This was my first time staying in a hotel since the Pandemic. We were in Temecula for a friend's wedding. Booking was easy. I called and used a wedding code that my friend had for guests. Check in was easy. The rooms were clean. I appreciated the fridge and microwave they had. The continental breakfast was pretty good for that type of breakfast. They had sausage, eggs, cereal, baked goods, oatmeal, etc. It was a spread. You can even make your own waffle. They had an assortment of drinks. They even had hot drinks available throughout our stay. One time we came home in the evening and got hot tea. It was nice. There's a little area to buy snacks and things that you might have left at home. Checkout was easy. Parking was free. We would stay here again. read more

We stayed here feb 12-13 to attend a family wedding . Parking is free .Check in was fast and easy , staff was super friendly . Our room was pretty clean for the most part but some things could be upgraded furniture wise . We stayed away from the upholstery chair look pretty dark on the chair arms . We like that it had a mini fridge and microwave . The breakfast was was absolutely great they had so many options oatmeal bar , waffle bar , eggs, sausage, potatoes , bagels , muffins , cereal , fruit the list goes on ! Pass until the construction is done. We stayed 3 nights and it was 3 nights too long. The entire hotel is under major construction and everything looks quite horrible. The construction workers (some anyway) live onsite so they work from 6am to 8:30pm and are in the hallways, parking area, breakfast room, laundry room ($4 to wash and $4 to dry btw!!!), etc. They are all over and really interfere with the guests b/c they are offloading stuff, making noise and so on. The staff is blah -- probably one of the least friendly staff members we've encountered at a Hampton. The breakfast was cold every day and never monitored ; the woman in charge of the breakfast was hiding the back most mornings and never came out, so stuff was cold and not refilled. The place seems to get conventions/meetings regularly so there are people wandering all over all times of day/night. The walls are so thin you might as well be sleeping with the people next door, you can hear everything, literally. The parking is safe and plentiful. The location is amazing - close to Old Town, 15 minutes from the wineries, on the footpath of fast food and 1 minute drive to Target. There is a Hilton on the adjacent property so maybe try that instead. The room was average/ok and 90% clean so that was fine. Maybe when it's renovated in a few years it'll be better but for now, just don't book. read more

I stayed here with my family for two nights. What can I say that has not been written - not much. I was very pleasantly surprised at the overall stay. After reading various reviews I settled on this hotel because of the location and price. It was very clean, the room was comfortable and spacious (two queen beds), and the staff was very friendly! The microwave and BIG fridge (dorm size, not the mini ones) were a definite plus. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room also had free wifi, which allowed you to run multiple devices, I think we had 6 going at one time. We also enjoyed relaxing and watching the 32" flat screen television with DirecTV as the cable provider. I think the breakfast was fantastic, and had a real variety of foods and beverages available. The waffle maker was great, my girls gave it a go and pulled off perfect waffles! The kitchen is right behind where they serve, so there was a staff member constantly replenishing what was out. This was a legit breakfast, not some lame fruit and cereal type continental breakfast. One oddity, how are you located in wine country and you don't have bottle openers in the rooms? I also used the workout room which was adequate. Overall I definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again. read more

Actually really unhappy how I was treated as a Gold member, as well as a Am Ex Surpass member. To check in and not be upgraded, after even asking is an embarrassment to myself & your hotel. As well, I understand everyone is adjusting to Covid but the "breakfast" included in our stay was so sad. Nothing fresh or healthy, instead boxes of cereal & pop tarts? Come on HILTON, as a long time member & guest, I really expected more. If a gold/surpass card holder checks in & there are rooms available, you should upgrade them. I also put a note on reservation that it was husbands birthday & nothing special was done. This won't be my hotel of choice in Temecula again. read more

The best experience Ive had at any hotel! Stayed here from 27th-30th for my bf birthday. We had the king suite with whirlpool (the whirlpool was the selling factor for me because little to no rooms offer this for reasonable prices). From check in to check out the front desk staff were FANTASTIC! Since it was my bfs birthday I really wanted to do something special for him . I went to the front desk with a beyond crazy request , which was to have them decorate our suite with all the decorations I had bought there with us. I literally drew out exactly what I wanted. I honestly expected them to look at me crazy and say no lol which would've been fine because I understand, but to my surprise not only did they accept but they did EXACTLY what I wanted with smiles . It was beautiful and my bf loved it!! So shoutout to the staff at this hotel, they are THE BEST!! read more

