It's small, making for more intimate performances, but not too small, so they get some decent acts coming through. They offer a full bar with beer, mixed drinks and even THC seltzers. They've got some tables and seating, though you have to pay extra for the seating. Ramkat is located in a great part of town with several dining options, and breweries near by. There are paid lots for parking, but also plenty of free street parking if you arrive early enough.

However, the quality of the performance more than made up for it. There were a lot of specialty drinks available, but I just opted for some sodas. Service at the bar was friendly and they were making their way through the line quickly. The energy in the space was good and it seemed like a true music lover's haven. One challenge I had was that there didn't seem to be any seating options for general admission. Even offering a couple of off-to-the-side seats for a rest would be handy, since staying on your feet for a few hours straight can get a little tiring. Perhaps that was a possiblity and I missed it. There was seating in the VIP sections though and the price differential didn't seem too dramatic. Seriously, no bad view in the place due to the venue being so small. A main street in this small little town was closed off to food and craft vendors. We had gotten there right after lunch time so that was the first order of business. We saw a food truck that served eggrolls and also deep dish pizza. We saw a patron that had the pizza and it looked pretty good and she said it was, but we opted for the eggrolls. We got the Reuben's Revenge which was a pseudo Reuben (cause I love me some Reuben) and a side of tots with cheese sauce. How can you go wrong with that combo. Both were stellar so thanks Rolling Deep food truck for those tasty morsels. Next to it was a lemonade truck (a converted pull along trailer, that was super cute). They had a variety of lemonades for $7 cash, service was excellent and the lemonade was sweet and not overly so and big enough to share. Again thanks Lilly's Lemonade from Yadkinville for a drink great for the sunny day. We had a long walk up the street and although we didn't buy any of the merchandise there was a number of craft kind of items. This is definitely going to be on our "to-do" list for next year. It's set in the downtown pilot mountain area, parking was pretty easy and so so many different vendors. We enjoyed some "Reuben" egg rolls and cheesy tots from Rolling Deep food truck .. amazing . They even made deep dish pizzas that I saw a woman eating and I thought...why didn't I get that too? Apparently it's been here yearly for 43 years. Every 2nd weekend of May. First and foremost, Spooky Woods only honors military discounts for active duty members, not their families. If your spouse is deployed or TDY, you cannot use your dependent ID to claim the advertised BOGO tickets. Additionally, the attraction does not recognize Gold Star families, which was especially disheartening after my friend--who lost her loved one in active duty--was also turned away. I strongly encourage management to reconsider this policy, as these families have made profound sacrifices and deserve recognition. We attended on opening night and waited approximately three hours in line. While some wait time is expected, better organization could greatly improve the experience. There were fun moments--music, light interaction, and themed characters--but compared to a competitor we visited the night before (which featured a full fall festival and concert guests could enjoy while waiting), the overall setup here felt less engaging and far less efficient. There was also a bar halfway through the line, but guests were not informed during ticketing that a green wristband was required to purchase drinks. After standing in line for hours, many people were understandably frustrated when they discovered this too late. Clearer communication would easily fix this issue. The "Bates Motel" and "Camp Crystal Lake" sets were the standout features in terms of design and atmosphere. However, the actor performances lacked coordination and consistency--several repeated the same handful of lines, and some of the scariest characters weren't even in their designated themed areas. One performer in particular, a female clown with black and white hair, blew an air horn directly into my mother's and my ears at close range, causing immediate ringing and a migraine that lingered for hours. That kind of proximity-based scare tactic poses legitimate safety concerns and should be addressed immediately. Furthermore, the terrain was uneven and poorly lit, with unexpected drops and steps that posed a hazard, especially for elderly guests. Adding proper signage, lighting, or a simple warning at the entrance would help prevent potential injuries. Overall, while there were moments of entertainment and strong visual effects, the experience did not align with the ticket price or expectations.

It was almost $70 bucks for two people and I used my veteran discount on the tickets or it would of been more like eighty. The theater itself was nice enough, but nothing fancy. It actually looked a little dated and dirty. Okay sound and a fair screen, my tv at home has a better picture in my opinion. It used to be an inexpensive way to go out, going to the movies. No more.
