chat individually with everyone. We even found out a few cool facts about the hotel building (the show WKRP in Cincinnati was filmed on the 4th floor). He managed to chat with everyone while keeping the dining area clean and removing used plates, cups, etc. I even saw him personally make a waffle to order for a young guest. Towards the end of breakfast he asked the group if anyone was checking out that day. To all that responded yes, he personally that us for coming and let us know he appreciated our business. I thought that was a very kind gesture that I have not experienced with any other hotel stays. Valet parking is offered for $30. I saved $7 by going to the self-park garage directly across the street. ($21 for 24 hours). Overall a very nice hotel. I had a great stay and highly recommend. Going with 4 stars only because of the showerhead.

Normally, I find hotel food is just okay and nothing special, but Coppin's was a pleasant surprise. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess, and our equally pleasant server quickly brought menus and asked what we would like to drink. When it was my turn, I happily ordered Coppin's Old Fashioned. I was the odd man out because everyone else ordered the Spring Manhattan. Judging by how quickly everyone's drinks disappeared, I'd say they were all very tasty. I was a little unsure about mine at first, so to make sure the quality and taste were consistent, I ordered a second, and it definitely was not a mistake. I ordered the B+G biscuits (which are made by hand according to server in the hotel) and gravy with an extra egg. Others at the table chose a variety of dishes, including the CVG, Cobb Salad, Bagel and Lox, and several other selections. Based on the clean plates all around the table, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. My wife ordered a sample of banana bread, and I was fortunate enough to snag a small bite, it was excellent. After we had all finished, everyone agreed that my niece had made an excellent choice for her graduation celebration brunch. As my wife and I made our way back to Louisville, we both commented that we would definitely return the next time we were in Covington.

I ended up being in the North Building and cracked up when I walked into my room and saw I was in one of the Lightwell Lofts (a few of us ended up in them by chance, guess they included them in our room block lol). While the room was super cool and beautiful, there was a lot to be desired. After taking a million photos of the gorgeous room, I quickly realized a major flaw - the bedroom is upstairs, the bathroom is downstairs, and the staircase between the two is a crazy narrow spiral staircase. As someone that gets up to pee in the middle of the night, having to traverse the spiral stairs was terrifying lol. One of my coworkers actually swapped with someone who had a "normal" room because he was worried about falling down the stairs. My downstairs tv wouldn't turn on. I fiddled with the remote a bit, tried rearranging the batteries, but couldn't turn it on. I used the ipad in the room to put in a maintenance request, but no one came. I figured I would just let the front desk know when I headed out to dinner that night. Hours later, the front desk calls me to see if anyone had come to fix the tv - they hadn't. The girl was very nice and apologetic, she said I sent the request in the middle of a shift change and someone had accidentally marked it as complete. So she said someone would be right up, and he did come up. Handed me a handwritten note and a $25 coupon for Coppin's which was totally unexpected and a very nice gesture. Turned out, he knew exactly what the problem was - he said the remote was broken and he was supposed to swap it out but forgot. Gave me a new remote and all was good. He also mentioned there is a second remote upstairs for that tv. After he left, I went to look for it - there was no second remote. We held our meetings in the Scheper Room, which was also beautiful. The room was absolutely freezing the first day and I'm someone that prefers it a touch colder and was uncomfortable. We had to get them to update the thermostat and then in the afternoon it was way too hot. We had food brought in from the hotel and it was all fine, nothing super memorable. There was soup at lunch but the sign didn't even say what it was - just "chef's choice." The Italian hoagies were way too big and needed to be cut in half, I couldn't even finish half of one. The salad with fruit/pecans/etc was my favorite though. They had the completely wrong password on the tables for the Wifi but thankfully we figured it out quickly that we just had to use the room password. The second day for breakfast, there was yogurt on the menu and even on the sign with all the food - but there was no yogurt. Some of my coworkers were specifically asking for yogurt so we had to request it directly because it was included and paid for. Box lunches to take to go on the second day which were fine, I had the chicken caesar salad wrap. Housekeeping didn't come to service my room until 5pm when I was in there getting ready for dinner, so I was not able to get the room serviced. Just asked them for some more coffee. My conditioner in the shower was empty but I didn't bother reporting it after the tv issue and I had my own conditioner with me, so used that. The lotion at the sink was so thick that I could not get it out of the bottle at all, I had to use q-tips to get it out (it was nice quality, just kinda useless if you can't get it out of the bottle lol). Great local offerings on the mini bar and in the fridge. My coworkers and I got a kick out of the "intimacy kits" because we were on a business trip haha. The Magic 8 ball was fun, I loved the conversation cards even though I just read a few of them to myself haha. Even with the bedroom upstairs, it was nice to have the big double closet in the bathroom hallway so I really was just in the loft to sleep and kept all my stuff downstairs. The location is great, lots of fun stuff right nearby. The courtyard is lovely. I would say this is a solid 3.5 stars but since we can't give half stars, I'll give it a 4 because the staff was overall very nice and quickly fixed any issues, just a little annoying that we had any issues at all.