Very new and nicely decorated hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The grounds and we'll maintained and clean. There's 24 laundry on site. Don't go home with dirty clothes. Also the gym is pretty large for a hotel chain and 24 hours. If your creative you can get a range of workouts in. The breakfast and selection could be a little better but hey it's free breakfast. More like 3.5 stars. Stayed at the Hampton Inn for a wedding. Pleasantly surprised by the service and complimentary breakfast from 6am-10am. The breakfast included hot food (potatoes, sausages, omelets) in addition to waffles, oatmeal, cereal, and various bread items. The food was just ok - but better than the average complimentary breakfast. Not important to me, but be aware that this is not a full service hotel so there is no help with luggage or room service. Location 5/5: Near old town and close to gas stations and strip malls in the area. Very convenient. Visit Penfold's Cafe down the street! Room 3/5: The rooms did not have a lot of natural lighting and we needed the lights turned on during the day. Very clean with Neutrogena toiletries. The bed was a 2/5. It was wayyy too soft. In my king bed, I slept 2 feet away from my partner to avoid sinking into a dip. My friends who also stayed at the Hampton Inn experienced the same softness in bed and also had difficulty sleeping due to the mattress. Overall, this is a good stay due to location and spaciousness of the rooms. I value my sleep so I will stay at another place next time. Okay, so this isn't the Four Seasons, but for the hotel class that it is, it couldn't be better. My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights after our tax season ended. We reserved a jacuzzi suite with a king bed, which was only about $30 more than a regular room. The room was large, with a sitting area and bar sink/mini-fridge/microwave. The bedding and pillows were great quality. Everything was clean and modern. One of the things I liked the most was the breakfast in the morning. Yes, most of these hotels offer breakfast, but this one was a notch above most of them. The entree items changed daily, which was nice. It's not the same egg/soggy sausage that many hotels offer. The free parking and wi-fi were great pluses too. I liked it so much, that I'm planning to seek out other Hampton Inns when I travel! read more

This is the second time we have stayed in a Hampton Inn in the past month & both times were nothing that inspires confidence. The first night our tv had no way to change the input so the front desk had to come into our room to fix it since they only have ONE remote & knew that many of their tv's were not working. Went to take a shower after the that to see the pictures below. COMPLETELY DIRTY. To what looked like dirt and urine, I was not about to find out. We never once touched the shower and this is what it looked like in the room we had maybe spent 15 minutes in at that time. Nasty especially during times like this. Second day, we went up all three floors looking for ice which all of them were broken. Then our remote control batteries were out so front desk had to come back to our room to replace them. To what took twenty minutes at 11:30pm. Did I also mention the thin walls with screaming children at 7am? Lovely. read more

Stayed here last weekend for our annual wine country trip. Usually, we stay at the Springhill Suites next door, but I had a free night at the Hampton Inn. Overall, I was extremely pleased. We already knew how close this was within walking distance of Old Town which is why we chose it. We had a king suite which had a sofa sleeper and leather rocker recliner. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. I liked the lap desk they provide in each room to guests. The room also had a fridge, microwave and small kitchen sink. The hot breakfast was standard fare but I definitely felt fulfilled. As other reviewers mentioned, they keep their coffee stocked all day which I loved. Especially because they also keep the sugars and flavored creamers stocked all day, too. A nice touch was the free breakfast bags to go that were stocked at the front desk. We grabbed a few on our way back to Phoenix and each had a bottle of water, apple, muffin, cereal bar and mints. So cool! The pool area was also standard and towels abundantly stocked. It wasn't until the end of our pool time that we realized there was a restroom by the towels. Our drunk men kept going back into the hotel restroom. The hot tub could have been hotter but it was still relaxing. Hotel staff were extremely friendly, too. read more

I just stayed at this property over the weekend and I have to say I was extremely please with the service. The staff was outstanding, professional, and always willing to help. Their safety precautions, due to the pandemic, also made me feel safe and comfortable during my stay. I've stayed in the area many times at various properties, but this became my favorite. The Hampton Inn is located not to far from Wine Country which made it a good location for us. We ended up staying in a king suite with a whirlpool. The room itself was pretty nice - it came with a small fridge, coffee maker, MICROWAVE and desk in addition to the bed/sofa of course. Only slightly weird thing about the room, is that the whirlpool tub is next to the bed and NOT in the bathroom. So if you are planing on using the tub be aware of that if you are traveling with family and/or friends. Breakfast in the morning is served till 10 am - the waffle machines were a nice touch. They appeared to change up the savory option though. One day there were eggs and sausages and the next biscuits and gravy. Always available were the usual muffins, cereal, toast, fruit, etc. I was craving oatmeal on the second day and was looking forward to it, but they ran out of it both days by the time we got there. They didn't appear to be trying to make more either time...just another random food comment too - they say that cookies go out in the afternoon but we neither got any or even saw other people with them. If they do go out it must be a tiny tray and they must go quick. A little irritating if you are advertising that you have cookies for guests... Overall, it was a good hotel and location for visiting Wine Country and the rooms appeared to be clean and well taken care of. The AC was great for this trip as it was SO HOT the entire time so appreciated that. If we stay in Temecula again we will consider the Hampton, but next time, I'm definitely going to get my cookies! read more

