Jose tending to other guests as I relaxed in the shade next to a speaker enjoying the afternoon!

I greatly enjoyed the friendly attitude and exceptional service of Jose at the pool bar! The music was very laid back and despite the families enjoying the pool. The music was just right, excellent service, and great drink. A very enjoyable stay!

I've stayed here several times since it opened, and this most recent visit absolutely reminded me why I keep coming back. I was celebrating a milestone birthday and hoped for a special experience -- and this stay exceeded every expectation. After booking, I reached out through the "talk to us" email and immediately connected with Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants team member Donna. She matched my excitement right away and genuinely cared about making my birthday celebration memorable. Her thoughtful touches, warm communication, and generosity turned a great stay into a truly exceptional one. That level of personal hospitality is rare and deeply appreciated. The suites here are fantastic -- spacious, updated, and incredibly comfortable. I've previously stayed in the Presidential Suite and this time enjoyed the Arena Suite. The floor-to-ceiling windows are stunning, with beautiful mountain views plus amazing sunrises and sunsets. The decor feels modern yet inviting, with cozy nooks perfect for relaxing. The soaking tubs are always a highlight for me, and the double bathrooms make the space feel extra luxurious. Loved this suite. The location is another huge plus -- convenient to the airport, downtown, arenas, events, and major highways. Parking is refreshingly easy for the city, with both valet and self-park options. Conrad at valet was especially kind and professional, and Jessica at the front desk was friendly, welcoming, and informative -- both made a great impression. Amenities here really elevate the stay too. The outdoor pool is a great place to relax, and having the poolside bar Eden makes it feel like a mini getaway without leaving the hotel. Having Bluehound inside the hotel is another bonus -- great cocktails, good food, and a lively atmosphere (I'd just love to see a few more vegan options). The only small drawback is that the windows could definitely use better soundproofing. Being in a lively downtown area means you may hear nightlife, sirens, or general city noise. It didn't ruin my stay at all, but improved windows would easily make this place flawless. Overall, this visit was truly five-star from start to finish. When this property is at its best, it's exceptional -- and this stay absolutely was. Already looking forward to coming back.

Solid pet friendly hotel in a central location, no pet fees. However, no pet relief area. There is a dog park 2 blocks down (about 8 minute walk) with grass. Also some gravel areas nearby but just be careful of broken glass and dog poop. The city streets aren't the cleanest. Hotel was clean and quiet. Self park is $30 ish with in and out privileges. Note that if you ask for late check out, you'll end up paying extra because they don't give you extra time for self parking.

My go to hotel if I am ever traveling to PHX Arena for a WNBa game. Cannot beat location. Central to everything downtown and right across the arena. The staff is always friendly and efficient. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Options to eat/drink at the hotel with good food and beverages. They also have a happy hour with a complimentary beverage. Pool is decent size and half of it gets in the shade if it's too hot. There are some cabana style seats that are first come first serve. We did need parking one time and decided to self park. I don't think we found the easiest way to get to the garage, but that's on us. We ended up walking around the corner instead of asking for directions.

What a beautiful lobby and bar they have. I came to this hotel because I had a yelp event at the Blue Hound. This hotel is in a great location! I love that it's close to great restaurants, the light rail and mortgage matchup center! I'd love to stay here sometime after a game or concert!

I recently attended PMI Global Summit and the Palomor Kimpton was one of the preferred hotels. Excellant downtown Phoenix Location across from where the Suns play and walking distance to the Convention. Center. Restaurant and bar on site as well as many others nearby. ~ 15 min from airport Great service, friendly staff and extremly clean. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will consider other Kimptons in the future

We booked our hotel stay here with Amex hotel collections which allowed us to really enjoy the perks of the hotel. We spent a 4 day staycation here and enjoyed our stay. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom was so nice!! We got to enjoy the pool and the gym (complimentary passes to EOS). The best part about the hotel is their location was perfect. The Sun's arena is literally foot steps away. You literally don't have to worry about food because there's so many good food and bar options within walking distance. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a little staycation here and were very impressed. The guys at the front desk were really nice and gave us a free room upgrade and $30 dinner credit because our room wasn't quite ready when we showed up for check in. All of the staff was nice and accommodating. We really enjoyed the pool area and the giant bathtub in the suite.

