First things first- Kara, the studio owner, is wonderful. Her energy is so positive, she's welcoming and a talented teacher. She shares a lot of funny anecdotes during practice, but it does not take away from her clear instruction and balanced classes. The space itself is large and airy. There is no dedicated changing/lobby area, which makes the space feel even more intimate. I purchased the month long unlimited package for August. The studio was a short drive from Southampton. I love the studio so much that I try to make it an every day. In addition to traditional yoga classes, they offer lots of other wonderful extras, like reiki, kirtan, lunar classes, beach yoga, etc. I highly recommend these offerings. I really LOVE this studio- it's warm, unpretentious and totally non-competitive and I wish I could gently pick it up and place it next door to my apartment on the Upper East Side. Until then, I'll keep coming back to this studio whenever I'm out east.

The sauna was already hot, and although our session was only for 30 minutes, I don't think we could have stayed for much longer than that. A nice bonus is that it's only a short walk to a number of some good places to grab a bite afterwards. We'll definitely be back.

To make matters worse, the machine was placed in a dark corner, right next to an electrical panel, with only a blank wall to look at and positioned just outside the bathroom--far from a relaxing setting. I then tried another machine where you elevate your feet, which was in a better environment. However, I couldn't fully relax after the unpleasant experience with the first machine. Upon paying, I informed the staff about the sewage smell. They did only charge me for one session, which I appreciate, but honestly, no customer should be subjected to such conditions in the first place. I'll just have to buy the vibrating machine for myself.