This place was nice, way nicer than expected. Check in was a breeze. The rooms were clean, modern and comfy. We had a nice king sized bed and a flat screen to watch our GOT premier. I had a nice night of sleep....loved the dark room and the chilly temperature. We had a little too much wine and didn't make it down to try out the free breakfat buffet, but I am sure it was good. Instead we made cup after cup of coffee trying to wake ourselves up enough to make the noon check out. I loved the little single serve coffee maker, better than a kurieg. Super close to all of the wineries, restaurants, freeway....probably the best place to stay while visiting the temecula wine trial. read more

I live in the area but needed a place for my family of 4 to stay while our house was being sprayed for ants. This place was comfortable and my kids loved it. Everyone was extremely nice and very helpful. We stayed in a double queen room it was enough room for the 4 of us plus a back and play which they provided. It was a little tight with the crib but we made it work. I'm a big AC person and the AC in the room got freezing!! Loved it!!! Plus the pool area was super nice and when I took the kids to use the pool/spa it was empty the entire time which is always nice when you have little ones who like to splash. Oh and a huge bonus! Free hot breakfast every morning! Super convenient! And onsite coin laundry which is nice when you have kids who constantly go through clothes! Would definitely stay again maybe even just for fun with the hubby and head into old town since it's a short walk or cheap cab ride (if you're in heels) read more

We've been here a few times now. The location is great. The front desk staff is fabulous. Unfortunately our last visit wasn't great, there was an ant infestation in our jacuzzi suite (couldn't use the tub and they crawled in us while we were sitting), but Rianna was awesome in addressing and working with us. The biggest problem was with the room assignment, which I've never had an issue with in the past. And the primary reason for the three stars is the management. Specifically the GM Nadine. She was unprofessional, condescending, and rude. We booked two rooms for my sisters 50th birthday. This was a luxury for us given COVID and we hadn't seen each other for over 8months. I used the app and specifically selected two rooms across from each other, even picked the room numbers through the app. We checked in at 10am and only one of the rooms were available. We were told the other would be open by about 3pm. When we came back we were told the room across from us was now given away. I complained to the front desk and Nadine called me in my room to follow up. Instead of acknowledging the problem she offered excuses, said it was because we weren't there and there were people waiting in the lobby to check in so because our room was "open" they gave it to them (ummmmm we had been waiting since 10a) and, when I continued to complain Nadine, instead of listening and empathizing, actually said (not kidding here), "are you done now, can I speak?" Yeah. Nice customer service. This pretty much sealed the anger deal. She then repeated again that we weren't here and the room picked on the app isn't guaranteed anyway. This lady was so disrespectful and so rude it only increased my irritation and made a bad situation worse. All that said I want to state it isn't the front desk's fault, they were wonderful and so friendly. Everyone makes mistakes, I'm just so very disappointed in the management. read more

Stayed here October 16-19th while in town from San Diego for our wedding. This hotel is AMAZING. The price is unbeatable for the quality, the hotel staff was friendly and their complimentary breakfast is some of the most delicious food I've ever had at a hotel. We reserved the whirlpool suite for our time here and I HIGHLY recommend it. The room is very large and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed using the whirlpool tub together each night after long days of preparing for the wedding. The only issues we had during our stay were that our room was not ready at the promised 3pm check in time so we were waiting around in the lobby until after 4pm, and they overcharged us at check out. Luckily I caught it and they made the necessary adjustments. Would 10000000% recommend staying here and hope we make it back up to Temecula sometime to stay here again. read more

Dollar for dollar, I feel I get quality and comfort at the Hampton Inn & Suites, every time. The front desk staff always knows the local area very well - this time, I was able to find out about some great walking options for friends and I that wanted to reconnect in a place where we could maybe have a picnic afterward...found a wonderful lake park, thanks to the clerk on staff that morning! The breakfast attendants do a great job with the display, selection, and availability of full hot breakfast bar options. My only concern there is the seating can, at times, be limited. But with great weather like Temecula, CA, you always have the option of stepping outside to finish coffee or juice while the sun is rising! The rooms are comfortable, well-equipped, easy free WI-FI, and great desk space for the working traveler. All in all, a good night's sleep! read more

This is your typical Hampton Inn. Nothing more and nothing less. The rooms are standard, comfortable, clean and well appointed. Ample free parking out front and a free continental breakfast buffet in the morning. Free wi-fi in all the rooms too. I loved that our room had a microwave, coffee maker and mini refrigerator -- three things that always come in handy while on the road! The location is good for visiting Old Town Temecula and the fabulous weekend farmer's market; it is withing walking distance directly across the street. read more

