A staff member handed me the order right away. Both the sushi rolls were packed in a small box, with some wasabi and ginger. It can with tiny bottle of soy sauce and a nice pair of chopsticks. The sushis tasted decent but were way too small is size and quantity. Each roll had 6 pieces only, not even 8 like most places do. I was still hungry after eating both rolls.

She went to the kitchen to check and returned with the receipt again, at which point it became clear that my order had not even been started. After waiting nearly an hour from the time I placed my order, I asked for it to be canceled and left. Unfortunately, this is not the first time this has happened when I've ordered takeout from this restaurant. I completely understand that restaurants get busy, especially during peak dinner hours, but if the kitchen cannot keep up with both dine-in and online orders, it would be much better to temporarily disable online ordering until the backlog is under control. Other nearby restaurants, such as Okinami, do exactly that to avoid long waits and frustrated customers. The food has always been decent, but it is simply not worth waiting almost an hour for a takeout order--especially when the order hadn't even been started and I was repeatedly told it would only be "a few more minutes." I would much rather be given an honest estimate upfront than continue waiting without any meaningful update. Better communication and better management of online orders would go a long way toward improving the customer experience.
