I never go wrong with a Hampton Inn. And I am so glad I thought through my plans on where to stay in the Phoenix area. I am graduating this weekend from UAGC. And as much as I wanted to stay near the venue the cost was too much to consider. So I looked around and found this location. I love it. It's close to the highway. And not too far from the venue. Barbara was so sweet at check in. Everything about our room is awesome. And the bed is so comfortable. Breakfast this morning and coffee was delicious. We will definitely choose this location when coming to this area. read more

Service - Dani was a gem. She checked us in and was there upon our check out and her smile is just so calming. Very personable and great customer service. Breakfast - everyday they offer a variation of a meat, egg and potato dish. Their omelettes are pretty decent and their bacon is cooked to my liking not too crisp and not too limp. They also have make it yourself waffles, cereals, pastries/bread, white rice, oatmeal, fruit and yogurt. I wish they provided a milk alternative or at least upon request. They had a juice machine with OJ, Apple and water along with fresh brewed coffee and hot water for tea and hot chocolate. They keep the counters and tables clean and utensils stocked. The dining room is efficient with enough tables and chairs to accommodate the crowd. Gym - when I came down to workout I had to walk around the entry of a major water issue. Probably from the ceiling from the rain storm from night before. I was on the treadmill for almost an hour and within that time 3 employees peeked in to observe the issue but not one person put towels or a mop to soak up all the water. I almost did but it's not my job. The gym itself consisted of free weights, peloton bike, ellipticals and treadmill. They also a piece of equipment that you can workout different muscle groups. They provide towels as well. Room - we stayed in 202. Located right down from stairs so convenient for us. It was clean but the cleansing spray or product that is used to disinfect is very overwhelming that it would give me headaches. The only place in the room to put clothes away are the 4 drawers in the desk. They offer the standard amenities but if you forgot something they do have it for you if not there is a Walmart right around the corner. The bed and the pillows I didn't care for at all. I didn't sleep well for the 3 nights we were there but that was me. Also, you will hear the freeway traffic when quiet. Some of the tiles in the bathroom were cracked and the grout was missing. I stepped on small grout pieces and it didn't feel good. They don't clean the rooms everyday but they will come in to do garbages and restore towels. They only made the bed once. Stayed here for a week recently on a work trip and I have no complaints, this is a very nice Hampton Inn. My room was very nice and I received cleaning service daily. I slept pretty well on the bed and the pillows were comfortable and varied between soft and firm. The downstairs breakfast area is nice and they have a pretty decent breakfast daily which the hot items get rotated out from bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy etc. Parking is free and it's located close to grocery stores, a fun shopping area with stores and restaurants, and a couple hiking spots. The fridge in the room was a nice size, the only downside is no microwave in your room for leftovers, but the main floor does have one guests can use. read more

Day one Christmas Eve, arrived well met by courteous front desk. Christmas Day nice breakfast-next day horrific breakfast with sweet hot dogs and frozen omelette-but I got bumped by another guest and spilt my coffee. Of course I reported it to the polite front desk who came out with a towel, but then an older lady in housekeeping came out and started making jokes about the idiot who can't drive? I mentioned I was that idiot and my years in customer service taught me there was no good in insulting or belittling customers (I always referred to them as guests) to which I was again insulted by being told I had no sense of humor because I didn't appreciate her joke, which blamed ME for being bumped. I liked the room and everything until that last poor breakfast and that final rude representation of poor Hampton Inn customer service. read more

Wow. I've stayed at A LOT of Hampton Inns throughout the country and this has got to be one of the nicest rooms I've ever been in. I might've gotten lucky because I feel like they just remodeled this room bc everything is impeccably clean with new furniture. It also smells like the room was recently painted. It definitely feels fresh and makes the stay more enjoyable. Also, this hotel is located in a busy area with a lot of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Check in was easy and pleasant. Overall, I'm very hapoy with this stay and will be coming back here in the future. read more

Wow what an impressive greeting today after a looong drive from Las Cruces,NM. Our front desk customer service name Candice just greeted us with a wonderful smile welcome and my husband's name was posted as a "guest of the day"with a basket treat as a thank you. Being greeted and welcomed like that is a WOW!!! Kudos to this place! We had a free upgrade to a suite as well-- have no reason why but not complaining here-- just thankful and grateful. We appreciate it! A must stay here!!! We are heading to see Grand Canyon and this is a good stop over, accessible to stores (walkable)‍relax in a jacuzzi before heading to a great scenic view of GC. read more

