WORST DENTAL EXPERIENCE…read more I got braces from this dentist about two years ago and received my retainers two weeks later. Fast forward to three weeks ago, when I lost my top retainer. I called the office to schedule an appointment, but they said they were closed, even though their website indicated that they were open. I proceeded to call three days in a row. Each time, the woman on the phone told me that she needed to get back to someone and would call me the next day. When she finally called me back, five days after I initially reached out, she told me that the earliest available appointment was two weeks away. When I finally made it to my appointment, my teeth had shifted a little. Dr. Jianjun Hao told me that my only options were to get braces again or keep my teeth the way they were. From what I understand, there are other options that can sometimes be considered when teeth have shifted after losing a retainer, so I found it strange that I was only given the option of paying $2,000 for braces again, and only for my top teeth. I started asking questions about why I would need braces again and whether there were any other options. They knew I obviously wouldn't want to leave my teeth the way they were, so it felt like I was essentially being given only one choice: pay another $2,000 for braces. It felt like a money grab. However, the main reason I am writing this negative review is because of how I was treated. I was simply a curious patient asking questions, and I was not causing any problems. I was raised to ask questions politely, but instead of answering my questions, I was met with hostility and felt like I was being pushed out the door, even though I was still within my scheduled appointment time. Dr. Jianjun Hao was extremely unprofessional. Rather than taking the time to address my concerns and explain my options, he seemed more focused on getting me out of the office. I have been coming to this dentist my entire life, about 20 years, and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had here. After being a patient for so long, I am extremely disappointed with the way I was treated. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.

Today I had work done by Dr. Zoya and her assistant, and it was a great experience. Dr. Zoya was very pleasant and gentle throughout the visit. As an adult, I've had other dentists who weren't nearly as careful or comforting, so her approach really stood out. She clearly knows what she's doing and made the appointment feel easy and comfortable. Her assistant was also great and very helpful. Even though this is known as a kids' dentist, I've continued coming here into adulthood because of experiences like this.

Both doctors assured me that it isn't like that. Today was the big day. Dr Chae told me nervous is normal and then got to work. About five minutes after starting he said "the tooth is out"! If you go here because it's pretty and they are nice, just make sure you speak with your insurance and keep track of what you pay, or don't if you don't mind paying extra. I don't know about you, but most of my experiences at the dental office have been unpleasant. More often than not, I have felt like just another person that fills a chair with no real personal care or plan. Once I saw the great reviews for here- I booked an appointment. That was almost 4 years ago, and I haven't gone anywhere since! My very first appointment here was probably the best one I've ever had at a dentist. I had just came from a dental office where I went with a problem of bleeding gums and all I was told was that there was a mouthwash I would have to use to correct the problem.... Pretty much forever lol and then sent right out the door. It went the complete opposite here though. I first met Dr Diana Barzano and she got me right together......she was so sweet that she gave me her cell phone number in case I had any questions or issues with my mouth after she got done working on me; I had a lot of issues going on. Despite what I had going on she made me feel super safe and actually cared for. Everyone in the office is an absolute sweetheart and extremely professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Val is another one of my favorites. I started taking my young son there and he loves her too. Although he is only nine, she and everyone else is very hands-on with dealing with him, especially since he can be pretty nervous in the office. I am so glad that I found them and don't plan on going anywhere else.