Dylan the front desk person was fantastic, I was tired from traveling and he was patient with my requests. I didnt know where to park initially so circled the block and its down cityscape and get the ticket and trade it with Dylan to get a car tag. The Blue Hound restaurant was nice one of the guys reminded me of Diplo. The gym across the courtyard is on 2 and easy to use with the pass and has snacks for sale. Theres shops and a breakfast place out there too. The pool and cabinas are on the 3rd floor. The room itself was nice and clean.

Best pet amenities and policies ever -- we always try to stay at a Kimpton if there's one on our route. They even give you an info card for dog friendly restaurants and activities + best paths for a walk. If you forget something, chances are they gottt you! Huge list of items you can get from the front desk if you're in a pinch. We were in a Deluxe King room which had a great, spacious couch for our big fella. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable (as with all their properties we've visited) and the rooms are always clean + well stocked + always have fun little amenity or decor touches. Love you, Kimpton!

Stayed one night at Kimpton Hotel Palomar Phoenix for an event downtown, and it was a fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, the hotel had an amazing scent that set a welcoming tone. Our king room on the north end had great views of downtown Phoenix, making the stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was Eden, the rooftop bar on the 3rd floor--stunning city views, delicious cocktails, and a great atmosphere. Blue Hound Kitchen & Cocktails at the bar downstairs also had fantastic drinks and a great vibe. A unique perk of this hotel is the free happy hour from 5-6 PM with complimentary flatbread and wine--such a nice touch! Plus, the location is perfect, within walking distance of some of the best spots Phoenix has to offer. Would definitely stay here again!

Great hotel!! Morden, clean, reasonably priced, & convenient. No need to look at any other hotel when I'm looking to stay in Phoenix.

Lovely bathroom in the king suite. Lovely rooms.

Well, I stay here every year on my way to Santa Fe opera. The rooms are super nice and the staff for the most part are fantastic and helpful. Both Dillan and Daniel made my stay especially nice with great suggestions and kind service! IHG should be proud to have these two l! Yay

We have a reservation for 3 people for one night. Are we able to use the pool too or do we have to pay for passes?

I believe that's included for all hotel guests. Very pretty rooftop area! Remember your sunscreen too

We had breakfast on both Sat & Sun at Blue Hound restaurant, on the second floor, and that was remarkable too.

I booked a bungalow in the retreat area to have access to the 2 other temperature regulated pools. It was beautiful the retreat area is very nice, it's further away from Weft & Warp and the Turquoise pool so it quiet and relaxing. Maydeline at the Spa was very helpful and very in touch with guest needs. One step ahead everytime. Colin really saved the day with making sure we had everything we needed. Brennan was also really helpful at breakfast and bringing us water all the way to the retreat pool. There was a minor hiccup with requesting ice while we were there but they did take care of it and apologized the next day for it not being done promptly, the acknowledgement was great and it really was such a minor thing. They have lots of activities everyday that are included and they also have experiences you can pay for.

The hotel is inspired by the colorful and folk art influenced works of renowned mid-century modern architect and designer Alexander "Sandro" Girard. The hotel's bio says he was the main source of inspiration for the design of the Andaz Scottsdale. The property is beautiful to walk around, with all the landscaping, flowers and trees; some of them are marked with what kind of plant they are. There are century plants and aloe and various cacti. The fitness center is located at the spa. It has windows which open up onto the pool, which is a more private pool than the main pool. The staff is outstanding. Savannah, who ran the front desk on my most recent visit, is absolutely amazing and really helped with any questions or small issues with my stay. The restaurant is wonderful for the hotel breakfast. I recommend having cocktails there too. You can see a beautiful sunset from the bar. I love the open design of this hotel resort because it makes you feel like you're in the countryside and you can admire the beautiful views of Camelback as you walk around the grounds and hear birds chirping. It's so relaxing. Parking is easy and you can usually find a spot right outside your casita room as the parking circles the hotel. Toiletries in the room smell so good! Lavender with sea salt. It's really like staying in a spa! One of my favorite experiences at this hotel was taking a late afternoon outdoor class at the spa/gym on the large lawn where we did stretching/light resistance training with the the sunset behind Camelback Mountain as the backdrop. It was glorious. I definitely recommend trying one of the classes or "experiences" if you stay here. Some of them you have to pay extra for, but a few of them are included with your room rate. At first glance the hotel interiors and architecture seem extremely simple and minimal, but then you realize it's actually all a piece of mid-century modern inspired art. It's really fun to walk around and admire all the understated design details at this hotel.