So my Bookings app brought up this place, which is close to the ballpark. So I booked it for 6/3. When I got there I was told there would also be a parking fee. It is what it is. I was given a room up high, maybe floor 13. Lucky me! I will note the view is the best part of this hotel. My view was of I75, meh, but it's still nice to look from above at cars and trees. I would have loved a view of the Cincinnati skyline, though. Well the vibe of the place is dark and there are warning signs about car break ins so I brought everything inside. The elevator was interesting but pretty small and the ride was shaky. When I got to the room it looked ok but definitely not that bright and welcoming. I thought a perk would be to go out on the balcony and check out the view. Unfortunately, the door was locked and the door wouldn't budge. I was able to see out the windows, but they could use a good scrubbing on the outside. I reminded myself that I wasn't there for the room I was there for ribs and baseball so didn't spend much time in that room. I was able to make it to ballpark and park then walk to the rib house and back to ballpark by the 2nd inning. I returned back to the hotel after stopping at the Plum Street Cafe which is near the 4th and Plum where I once lived. Driving back, however, my app sent me around downtown Covington until I realized I needed to turn in an unmarked alley by the gas station to enter the lot. To quote Run DMC It's tricky, tricky, tricky! I headed back to the room and then a darkish walk to the ice machine. I really think this place could use some updates or cut the price point from $152 to $75. The halls also echo in the night. On my billing statement that just came from Amex it indicated that I stayed there on 6/2 instead of 6/3. I didn't take many pictures since there are plenty online already. I did get an exterior shot at 10:34 the next day as I prepared to make the drive to Pigeon Forge, TN.

The room itself wasn't awful but the sheets were stained and the bathroom shower had no curtain or doors so water would get everywhere if you used it. The outlets were so loose it was hard to charge anything and the Internet was so unbelievably slow. We also ordered strawberries and champagne for Valentine's Day. We only got 4 strawberries and 2 of them were rotten. Avoid here at all costs.

Overall, I had a good experience and would stay here again, but it did have its pros and cons. I'll start with the cons because they were minimal... The valet was understaffed and it impacted my ability to get in and out when needed. They have a great texting system for contacting (and tipping) valets ahead of time and were upfront about asking to give them at least 30 minutes notice. Well, I did that and it still wasn't enough time. One time I notified them well in advance and my car was there, but I ended up waiting at least another 10 minutes for the valet to come back from getting another car before I could get my key. This meant it was upwards of 45 minutes of me waiting. Not ideal. The other con was that the room I was assigned the first night had the loudest humming sound coming from the bathroom that kept me up all night long. It wasn't the white noise that you can usually drown out either. I ended up using a sound machine app on my phone and it still didn't help. I called down to get a new room, which they were happy to do, even upgraded me, but I found it odd when they said they are aware of the issue, there just doesn't seem to be anything they can do about it. As for the pros... The location is prime time baby! Right downtown near restaurants, bars, coffeeshops, and the stadium, etc. It was very easy to get to being right off the major interstates that run through Cincy. Their staff were incredibly friendly. I wandered down to the marketplace in the lobby late one night to get a bottle of water and they gave it to me for free. Much appreciated! My rooms (plural since I had to be moved) were extremely clean, spacious, and comfortable. Both had a nice view, too. As I mentioned before, I would stay here again. I visit Cincy roughly two times a year for work, so I have no doubt I'll be back.