If you like to party all night EVERY night without any water this is the hotel for you. We stayed there 9/17/2020-9/21/2020 on the fourth floor in a suite. The first night there were three rooms that had parties going all night long. There were teenage girls running and screaming as loud as they could up and down the hall at midnight too. I called the front desk and got their typical "we will ask them to be quiet" response. It took me going off on them to finally stop the screaming track-meet in the hallway. This went on for three nights! I tried to switch room but I was told I could pile my family that had a room with three beds into a room with one king size bed, keep that room, or get a different hotel. There were three big baseball/softball tournaments in the area so there were no more hotels available to accommodate our family size. So we were stuck. Unlike what is advertised on their website; there IS NO HOT BREAKFAST! You get a bag with a small bottled water, a mini-cake, and a small sugar filled fruit bar. But wait the dumpster fire of a hotel gets even better! After my son's last baseball game we went back to shower before the long trip home. That's when we found out the water was turned off to the entire hotel and they had absolutely no clue when it would be back on. So he had to sit in a car for 6-hours covered in brick clay until he got home. No discount... NOTHING other than a head tilted sideway "I'm sorry". There is one last detail that was extremely disturbing and a reason for the hotel to be shut down completely. They never cleaned the only elevator that was running the entire time we were there. The same spills and sticky spots on the elevator floor were there the entire time. There were just new sticky spots added to the disgust as the weekend progressed. By the second day you could hear your feet peel from the floor as you walked. During a pandemic how can they claim they sanitize anything when they can't even clean the enclosed box that every guest above the first floor uses? The Hilton brand really needs to consider removing the manager/staff or removing their name from that building. If you like to party ALL NIGHT, don't care about sleep, don't care about your temporary neighbors, or like over paying for a filthy hotel without running water this is the cesspool for you. Otherwise you would be well advised to look elsewhere. read more

Very convenient location near I-17. It is close to Thunderbird park for hiking, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, Victory Lane Baseball fields, the Anthem Outlets. It is also pretty close to Reach 11 soccer fields. They have a refrigerator in the room. Decent fitness area, see 2 pictures with dumbells, pulley machine, pullup bar, and some medicine balls. The breakfast area is good as well. Other than the normal waffles, they also have chocolate waffle batter which I have not seen at other hotels. They have a wide selection with fruit, cereal, oatmeal, bread products, some kind of meat, and egg and cheese on bagels. read more

Stayed here 2 years ago and thought it was really nice. Sadly it doesn't feel like it has been taken great care of since then. Sink and bathtub both drained incredibly slow, bathroom fan didn't work, fridge was frosted over and barely worked as well. It was clean, which I'll take over the minor annoyance of the other things. A small amount of TLC will have it back in great shape in no time. read more

This is the second Hampton Inn I've stayed at, and it was a very good hotel to spend two nights when I was traveling in Phoenix for work. The staff is very friendly, and the decor is nice, clean, and modern. I was on the top floor, in room 419 right by elevator, but I didn't hear any noise from the elevator. I actually got a little bit of traffic noise from the freeway outside, but I'm a light sleeper, so I tend to notice these things more than the average person. Buffet breakfast has plenty of items and is top notch. One evening I saw chocolate chip cookies out front, but I was too stuffed from dinner to eat any. Unfortunately, I was too busy on my business trip to take advantage of the fitness facilities or the swimming pool, but I think they would be nice to check out if you had some more time. The guy at the front desk also gave me a sheet with all the restaurants and shopping places near the hotel, but I didn't get to go on this trip. But it's nice to know that there are plenty of things to eat at and to go shopping nearby if you wanted. read more

This is a great business hotel! I stayed for one night here and it was very nice. Easy parking, right off the freeway. My room was huge! Great water pressure in the shower. Nice staff. Great air conditioning which is a must in Phoenix. The bed was SUPER hard, but as I'm traveling more I'm coming to realize that they are all that way unfortunately. The walls and floors here are thin and I could hear every word from the room next door and every footstep from the sasquatch upstairs. read more