I ordered 2 food items and pre paid for 3 beers the bill came out to $52.18 I didn't think much of it and even tipped 25% After I finished my third beer. I decided to order a cookie with ice cream and an old fashioned to take up to my room. Again I tipped 25% My phone has text alert and I noticed the bill was $42.62 for what should have been $22.00 max I bought it to my bar tenders attention and she was working things out on the registry and came back with a receipt that didn't have prices just my order but she had added 1 extra beer. I told her it was wrong and she said it wasn't that the first time she had only charged me for 2 beers and this was my third beer. I did not want to argue so I left it at that but I couldn't sleep thinking about it. I mean dang I even tipped her good. The next day I reached out. To management I don't mind taking care of my servers and I'm always a good tipper. But I don't like being taken advantage of because they think I had a few drinks. Or they think I won't notice extra things. This is not okay. The hotel you check into is supposed to be a safe place like home to enjoy a drink or two. The management offered to refund the first bill of 52.18. But I told him I just wanted what I was over charged refunded plus my tips. At this point I feel she had the chance to correct my bill and make things right but she chose to make me feel like I was in the wrong. After the manager added my first bill up after I told him what I had ordered it turns out she charged 4 beers the first time and not just my 3 and way over charged me the second time. This is a great place to stay but keep an eye on what you order. More so late at night. Also my hot wings were cold in the center but I didn't even mention it to her at the time. They also have housekeeping stuff at the front, dried lavender packs, and shower steamers in case you want a little something extra. The only drawback for me was how much noise there was outside on Camelback Road. I know they can't do anything about that, but it kept me up. So it's something to consider.

I was put in a room in the 17the or 19th building. I got lost a couple of times as it gets quite dark and the property is a bit of a maze. My friends were closer to the entrance. I think this is a good resort for meeting up with a group or family, though there were plenty of couples while we were there. Dining: TAQUERIA CENTRO -- 10 out of 10. The food and service were both exceptional. Manager Carlos did an outstanding job and was a true highlight of our stay. Prado -- 4 out of 10. We visited Prado twice during our stay. Our first visit was for breakfast -- the food was okay but noticeably overpriced for what was offered. Our second visit was a far worse experience. We were seated and waited 15 minutes without our server ever acknowledging us, so we got up and left. The service at this restaurant was consistently poor and the pricing did not reflect the quality or experience provided. Dining Options -- Room for Improvement. For a resort of this size and reputation, the dining options felt limited. We would strongly recommend adding at least one additional restaurant to give guests more variety. The snack and coffee shop, which could help fill that gap, closed far too early in the evening. Extending those hours would go a long way in improving the overall guest experience, particularly for those who want a light bite or a cup of coffee later in the day. The Room -- 6 out of 10. The room itself was nice, but there were several issues that fell well below the standard I would expect from a resort of this caliber. The bed was old and noticeably worn down, making for an uncomfortable night's sleep. To make matters worse, the comforter on the bed was torn and had visible holes in it -- something that should never make it into a guest room. We also struggled with the room temperature throughout the night and were unable to get it to cool down comfortably. A Bright Spot at Checkout: I spoke with Avery Williams, Director of Front Office, at checkout and she was genuinely outstanding. She was sincerely concerned about the issues we experienced and did everything she could to address them. She even followed up with an email after our departure, which was a very nice touch. Overall, I left feeling somewhat disappointed given the reputation of this resort. With a few improvements -- additional dining options, extended snack shop hours, updated room bedding and linens, and better temperature control -- along with a serious look at the service standards at Prado, this could easily be a 9 or 10 out of 10 experience.