We stayed here over the weekend. Hotel was nice the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. All the rooms that were sanitized and cleaned had a Lysol sticker on it. This made me and my family feel safe from the COVID. The only reason I'm going them a 4star instead of a 5; the breakfast had no eggs, potatoes etc. just muffins, oatmeal, cereal etc. not sure if this is due to the COVID change. I am very happy with this place! The king bed is huge and fluffy and comfortable. There are plenty of outlets for chargers, etc. handy. There is a fridge and microwave, the decor is nice, and everything about it is comfy. The deep sink is great. I hate a shallow sink where you can barely get under the faucet. The little details like the way the towels and TP were folded were nice. I even checked out the complimentary breakfast. I think this was my first time in a Hampton Inn, so I didn't know what a bagel topper was. Not bad. Impressive spread compared to the "breakfast" at other places. Would definitely recommend this place if people wanted a hotel in Temecula. Just so comfy. read more

After a very nice stay for two nights for a family wedding in Temecula, my immediate family and I (six total) checked out early because we couldn't stay the third night; three nights had been reserved months ago. I was charged $100 of the approximately $300 room rate for the third night, which was a Friday night. Even though my family and I had stayed two nights already, I was required to give a 48-hour notice. Management implied that the room might be difficult to fill for the night. A quick check of travel booking sites revealed quite the opposite. This experience ruined my opinion of Hampton and Hilton hotels, in general. In the future, my lodging dollars will be spent elsewhere. read more

A mixed review to say the least. Awesome check in experience, friendly customer service and great interaction. The next morning didn't go quite so well, however. The walls are very thin, so we got to listen to the pregame party to a wine tour maybe? From 7 am to 9 am.. so thin, in fact, that we actually thought people were coming into our room on multiple occasions. THEN, the cleaning crew "accidentally" came into our room around 8:30, while we were in our unmentionables, and said they were told by the front desk that they needed to clean our room.. hmmm.... Very weird experience.. Close to Old Town, so it's easy walking distance, but the Springhill Suites right next door might be a better choice for you, which we have stayed at before. I have never dealt with a more rude and frankly mean staff in my life. The staff is extremely condescending and during a disagreement about our room made completely personal insults to me and my boyfriend that had nothing to do with the disagreement. The general manager is a witch. Our hotel room smelled horrible. As previous reviews stated, the walls are paper thin so good luck getting much sleep. We ended up leaving after a few hours. There are so many hotels near by. Pick any of those. Pick a motel over this one. Horrible staff. Horrible customer service. You will leave frustrated. read more

My experience was great. I had a king suite with whirlpool tub and was able to watch TV while soaking. The bed was comfortable and room quiet. The staff was super friendly at check in and check out. There was even a puzzle in the lobby. I enjoyed the complementary apples & coffee as a snack and free breakfast. I'd stay there again. The old town temecula was nearby and I enjoyed strolling on the wood side walk and popping into the little stores. My only recommendation is they upgrade the driveway from the street but it may be outside the property owners responsibility since it appeared to be a common area that is still being developed. read more

Coming from corporate Las Vegas having recently moved to the San Diego area, my good friend from Idaho booked their stay here. I worked a full shift at Harrahs and drove to meet my best friends who had come to visit from Idaho and had been wine tasting that day. After a full shift and not much to do.. I was hesitant to make the drive and spend the funds for only a small time with friends.... Being in the service industry... I am forced to handle myself with drunks, drugs, and many disrespectful people.... Customer service is not something I find often, but am more than appreciative when I do. We asked to call a cab and after a 20 min wait that was told would be 5... We decided to drive to dinner. Shift change occurred and we were welcomed by Brandon when we returned. I had to print of paperwork for a new job that had to be done that night. Thank you for the 24 access to your business center. It is late... But I am inspired to post about the above and beyond service. Brandon was kind, patient and helpful. One friend lost her phone by the pool... Which he went out of his way to find, and deliver to our room. We were brought towels after our swim in the hottub and pool. Being 4 girls alone... He also advised us on safety and let us know a good time to leave.. Also when the pool closed, so that we were not in a bad situation late at night. He offered waters and let us know what they had available at the hotel. Customer service is what keeps business alive. I had a reservation for a hot air balloon ride at one of the local spots but forgot to print out my ticket. Stopped in here as it was off the same freeway exit and asked the lady at the front desk if I could use their printer. I offered to pay for the usage of it. She looked annoyed that I was bothering her with her morning duties and told me that since I wasn't a customer that I could have use or access to their "business room". I then asked her if there was a Kinko's or something similar nearby and she told me that's what phones are for. Fortunately for the me the Springfield Suites next door was much more accommodating. Disaster averted. But I can't imagine how anyone in the hospitality business can run their business like this. Shameful. read more