This hotel is awesome! I have stayed here twice each for 6 nights over the past two months. The staff really made the difference. The manager even texted me to see how everything was going during my stay. Each time we were upgraded to a Suite. Which felt like it was 3 rooms sizes, so huge and awesome. The hotel was very clean, free breakfast was as expected. Also, free cookies are always nice. I had to leave early for business and they would give me a breakfast to-go bag each morning even at 5 A.M. It is very close to a huge shopping area with lots of restaurants. Typically never have an issue with Hampton Inn properties. This is not the case here. Room was dirty and the bathroom has hair all over it. Laundry facilities do not work. Hot tub does not work. Pool is green and dirty! Staff is not Friendly. It's a shame too because this was a vacation trip. There's is a Homewood suites next door, would recommend booking at that location. read more

I would like to say that the staff in this establishment are very polite, helpful, professional and pleasant. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had a slight issue with ac unit but the staff (Ashley, Candice and Wendy). We're very nice and saw to our issue immediately. The maids on our floor were always helpful and extremely sweet. Time are alright, not the cleanest. Beds not very comfy. TV setup needs alot of improvement. On a positive note, the light up mirror is great for makeup. However the shades don't shut so be prepared to wake up with the sun. Probably wouldn't stay again. read more

I absolutely love this hotel! Every member of the staff has been excellent on each of my visits. The rooms are clean, quiet, modern, and well sized; the breakfast is delicious, and you can't beat the free cookies! The pool, hot tub, and gym are also very nice. If you stay on the side that faces the front of the hotel, the sunset over the mountain can't be beat. They also choose a guest to be the Guest of the Day and you get your name on a welcome sign at the desk as well as a free snack from the Snack Suite. Such a simple, sweet, accommodating gesture. I enjoy staying here on my way to Sedona from Los Angeles; it's a great place to get refreshed after a long drive. This morning, I was greeted enthusically by the staff who seem to love their jobs and work very well together. It does my heart good to see this; I enjoyed their banter and team spirit! Also, this location has reinstated their hot breakfast buffet--yay! The last two visits (during Covid surge) they had put together a grab-and-go breakfast which was nice but it was not hot. mmm, maple sausage , cheese omelet, and much more!! The rooms are impeccably clean and comfortable, and the setting is peaceful-- a great place to rest but conveniently close to Highway 17 Kudos to the management for hiring great employees; please keep happy! read more

I'm a fan of the Hilton chain, and this hotel is another example of why. Reserved my room through their app, checked in while I was on the road to Phoenix, provided an estimated arrival time and received a digital key while still on the road. We were arriving late and needed to be up early the next morning, and I wanted to be able to go straight to the room rather than stop at the front desk. Since there were three of us in the room and only one king bed, I also requested a roll-away bed for my son. We were greeted as we walked in. I indicated we'd checked in online, and we were wished a "good evening." Everything was perfect. The room was immaculate, the roll-away bed was there and already made up for someone to sleep in, and nothing delayed our ability to get settled in. The next day we were out all day and came back to a clean and made up room, and my son was tickled to see the housekeeper not only made his bed up, but arranged the stuffed animals on his bed for him. A nice touch we've only seen from a few other hotels. We didn't get to enjoy the food service in the morning, but it smelled good and the room was full of guests, suggesting the breakfast was as enjoyable as it always is at other Hilton properties I've stayed at. Should you need it, there's also a LOT of shopping near this hotel--restaurants and retail stores of all kinds within just a few minutes by car. Very convenient! When the time came to check out, we swung by the front desk to confirm they knew we were leaving and to thank the hostess for a great stay. I was asked if I wanted a copy of my receipt, or if I'd like it sent to the email associated with my account, and I was thanked for choosing to stay at the Hampton Inn when there are always other choices available. Overall, this would have been a 5-star review. The only reason it's not is the noise of the nearby highway. There's nothing the hotel can do about this, and they're clearly positioned to take advantage of making access easy for those traveling by car. Nothing wrong with that, but visitors should know you'll hear traffic noise through the night. It wasn't bad enough to keep any of us awake, but definitely noticeable all the time. Unless you're bothered by road noise though, don't let it keep you from staying at this Hampton Inn. read more

I've stayed here twice for business trips (total of a month combined) and I would definitely come back again. What stands out to me is the staff. Everyone is super friendly from the concierge to the cleaning ladies. Anytime you have an issue, it is taken care of right away. The building isn't the newest, but you can tell that it is well taken care of. My room was always well cleaned (sorry to the cleaning ladies who had to deal with all my takeout food). The location is ideal right next to the 17 freeway and a ton of restaurants in the Norterra/Happy Valley shopping area. There is always plenty of parking. Breakfast is provided daily, which I really appreciated. I will say that you should book early because it seems that this hotel does get booked to capacity pretty often. read more

