This place is nuts! Recently opened for business and with the hot weather, everyone and their mama wants ice cream. The line is a bit long, so I suggest ordering online for pick up. I know they just opened, so there's some kinks to work out. I wish they had a better system in place to pick up for both online and counter orders. Also, there's no patio seating, but there are some lawn games and space for it. Now on to the ice cream. Seriously, it's like no other. You can taste the difference. It's insanely good. Like, new memory unlocked good! The staff is super nice even with the chaos. There are a ton of options, even for the pickiest one in your group. You can't go wrong with any of the choices. After a highly anticipated opening, I was very excited to try Handel's in Prosper, and it did NOT disappoint! The flavor selection is unmatched, service was extremely friendly, and the price point is extremely reasonable. Came here on a Sunday evening around 8pm. Since it just opened recently, it was naturally very crowded with about 40 people in line. Despite how crazy it was, the employees kept a very organized cadence. We ordered a 4 scoop sampler and it was still under $7! Perfect for the hot summer. Each flavor was delicious, with my favorite being the blue monster and the banana creme pie. read more

First time ever having Handel's was this week. Huge selection of classic style ice cream. They have giant raised video boards with names and pictures of everything so you can sort out what you'd like while you wait, which I really enjoyed. The staff was courteous and really hustling. The ice cream bowl I received was delicious, the portion was significant, and thus by extension the prices feel pretty reasonable. The only feedback I have is the place could use some less harsh lighting and some sound dampening ceiling tiles. It's like light and sound sensory overload in there when it's busy. read more

This is the best ice cream. I got some kind of lemon flavor and it was great. My son-in-law loved his pistachio and my daughter had some kind of caramel ice cream. I got Rocky road for my other daughter and my husband and they both said it was not very good. We will skip that flavor next time. The young ladies who work here are very sweet. Ice cream was delicious, one of the best I've had. There was a flavor for everyone in our crew. The staff was friendly and helpful, my only issue is the lack of seating, it makes it fairly difficult with little kids. On a hot day it's almost impossible to eat it faster than it melts and drips especially for the littles. Both my kids and my car needed a shower by the end of it. read more

The ice cream is 10/10 for sure! The wait was quite long but I understand it's a popular spot and the quality is worth the wait. My issue is with the lack of seating! It's quite absurd that a place like this doesn't have a single table/chair inside or outside leaving people and children to sit on the ground& near the road.
