New customers: SPICY MAYO & TERIYAKI!! If you aren't adding this in your bowl, then you won't understand why the locals love this place so much! It's quick, easy and there's so many forms of rewards. It's a chicken rice bowl with vegetables. That's it. The sauces is what makes it unique.

Hana Kitchen's chicken (and vegan) teriyaki bowls shine with great flavor, satisfying portions, and good value.

Good Hawaiian fusion place. The chicken bowl was loaded and really filled me up. The guava slushee was not good. It was very fake and processed and I would assume the rest are like that. Don't get the slushee, but the bowls are good. Overall it's not the best place I have been to and many other better places in Santa Barbara, but it gets the job done if you need a quick bite to eat over lunch. We sat outside which has great seating and shade. Service is non existent as you order from a counter and pick up yourself.

I came for the vegan food but was told they don't have anything vegan or vegetarian - nothing at all.

We were having trouble narrowing down what to order (since the menu is so stacked), so we asked our amazing server, Maiya, what we should get. She helped us narrow it down to the Oyster Mushroom Skewers, Cha Cha Tofu, Mushroom Nachos, Gringa and Crunch Wrap. We definitely made the right decision by heeding her advice - every single item was a home run. The Oyster Mushroom Skewers and nachos were insane appetizers, and the Gringa + Crunchwrap were both amazing meals. The cha cha tofu was also banging and was a uniquely amazing side dish. Maiya was super kind and attentive - she made our time at Rascal's even more excellent. I could not more strongly recommend dinner at Rascal's! They have white lanterns hanging around the exterior and on the ceiling of the interior, which add an element of fun. It is quite cramped in this space, so they also offer outdoor seating and there was even patio seating in an area across the street. I was able to quickly place my meal and received a buzzer to let me know when to pick it up at the counter. The food was incredible! I ordered the falafel plate and a lamb kofta sandwich. The sandwich was loaded with veggies and the lamb had such delicious flavor! The falafel plate was so filling and came with a good amount of items. They gave us pickled cabbage, carrots, and cauliflower, which I still miss! Wish I could've bought a bottle of them! SO GOOD. The meal was filling but not heavy! It was perfect. The only issue that I'd like to point out, which isn't big but did bother me was that the water station that they offered didn't have any indication of which silver cups were clean and which were dirty. I asked a guy who was sitting next to it and he said, "Drink at your own risk." Also, if you're not a fan of little birds flying around during your meal, you might have an issue. They aren't scared of going around people. One jumped on our table and I had to move our drinks away. Aside from that, it was a solid meal and we still enjoyed ourselves!

Located at the very end of the SB Public Market and right next to Cooneys bar. Their menu offers chicken, pork, beef and tofu Bánh Mi, as well as meat skewers, stir fry and salads. Just to name a few. I've tried the chicken and beef skewers which comes in the Hungry Box. I subbed two of the skewers for beef, but in all honesty the beef was too too tough to break down. My one pet peeve is meat that is chewy, dry and too tough to eat. Although it was flavorful, but I wouldn't order it again. I did enjoy the chicken skewer though! The Hungry Box also comes with rice and a salad. Both of which were simple but a nice compliment to the skewers. On my recent visit I ordered the Buffalo wings. They were delicious! I appreciate that the sauce wasn't too spicy. I haven't had buffalo wings in a long time and these really hit the spot! The French fries were also good and not too salty. The salad with the box and the pickled veggies in the bahn mi were fresh and crisp too. Just a comment on the bahn mi is there the ratio of bread to filling in the bahn mi was just a little too much bread. Overall though, it we enjoyed it and it made for a very nice meal.

While we were waiting for our order, another customer walked up to ask her a question, and she continued staring down at her phone and completely ignored her. The woman actually had to say, "Excuse me?" just to get her attention. I completely understand wanting to wrap things up at the end of a shift, but if a business is still open, customers shouldn't be made to feel unwelcome for coming in during posted business hours. We specifically chose this place because of the great reviews, so this was a really disappointing first impression.