Edward at the check in desk was real nice and thorough. The paper they have the shopping center map on is incredibly helpful not just for map purposes. The room was ok. The sprinkler head sounds like a dogs collar clanging every time someone walks across the floor. But, the bed is soft and clean and the pillows are heaven. They have a great breakfast buffet spread now that Covid restrictions have lifted. They advertise the pool hours are 9-9 rn. However, we went at 915am and it was still chained closed. The front desk informed us we could go to next door hotel and use their pool. On our way over, the employee from the other hotel, Alfredo, asked us about our plans to use the pool. He saved us the trip indoors to get a keycard as he gave us his. Further, for whatever reason, he was holding a glitter pool noodle and donning a flower lei. He gifted us those too. We had an instant pool party!! The experience was fantastic and if Alfredo you read this, I am now challenged to carry the glitter pool noodle back home on the plane and the rule is I'm not allowed to deflate it. Very disappointing, we had a room block there for our wedding. We had a room that smelled of old fish, we called down to let them know, with the hopes of getting a new room. All they did was spray Lysol in it and called it good. The pool was so green and dirty you couldn't even see the first step in the pool. The morning we were planning on checking out, we went down to get breakfast as we returned to our room they took it upon themselves to throw away all our wedding things. Very upsetting they should be embarrassed how this establishment is ran. When we checked out to make up for the inconvenience they offered me a 15$ Dunkin' Donuts card. I have called corporate as well as sending multiple emails I have received no empathy what soever. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!! read more

Asked about where to get bags of ice for a road trip and they were like take as much ice as you want we have free machines here.. Rented a room for my son (July 30th). No complaints about the room until the TV remote was dropped between the nightstand and the bed. When he reached for the remote, he got a surprise - dog feces! Not a pleasant way to begin the day - kind of makes you question what other surprises you've been with all night! He didn't think to take pictures. When notified, we were given an apology but told they couldn't refund the room cost since it was booked through Hotels.com. Disgusting and disappointing to say the least. read more

Location: A Within walking distance or 3 minute drive of every type of food you could think of, groceries, breakfast, apparel, etc. Rates: A Very competitive. Breakfast: B+ Free and abundant. Need I say more? Intangibles: A+ Free internet, wired and wireless, plus their staff let me use a conference room for no charge for an hour plus for a business conference call i had to be on. We have stayed at this hotel several times because it is near where our daughter lives. Our most recent visit was just perfect. We recommend this hotel highly because of its excellent location, the extremely helpful attitude of the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms, the ease of internet access, and the average, yet plentiful breakfast. The cost is in line (not a bargain, but fair!), and ease of parking make this place just perfect for us. Our only complaint is that we prefer a refrigerator in the room.. read more

Stayed one night on 12/6 through 12/7/2011. The room was great, hotel staff was extremely polite and courteous. When we arrived in the evening, fresh oatmeal cookies and coffee had just been prepared. The rooms were quiet and very comfortable. This was our second visit this year. Here again for another softball tournament. (What can I say, my husband Love's to play ball and I love to stay at the Hampton) We stayed here this past weekend and when we entered our original room, it smelled like stale smoke. So I called down to the front desk to see if they could either move us (kept my fingers crossed) or send up some air fresheners. The attendant apologized and said, she would get some keys made up so we can check out a few other rooms. We quickly got moved to the one we felt was a lot better than our original room. They have a very friendly staff, they never lost their cool with us even after we got moved to our new room, then needed to be let back in to the old room to retrieve our phone charger (can't live with a dead cell phone) and then again our pillows we brought from home. This was our first visit on our way through Phoenix. The hotel is modern and clean. The staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgable. We were hungry from the long drive in with a cranky toddler. They gave us a great recommendation for delivery to our room and gave us two complimentary cups of milk for the baby. It was thoughtful and so appreciated. The room was huge and clean with beautiful views of the mountains. It actually feels like a little home with the cute kitchenette, little living area, etc. The bed and pillows were so comfortable I actually considered staying another night. After a long day of travel drama, there was nothing more refreshing than being greeted by quite possibly one of the nicest and most bubbly front desk staff you would ever meet.
