Called them up sometime last week and told them what my problem was and A.J, (the manager), sent a guy by the name of Alex today to fix/repair my kitchen cabinet door and the floor. Appointment was at 11AM and they showed up 10 minutes prior. So punctual! A.J. and Alex were so patient, knowledgeable, efficient and professional. The work was done in less than 2 hours. Then he told me he had his own company and offered to do it for half the price himself. The visit to give us the estimate cost us $85. This was pretty shady and I eventually called Mr. Handyman to tell them what had happened. The person I spoke to, Jack, who apologized and was very nice and offered to refund at for the estimate and he set up a second estimate. That person came and bid it at substantially less than the first tech, reinforcing my thought that the first person had inflated the estimate so that he could get the work himself. By that time, though, a neighbor had passed on the name of someone who bid the job much lower than even the second Mr. Handyman estimate. And to make matters worse, they never followed through with refunding us the money for the bogus first estimate. So overall, disappointed in this service and do not recommend.
